Lepenski Vir Civilization - History of the World for Kids | Educational Videos by Mocomi

02:34
https://mocomi.com/ presents : Lepenski Vir Civilization - History Videos for Kids One of the earliest known human settlements, is at the Lepenski-Vir archeological site in modern day Serbia. The presence of these early Europeans date back to around 7000 BC, when they first began settling on the banks of the river Danube. There is evidence of a complex, well planned housing system. The houses were arranged in a horseshoe shape that opened into the river. Archeologists believed that the space in between was used as a meeting place or town square. There seems to be one large central village that probably houses around 100 people. The population must have eventually grown because a few satellite villages came up surrounding the main one. An interesting factor of each house is that they were all equipped with indoor fireplaces that served as a stove to cook food as well as a source of heat. The Lepenski-Vir settlements are important because they give us an insight into the civilization’s transition from a nomadic hunter-gatherer way of life to an agricultural one. Whatever Happened To Darwin's Tree Of Life?

01:17:53
Seminar by Paul Nelson PhD Seattle Creation Conference, October 2010 New Life Four Square Church, Everett WA Description: Throughout the 20th century, Darwin's picture of all organisms on Earth arising from a great Tree, with a single root, dominated biology. Within the past decade, however, a growing number of evolutionary biologists have announced that biology must "go beyond the doctrine of common descent" and that "the Tree of Life is dead." What discoveries motivate these claims? What are the consequences for the origins debate? In his talk, Dr. Nelson will review the genomic data fracturing the Tree of Life at its base, and what this means for the future of biology. About the Speaker: Paul A. Nelson is a philosopher of biology who has been involved in the intelligent design debate internationally for over two decades. His grandfather, Byron C. Nelson (1893-1972), a theologian and author, was an influential mid-20th century dissenter from Darwinian evolution. After receiving his B.A. in philosophy with a minor in evolutionary biology from the University of Pittsburgh, Nelson entered the University of Chicago, where he received his Ph.D. (1998) in the philosophy of biology and evolutionary theory.[1] He is currently a Fellow of the Discovery Institute and Adjunct Professor in the Master of Arts Program in Science & Religion at Biola University. An early associate of Professor Phillip Johnson of UC-Berkeley, author of the bestselling critique Darwin on Trial, Nelson was an organizer of the Mere Creation conference (1996), where the modern intelligent design research community first formed. Nelson's research interests include the relationship between developmental biology and our knowledge of the history of life, the theory of intelligent design, and the interaction of science and theology. He lectures frequently at colleges and universities throughout the United States and Europe, has spoken on American and Italian national public radio, and written for popular publications as varied as the Oslo Dagbladet and the Christian Research Journal. Nelson's scholarly articles have appeared in journals such as Biology & Philosophy, Zygon, Rhetoric and Public Affairs, and Touchstone, and book chapters in the anthologies Mere Creation (Intervarsity Press), Signs of Intelligence (Brazos), Intelligent Design Creationism and Its Critics (MIT Press), and Darwin, Design, and Public Education (Michigan State University Press). His forthcoming