Index Funds India | क्या Mutual funds सही है?? | (Mutual funds Vs Index Funds - Part 1(Hindi))

10:40
#Mutualfunds #stocks #Indexfundsindia Index Funds are a type of Mutual fund which replicate an Index. Index funds are a relatively new concept in India and the most sensible way to grow your wealth, especially for a know-nothing investor. Mr. Varun Malhotra will explain why Index funds are a better alternative compared with actively managed Mutual funds for stock market investors. Mutual funds charge a small fee (around 1%) for managing investor's money and it sounds reasonable for a stock market beginner in mutual funds but 1% can make a BIG difference as will be explained in the video also. In this video series on Index funds in India, Mr. Varun Malhotra will explain the common arguments advisors and professionals offer for investing in an actively managed Mutual fund. He will also explain why these commonly held opinions/advise/viewpoints are wrong. The content has never been discussed before by anybody from the Mutual fund Industry or by anybody else in India before this video and can have a deep impact on a common investors' investing philosophy. 2 Simple mindsets to Develop a Habit of Saving regularly | पैसे बचाने के दो सरल तरीके

07:05
Saving regularly is the most crucial part of investing. If you can't save you can't invest. So investing inherently requires more than just knowing 'How to invest'. You can know a LOT but not implement it because of not having the necessary habits to carry out the planned action, so in that sense, the habit of 'saving' is so so critical. These two ways can help to form a habit of saving (there can be many more..) 1. Compare Present 'happiness' and 'utility' of buying something VS. If you save and invest that money what will be its future value - 10,20,30 years from today. 2. Save 10% of your Income no matter what. Consider this 10% an extra Tax the government has levied on your income. Furthermore, It is also recommended that the viewers watch the Mutual fund series, if you haven't already seen it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CYgD... Learn the ways of Investing in the stock market (What does Investing really mean?)

01:42
The most basic and most important question one should understand as an investor is, what does investing really mean? Now that sounds like a very very very simple question, but how many people actually understand this? Mr. Varun Malhotra explains exactly what it means to make an "Investment". Here, when he says you buy a company believing in its future cash flows, obviously the cash is not coming in your pocket but since you're the shareholder (owner), indirectly you are benefiting. As the company generates more cash, it is likely that either it declares a dividend or the market value of the company increases to reflect its earnings. Corporation Bank 27. Canara Bank 28. Central Bank of India (CBI) **Why you should always invest on the 9th of Every month** Interest is calculated on the Minimum Balance between the 10th & End of Every month, Therefore, ALWAYS INVEST ON 9th of every month. Let's see with the help of an example : Case 1 : If you deposit Rs. 2000 on 11th of Every month April - Rs. 2000 (Deposited on 11th April 2019) - No interest is calculated on Rs. 2000 for April May - Rs. 2000 (Deposited on 11th May 2019) - While you have deposited Rs. 4000, Interest is calculated only on Rs. 2000 deposited on 11th April 2019 NOT on the Rs. 2000 invested on May 11th 2019. Interest earned is Rs. 14.16 for two months Case 2: If you deposit Rs. 2000 on 9th of Every month April - Rs. 2000 (Deposited on 9th April 2019) Interest Earned for April - 8.5%/12*2000 = Rs. 14.16 May - Rs. 2000 (Deposited on 9th May 2019) Interest Earned for May Rs. 14.16 (Approx. It will be slighter lower since the deposit of Rs. 2000 in May would not be invested for full 12 months but for 11 months) Interest Earned is more simply because Interest is calculated on higher deposits when invested on 9th of every month as opposed to the 11th of every month, despite the fact that there was only a 2 day difference between the deposit (9th - 11th) If this situation is repeated for 21 years, the extra interest earned + the impact of Compound Interest over 21 years = A very significant difference in your final corpus. Mutual funds - क्या आपके Mutual Fund manager अपने फंड में invest करते हैं? | (Part 3 - Hindi)

17:46
This Mutual funds series talks about why index funds are superior than actively managed Mutual funds and understanding that the reasoning provided by the mutual fund industry to justify investing in actively managed mutual funds is flawed. You will be surprised to know that Mutual fund managers barely invest anything in their own schemes. In fact, there are only 2 managers in the entire industry that have sizeable investments in their own funds. This is a shocking revelation of the Mutual funds industry and Mutual fund investors in India must be cognisant of this reality before investing in them. Best Multi Cap Fund? - BSE 500 Index explained हिंदी में | Index Funds Vs Mutual Funds

12:54
DISCLAIMER : WE ARE NOT RECOMMENDING/SUGGESTING YOU SHOULD INVEST IN BSE 500 INDEX RIGHT NOW AT ALL. PLS DO NOT INVEST IN BSE 500 INDEX AT THE MOMENT. THIS VIDEO IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. IN FUTURE, IT MAY BECOME A VIABLE INVESTMENT OPTION BUT NOT YET. Could BSE 500 Index Fund be the next Best Multi Cap? As everybody knows we are strong proponents of Investing in Index funds which have low fee and by virtue of that have beaten over a very high percentage of Mutual Fund schemes over 20 year periods. Until now we have educated our viewers about Nifty 50 index, which can help us invest in the economy and grow with it at a low cost over long period of time. But many people are of the opinion that Nifty does not replicate the economy perfectly, which is true. There are limitations to Nifty such as having Only top 50 companies (although they contribute majority share to the Total Market capitalisation of the All listed companies in India). BSE 500 Index is another Index which can prove to be better in replicating a larger portion of the economy since it contains 500 companies Not 50. Could this BSE 500 Index fund be a reasonable investment and help a know-nothing investor achieve average market returns (Average here = Great) going in the future? Yes we believe so, however, at the moment it does have limitations which do NOT allow it to be feasible now but hopefully in the future it will be. Currently, the BSE 500 Index fund has relatively high Expense Ratio and Low Assets under Management (around 4-4.5 Cr), which may make it hard to replicate the index exactly. This video is for educational purposes and explains the advantages and disadvantages of a BSE 500 index fund. Website : www.varunmalhotra.co.in Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/www.varunmal... Mutual Funds - Warren Buffett on Indian Mutual Funds (Part 4 - Hindi)

13:32
In this video in the Mutual Fund series, we will discuss what Warren Buffett has to say about investing in Mutual funds in India. This is perfect for Stock market beginners in India who wish to learn extensively about the Mutual fund industry. Many Mutual fund advisors and professionals are of the opinion that Index funds do not work in India because Markets are inefficient in India and therefore these inefficiencies in pricing can be exploited by the trained mutual fund manager but Warren Buffett disagrees. Warren Buffett still think Index funds are a suitable investment for almost all investors, whether they are Stock market beginners or have been investing for long, and that he would NOT invest with Active Mutual fund managers in India. Mr. Varun Malhotra will discuss WHY he think markets are NOT inefficient as many MF proponents say and his conversation through e-mail with one of the 100 most powerful people on the planet, Mr. John C Bogle - Founder, The Vanguard Group. क्या share market beginners 15% कमा सकते हैं? | Why we assume15% Return from Index Funds in Long run

16:51
Attend FLAP for Free - https://www.varunmalhotra.co.in As you all know according to us Share market beginners can earn higher returns than an active mutual fund at 15% CAGR over prolonged period of time. After citing this 15% assumption for long term growth in Nifty (i.e - A proxy for investing in Indian Economy), many viewers have commented and asked questions that How is 15% possible? Some people say from January 2008, return is 5% so how come we are assuming 15% growth in the index? Some Say last 10 years return is only 12.50% so how come 15%? And some say Since 2000, Nifty return is only 12% so What is our basis for assuming 15% growth in the long run? All the above are good questions and this video we will learn that: 1. The starting point for calculating Returns has a huge impact on the overall result as will be demonstrated by us in the video. 2. That the co-relation between broad market Indices such as Nifty and GDP is 1 in the long run 3. Since GDP growth since 1980 is around 15% we are assuming that Index Return will be the same as GDP growth since Nifty and sensex are reflections of the GDP itself. 4. By investing in simply an Index fund we can actually assume 15% returns over the long run by the above reasoning. Tracking Error Explained In our Mutual Funds series we have explained that Index funds are likely to perform much better than most 'actively managed' mutual funds over the long term and that as a know nothing investor one should invest in an Index Funds (after Going through FLAP Course at www.varunmalhotra.co.in - Available For Free). #NPS #NationalPensionScheme #taxplanning National Pension Scheme (NPS) is a retirement/tax saving scheme that can help save tax and get regular pension after retirement. The Government of India introduced the National Pension scheme in 2004 only for Government Employees but later opened it for all citizens of the country in 2009. In this video Mr. Varun Malhotra will show with the help of actual calculations whether it is better to invest in NPS for Retirement and Tax benefits or simply to invest in the Nifty Index fund. Calculations have been done for : 1. A 30 year old 2. A 40 year old 3. A 50 year old and for 5%, 20,% and 30% Tax Brackets. Certain assumptions have also been taken in coming up with the final numbers, as shown in the video itself. 15% Return मिल सकता है क्या If GDP growth slow हो जाए ? (Part 2)| stock market for beginners

08:01
Attend FLAP course for Free at https://www.varunmalhotra.co.in In the last video on Why we assume 15% return from Stock market (Index Fund), we explained to our Viewers (Stock market Beginners mostly) as to why we believe 15% Return is a reasonable assumption. We talked about how the return of Index Fund is likely to 15% as has been the case since 1980 because Nominal GDP growth has been 15% but it is vital to understand that this may change depending on GDP growth and inflation going in the future. Our reasoning provided to Stock market beginners viewing our videos and for others too, for why we assume 15% Growth is based on historical nominal GDP growth and the change in it will result in expectations from the Index Funds. A logical question that arises from the above reasoning is that What will happen if GDP growth slows down, How much will the impact be and will we have to revise our assumption of a 15% Return from the Stock market i.e - Index Funds if that occurs? This video on What happens if the GDP growth slows down will explain the idea that even if GDP slows down, return may still remain 15% depending on reasons explained in the video. The Government of India introduced the National Pension scheme in 2004 for Government Employees only but was later opened to all citizens of the country in 2009. In this video Mr. Varun Malhotra will discuss the two common mistakes people are making when they think about NPS. 1. Many viewers commented that NPS is not beneficial because there is no liquidity and "what if I need the entire corpus at retirement"? 2. Many viewers also commented on How Annuity plans were NOT good and that Annuity plans offer really low returns. On receiving feedback from the first 3 videos on NPS - National Pension System, we realised that many viewers have these common questions in mind : 1. How annuity plans work? 2. What type of Annuity plans exist? 3. What type of Annuity plan would be suited to you? 3. How much returns one can expect on an annuity plan? ...and other features of NPS such as liquidity issues and long lock-in.