monograph, On Common Descent, critically evaluates the theory of common descent. He is a member of the Society for Developmental Biology (SDB) and the International Society for the History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Biology (ISHPSSB). _________________________________________________________________ This seminar was recorded during the 2010 Seattle Creation Conference at New Life Four Square Church in Everett Washington. Archaeology in the Southwest: To Collect or Not? T.J. Ferguson, Archaeologist and Professor, School of Anthropology, University of Arizona Don Whyte, Chief Ranger, Chaco Culture National Historical Park Elysia Poon (Moderator), IARC program coordinator, School for Advanced Research IARC Speaker Series, SAR Boardroom Thursday, March 14, 2013, 12:00--1:00 pm, Free Did you know it is illegal to collect pottery sherds and stone tools from public lands? Noted Southwest archaeologist T.J. Ferguson and Chaco Culture National Historical Park Chief Ranger Don Whyte discuss how to navigate the legalities surrounding archaeology in the Southwest and whether or not there is a way to be a responsible collector. This lecture is part of the 2013 Speaker Series of the Indian Arts Research Center at the School for Advanced Research. The series, titled Ethics, Aesthetics, and Preservation of the Arts, is geared toward individuals and institutions interested in collecting and working with cultural materials. Speakers will delve into the various legal and ethical issues surrounding art collecting and preservation, and offer some best-practice guidelines. T. J. Ferguson is a professor in the School of Anthropology at the University of Arizona, where he edits the Anthropological Papers of the University of Arizona. He also owns Anthropological Research LLC, a research company in Tucson, Arizona, that specializes in archaeological and ethnographic research needed for historic preservation, repatriation, and litigation of land and water rights. Ferguson holds a Masters of Community and Regional Planning (1986) and a PhD in Anthropology (1993) from the University of New Mexico. For three decades, he has conducted archaeological, ethnographic, and historical research of Pueblo and Apache tribes in the Southwest. He is the author of three books: A Zuni Atlas (1985, with E. Richard Hart), Historic Zuni Architecture and Society: An Archaeological Application of Space Syntax (1996), and History is in the Land: Multivocal Tribal Traditions in Arizona's San Pedro Valley (2006, with Chip Colwell-Chanthaphonh). He has also authored numerous articles and book chapters on the archaeology and cultural landscapes of the Southwest. Don Whyte (Ute Mountain Ute) grew up in the heart of Ute (Mesa Verde) country in Towaoc, Colorado. Early on, Whyte's parents made him aware of the cliff dwellings, Pueblo surface sites, and all the archaeological resources on his reservation. They felt that it was critical to know these resources despite the cultural taboos most of his tribal members observed. In the late seventies, Whyte worked as a tribal tour guide for the Ute Mountain Tribal Park, where he conducted regular day tours and special request tours in the park. He then went on to work as a federal law enforcement officer/ US park ranger at Mesa Verde National Park (Yucca House National Monument), Hovenweep National Monument, Petroglyph National Monument, Petrified Forest National Park, Yellowstone National Park, Haleakala National Park, Death Valley National Park, and many other cultural resource-related national parks in the West. Currently, Whyte is chief ranger at Chaco Culture National Historical Park. Sponsored by Anne Ray Charitable Trust

Don't forget to rate, comment, and subscribe! AQ's video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0poVUXAVUu0 Links to the peer-reviewed articles that I briefly displayed on the topics of particle-antiparticle asymmetry and inflation. Illusions, delusions and the brain. A Ramachandran lecture on body image and mind body interactions.

01:25:15
This lecture by Prof. V.S. Ramachandran (University of California, San Diego) will focus on body image and mind body interactions. http://www.glasgow.ac.uk/index.html?refer=guyoutube This year's prestigious University of Glasgow Gifford Lecture Series will feature three talks from V.S. Ramachandran, the Director of the Centre for Brain and Cognition and Distinguished Professor with the Psychology Department and Neurosciences Program at the University of California. Founded in 1887 by the bequest of Lord Gifford, the annual Gifford Lecture Series was established to promote, advance and diffuse the study of Natural Theology in the widest sense of that term. The focus of this series will be 'Body and Mind; Insights from Neuroscience.' Ramachandran said: "Monday's lecture will focus on body image and mind body interactions, while Wednesday's lecture will deal with understanding higher brain functions through studies of synesthesia and other types of intersensory interactions, including discoveries of mirror neurons. I will also touch on the important deeper philosophical implications that surround these subject areas." Dr Susan Stuart, Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Glasgow said: "It is our great pleasure that Vilayanur S. Ramachandran has agreed to present the 2012 Gifford lectures at the University of Glasgow. Ramachandran is one of the world's leading neuroscientists; he has been responsible for groundbreaking work in the fields of behavioural neurology and psychophysics. "His work on autism, visual processing, and synaesthesia is truly pioneering and during his career he has carried out marvellous work on understanding and treating phantom limb disorders as well as linking between temporal lobe epilepsy and hyper-religiosity, a field now known as 'neurotheology' or 'spiritual neuroscience'." Biography: V.S. Ramachandran is Director of the Center for Brain and Cognition and Distinguished Professor with the Psychology Department and Neurosciences Program at the University of California, San Diego, and Adjunct Professor of Biology at the Salk Institute. Ramachandran initially trained as a doctor and subsequently obtained a Ph.D. from Trinity College at the University of Cambridge. Ramachandran's early work was on visual perception but he is best known for his experiments in behavioral neurology which, despite their apparent simplicity, have had a profound impact on the way we think about the brain. He has been called "The Marco Polo of neuroscience" by Richard Dawkins and "The modern Paul Broca" by Eric Kandel. In 2005 he was awarded the Henry Dale Medal and elected to an honorary life membership by the Royal Instituion of Great Britain, where he also gave a Friday evening discourse (joining the ranks of Michael Faraday, Thomas Huxley, Humphry Davy, and dozens of Nobel Laureates). His other honours and awards include fellowships from All Souls College, Oxford, and from Stanford University (Hilgard Visiting Professor); the Presidential Lecture Award from the American Academy of Neurology, two honorary doctorates, the annual Ramon Y Cajal award from the International Neuropsychiatry Society, and the Ariens-Kappers medal from the Royal Netherlands Academy of Sciences. In 2003 he gave the annual BBC Reith lectures and was the first physician/psychologist to give the lectures since they were begun by Bertrand Russel in 1949. In 1995 he gave the Decade of the Brain lecture at the 25th annual (Silver Jubilee) meeting of the Society for Neuroscience. In 2010 he delivered the annual Jawaharlal Nehru memorial lecture in New Delhi, India. Most recently the President of India conferred on him the second highest civilian award and honorific title in India, the Padma Bhushan. And TIME magazine named him on their list of the 100 most influential people in the world. Ramachandran has published over 180 papers in scientific journals (including five invited review articles in the Scientific American). He is author of the acclaimed book "Phantoms in the Brain" that has been translated into nine languages and formed the basis for a two part series on Channel Four TV (UK) and a 1 hour PBS special in USA. NEWSWEEK magazine has named him a member of "The Century Club" -- one of the "hundred most prominent people to watch in the next century." He has been profiled in the New Yorker Magazine and appeared on the Charlie Rose Show. His new book, "The Tell Tale Brain" was on the New York Times best-seller list. In addition, Ramachandran has an interest in history and archaeology (see his article on the Indus Valley Code).

Researchers have shown that ancient Egyptian iron beads held at the UCL Petrie Museum were hammered from pieces of meteorites, rather than iron ore. The objects, which trace their origins to outer space, also predate the emergence of iron smelting by two millennia. Mapping resources that matter: Paul Bauman at TEDxCanmore

17:08
Talk Overview 90% of geophysicists in the world explore for oil and gas. Another 5% explore for mineral resources. And another 4.9% teach and regulate the previous 95%. In today's world, fluctuating commodity prices and mountainous stockpiles of recycled metals tell us that we have too much oil, uranium, coal, and iron ore. Today and in the foreseeable future, what the world is drastically scarce of is clean water, clean soil, and a common cultural legacy. Those remaining less than 0.1% of geophysicists not accounted for, above, are dedicated to developing techniques to explore for potable water, mapping soil salinization, demining previously productive agricultural land, and delineating subsurface remains of culturally rich sites threatened by development. With examples from Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East, we can see how these non-destructive subsurface investigation techniques can radically improve life not only on a local and regional scale, but even on a continent wide scale. And where we are not using these approaches, we can envision how the development of access to clean water, clean soil, and mankind's cultural legacies can be greatly improved. Speaker Profile Paul Bauman is the Technical Director of the Geophysics group at WorleyParsons, in Calgary, where he has been working since 1990. He is one of the world experts on near surface applications of borehole and surface geophysical methods as applied to investigations in water resources, archaeology, soil science, geotechnical engineering, subsurface contamination, and geohazard identification. Paul has a B.Sc.E. in Geological Engineering from Princeton University, a Minor in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton, and an M.Sc. in Earth Sciences from the University of Waterloo. Paul has published widely in peer reviewed journals, scientific volumes, and conference proceedings. He has presented geophysical papers at over 100 conferences in an extraordinarily wide range of disciplines including geophysics, soil science, hydrogeology, disaster relief, archaeology, water resource development, contaminant hydrogeology, mining, mine waste management, heavy oil, shallow gas, salt water intrusion, salt water intrusion, etc. He has been an invited speaker at many educational, professional, and government institutions including Princeton University, Boston University, California State, the University of Pennsylvania, the National Water Authority in Yemen, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem, the Royal BC Museum, and the Prince of Wales Northern Heritage Centre in Yellowknife. Aspects of his archaeogeophysical work have been the subject of a NOVA documentary (Ancient Refuge in the Holy Land), numerous radio and television interviews, a National Geographic movie entitled "Finding Atlantis," and numerous newspaper and magazine articles including in Time, National Geographic, and the Reader's Digest. Paul's work in the Cave of Letters and other sites is featured in the recently published popular books Secrets of the Cave of Letters: Rediscovering a Dead Sea Mystery; Digging Through the Bible: Modern Archaeology and the Ancient Bible; and Digging through History: Archaeology and Religion from Atlantis to the Holocaust. Ongoing archaeogeophysical projects include the subsurface imaging of a Roman bath house from the time of Jesus, located in Nazareth; the geophysical mapping of the ancient Phoenician harbour of Tel Akko, perhaps the first constructed harbour in the world; and the geophysical mapping of the destroyed and buried remains of a World War II Nazi extermination camp at Sobibor, Poland. A few water resource projects of note include the introduction of an entirely new approach to water exploration in Africa, which raised success rates in drilling from less than 20% to over 90% in Malawi; innovative and successful geophysical water exploration programs in Yemen which tapped previously unused aquifers in areas that had gone years without significant rainfall; and the secondment to UNICEF to assess the impact of the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami to the water resources of Aceh Province in Indonesia, and to begin the redevelopment and rehabilitation of water supplies to the region -- besides being an experienced geophysicist and hydrogeologist, Paul speaks fluent Indonesian and Malay.

Evolution Exposed: Deconstructing False Science

http://www.evanwiggs.com/articles/reasons.html In this video, presenting just a few major evidences that there are that demonstrates that evolution could not possible have taken place. Aware that many will violently reject such a conclusion, but this will not have any effect upon the facts that are presented. speaker of this video Have been speaking and writing against evolution since 1969, I fully aware that people do NOT accept well proven evidence if it conflicts with their present views. We all have a ''conceptual frame work'' that we have built up over years of experience, and ANYTHING that does not git into that framework, but simply due to a purely emotional reaction to any thought that does not fit their present view of what life is all about. enjoy the video.

Warburg Symposium Day 1- Classical & Renaissance Art

01:55:23
This two-day symposium explores Warburg's ideas and their adumbrations, e.g., his preoccupations with - and intuitions about - memory, both in relation to different forms of artistic creation and in anticipation of concepts related to neuroplasticity and neuroesthetics; the significance and fluency of the image - its elliptical and metaphoric functions - and of affect for the phenomena and qualia of chronology and memory, in concert with contemporary understanding of the dynamic unconscious; and the interdisciplinary mode of thought - the philosophical and art historical, cosmographic and historical - at the heart of Warburg's atlas. Schedule for Saturday, October 12th: 4:15 pm: Classical & Renaissance Art roundtable: Georges Didi-Huberman, Thomas DaCosta Kaufmann, François Quiviger, Dorothea Rockburne, and  Christopher Wood Georges Didi-Huberman, philosopher and art historian, teaches at the School for Advanced Studies in the Social Sciences (Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales) in Paris, where he has been a lecturer since 1990. He is a winner of the Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award for Writing on Art given by the College Art Association. Thomas DaCosta Kaufmann is Frederick Marquand Professor of Art and Archaeology, Princeton University. He received degrees from Yale, the Warburg Institute, and Harvard, and has been awarded honorary doctorates by the Technical University, Dresden, and the Masaryk University, Brno. The holder of the Palacký medal from the Czech Academy of Sciences, he is a member of the Swedish, Flemish, and Polish Academies of Science, and has been a Fellow of the American Academies in Berlin and Rome, among other honors and Fellowships. He is the author or editor of many books and articles on historiography, geography of art, art and science, Central European art and architecture 1450-1800, and global exchange in art.He is now writing about global exchange in art and world art history. François Quiviger took his Ph.D. from the Warburg Institute, London, where he works as  curator of digital resources, librarian, and researcher. He has written, taught, and curated projects on early modern European academies, on mythology and on Renaissance material culture, art and art theory. His recent book, The Sensory World of Italian Renaissance Art (London, Chicago 2010), explores the presence and function of sensation in Renaissance ideas and practices, investigating their link to mental imagery and how Renaissance artists made touch, sound, and scent palpable to the minds of their audience. Dorothea Rockburne was born in Montreal. She was educated at the Montreal Museum School and at Black Mountain College, where she studied with, among other contemporaries, Philip Guston and Franz Kline, as well as the German mathematician Max Dehn, whose teachings, merging the mathematical and natural worlds, provided her with new and complex approaches to her work. Her interests in the Golden Mean, astronomy, cosmology, and lifelong fascination with Egyptians' use of proportion and light, additionally shaped her oeuvre.Working with both industrial and natural materials, she paints, cuts, draws, folds and calculates to create complex works of art built upon mathematical foundations. Christopher Wood (A.B., Harvard 1983, Ph.D., Harvard 1991) has been teaching at Yale since 1992. He is currently Visiting Professor in the German Department, New York University, and has taught as a visitor at the University of California (Berkeley), Vassar College, and the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

How natural selection supports a recent creation -- Creation Magazine LIVE! (2-02)

Natural selection is erroneously used as evidence for the evolution of people from a single cell. Actually, new discoveries involving natural selection support Biblical creation and powerfully refute evolution. This episode explains why the changes scientists observe will never lead to the evolution of one kind of animal into another, regardless of how much time is available. The Creation Magazine LIVE! Carbon-14 Dating Disproves the Biblical Age?

06:24
For more info : http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/nab/does-c14-disprove-the-bible Scientists use a technique called radiometric dating to estimate the ages of rocks, fossils, and the earth. Many people have been led to believe that radiometric dating methods have proved the earth to be billions of years old. This has caused many in the church to reevaluate the Biblical creation account, specifically the meaning of the word "day" in Genesis 1. With our focus on one particular form of radiometric dating - carbon dating - we will see that carbon dating strongly supports a young earth.

Red Ice Radio - Harry Hubbard - Hour 1 - The Illinois Mystery Cave

01:05:54
Harry Hubbard has written, arranged, directed and produced over 20 videos for Alexander Helios, Inc. focused on various archaeological sites. He has also written several non-fiction books, reports and articles concerning the archaeological discovery in Marion County, Illinois. Harry will discuss the Illinois caves, first discovered in spring of 1925 by a local resident, Orville Lowery, of Hickory Hill, in the southeast corner of Marion County Illinois. In the first hour, Harry tells the story of how this discovery unfolded, the characters involved and how he arrived on the scene. Harry and fellow researchers were able to amass large quantities of information from the artifacts as to who the people were that constructed the "Illinois Mystery Cave" and the identities of the corpses who lay interred within it, which he'll talk about. We'll also discuss what others have found in the same area, actually called "Little Egypt." Harry comments on the mainstream archaeological community and the suppression of America's true history. In the second hour, we delve deep into what is depicted on the artifacts, including strange but highly detailed images of humanoids, aliens, UFOs and more. Harry explains how the language depicted on the artifacts was decoded, using L.A. Wadell's groundbreaking technique. Later, Harry continues on the cave saga and his pursuit. We end the hour speaking more about the Ptolemaic dynasty and why they may have fled, ultimately arriving in America. http://www.illinoiscaves.com/

The Other American Revolution: Archaeology and the Pueblo Revolt of 1680

01:16:45
Why is one of the most successful indigenous rebellions in the Americas nearly unknown? In 1680 the Pueblo Indians of New Mexico rose up against their European colonizers. For the next twelve years the Pueblos lived free from Spanish oppression, a period that proved crucial in the formation of the modern American Southwest. Why didn't we all learn about the Pueblo Revolt of 1680 in history class? Harvard anthropology professor Matthew J. Liebmann explains.

He had a photographic memory and often quoted ancient texts verbatim in their original languages during his lectures. The former dean of the Harvard Divinity School, George MacRae, once lamented while hearing him lecture, "It is obscene for a man to know that much!" Nibley was famous for his research into ancient documents dealing with religious practices and lifestyles and their relationship to modern religion. He became fluent in 12 languages because had to, as the texts he was studying had yet to be translated into English. This list includes Hebrew, Greek, Egyptian, Classical Latin, Coptic, Arabic, Russian, German, French, Dutch, Italian, and Spanish. He also studied Old Bulgarian, Old English, and Old Norse. Nibley's rigorous defense of Mormon scriptures earned him a worldwide reputation as a scholar. Nibley was praised by Evangelical scholars Carl Mosser and Paul Owen for his ability to draw upon respected historical, archaeological, and linguistic sources to provide strong support for Latter-day Saint beliefs. At the time of this Lecture series, Nibley was Professor Emeritus of Ancient Scripture at BYU, having retired in 1976. He can be viewed as the Godfather of LDS scholarship. He published 19 books and also published dozens of scholarly articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics without direct reference to Mormonism. Molecules , neurons and morality. Lecture by Prof. V.S. Ramachandran

01:33:46
This lecture by Prof. V.S. Ramachandran (University of California, San Diego) will deal with understanding higher brain functions through studies of synesthesia and other types of intersensory interactions, including discoveries of mirror neurons. http://www.glasgow.ac.uk/index.html?refer=guyoutube This year's prestigious University of Glasgow Gifford Lecture Series will feature three talks from V.S.

Lepenski Vir

03:57
Lepenski Vir - a Mesolithic site on the Iron Gates Gorge of the Danube Lepenski Vir is the name of the great whirlpool in the middle of Djerdap, the Iron Gates Gorge, and the nearby horseshoe shaped shelf between the right bank of the Danube and the steep cliffs of the Koršo hills. Lepenski Vir is a Mesolithic site - that means middle stone age, in this case 8 000 years before the present, after the ice had begun to melt from the glaciers which covered so much of the Northern Hemisphere. It is an open air site, not a rock shelter. It is noted for the trapezoidal houses which had one of the first types of concrete as their foundations. They inhabitants ate fish, aurochs, deer and water birds. Professor Dragoslav Srejović excavated the site of Lepenski Vir. The prehistoric settlement was built on the sunny right bank of the Danube, between the steep slopes of the Koršo hills and the spring high water mark on the low porphyritic rocks which stretch down to the river. Professor Dragoslav Srejović (1931 - 1996) discovered and excavated the sites of Lepenski Vir and Vlasać. Professor Dragoslav Srejović was born in 1931 at Kragujevac, Serbia. He studied at Belgrade University, taking his doctorate in archaeology in 1954. His doctoral thesis was written on the subject of Neolithic and Eneolithic Anthropomorphic Figurines in Yugoslavia, and was published in Belgrade in 1964. He became an Assistant Professor in 1958, Senior Lecturer in the University in 1966, and Professor of the Prehistory of the Balkan Peninsula in 1970. His excavations have included sites of the Neolithic, Bronze Age and Roman periods. Of special importance are his excavations from 1965 to 1971 in the area of the Iron Gates (Djerdap), where he discovered and excavated the sites of Lepenski Vir and Vlasać - two key settlements for the mesolithic and protoneolithic cultures in south-east Europe. He was a member of the Yugoslav Academy of Sciences and Arts, and published many articles in learned journals on Yugoslav archaeology, notably about the site of Lepenski Vir. Cucuteni Civilization - Trypillian Culture - History for Kids | Educational Videos by Mocomi

https://mocomi.com/ presents : Cucuteni Civilization - Trypillian Culture : Ancient European Civilizations - History Videos for Kids Watch this great video on the Cucuteni - Trypillian culture, an ancient European civilization. Cucuteni-Trypillian refers to an ancient civilization that flourished in the Carpathian mountains in modern day Romania, Moldova and Ukraine. That covers over 35,000 square kilometres, with over 15,000 people that lived there in settlements about 3-4 kilometres apart. It existed between 5,500 and 2,750 BC and was the largest settlement of the Neolithic period. People of this civilization were extremely advanced. They practiced animal husbandry, agriculture, and fishing in addition to hunting and gathering. Like in many earlier cultures, women did stay-at-home jobs like weaving, pottery, and more importantly, threshing and milling the grain and baking bread. While, the men made tools and hunted. Their settlements were built close to water bodies, mostly rivers and streams and some houses were two stories high. Common to other ancient civilizations, part of their houses were buried into the ground, to prevent invaders from easily spotting them and their dwellings. The Essene Christian Faith ~ The Untold Story of Christian Origins

57:34
Twitter: https://twitter.com/Darehl The Essene Christian Faith ~ The Untold Story of Christian Origins (Dead Sea Scrolls) "According to Thoth, the Essenes are a select group of Priest who initially came from Egypt. They were taught the secrets of the Universe by Akhenaten before his murder / disappearance during his 17 year rule. These men and women, of which there were 300 left Egypt in the middle of the night when Akhenaten disappeared. Taking their knowledge west. For many centuries little was known about these people. How the lived and what they believed was mostly lost. It is known that Jesus of Nazareth spent many years with the Essenes and it was thought that his teachings were his own until the written history of these ancient people were found. The "Dead Sea Scrolls" as they have come to be known are a confirmation of many of the stories in the bible. Giving historical and archaeological evidence to what some say is legend." http://freedomcode.com.au/ancient-knowledge/essenes/ Where Did Christianity Really Come From? by ROBERT FEATHER MIMMM "During my researches I have come across many further pieces of evidence that confirm a connection between a uniquely monotheistic pharaonic period (Akhenaten) in Egyptian history and the Essenes of Qumran, who lived a thousand years later and a thousand miles distant. As remarkable as this connection may appear to be, to date the relationship has been criticised but not refuted, and a number of eminent scholars have indicated that it begins to explain some anomalies in their own research." http://www.newdawnmagazine.com/articles/where-did-christianity-really-come-from THE ESSENE-CHRISTIAN FAITH http://essenechristianity.com/ Who Were the Essenes? http://www.essenespirit.com/who.html Essene and Christian Parallels and Commonalties http://www.thenazareneway.com/essene_and_christian_parallels.htm

Andrew Collins - The Cygnus Mystery

01:12:18
Andrew Collins discusses his book The Cygnus Mystery -- Unlocking the Ancient Secret of Life's Origins in the Cosmos. For 17,000 years the constellation of Cygnus, the celestial swan, otherwise known as the Northern Cross, has fascinated the world. It has defined the layout of ancient stone and earthern structures both in the new world and ancient world. Its cruciform star pattern is probably behind the root symbols of major religions, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Orphism. Cygnus might even have defined the placement on the ground of the Pyramids of Giza. Why has this one constellation had such an impact on humanity? The answers provided by Andrew are ground-breaking, suggesting that in addition to its importance as the marker of the north celestial pole 17,000 years ago, Cygnus's placement on the Milky Way made it easy to imagine as the destination of souls in death, and the centre of our cosmological universe. Beyond this is the sheer possibility that inbound cosmic rays from the Cygnus constellation might well have been influencing human evolution for tens of thousands of years, a fact somehow dimly recognised by our distant ancestors. http://www.andrewcollins.com/ The Cygnus Mystery documentary: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OhgNXbahNrA Many more interviews at http://www.legalise-freedom.com If you find this content interesting, please consider supporting my work with a donation http://legalise-freedom.com/make-a-donation/
