Turkish lira hits new record low against US dollar - economy

Political tensions, notably a high-level corruption scandal engulfing Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan's government are thought to have helped compound the latest slump. The drop marks another new record low against the dollar, with investors already concerned the country is ill-placed to cope with the US Federal Reserve raining in quantitative easing. Turkey has one of the biggest current account deficits of any major economy. The country's central bank has shied away, for the moment, from cutting interest rates, preferring to prop up the lira by selling Turkey's dollar reserves. How to Trade Forex Online 2014-Wow $1,191.59 In Profits In Less Than 5 Hours

13:44
Click here: http://clickthelinkhere.com/Binary-Matrix-Pro How to Trade Forex Online 2014-Wow $1,191.59 In Profits In Less Than 5 Hours Legend has it that Joseph Kennedy sold all the stock he owned the day before "Black Thursday," the start of the catastrophic 1929 stock market crash. Many investors suffered enormous losses in the crash, which became one of the hallmarks of the Great Depression. What made Kennedy sell? According to the story, he got a stock tip from a shoeshine boy. In the 1920s, the stock market was the realm of the rich and powerful. Kennedy thought that if a shoeshine boy could own stock, something must have gone terribly wrong. Now, plenty of "common" people own stock. Online trading has given anyone who has a computer, enough money to open an account and a reasonably good financial history the ability to invest in the market. You don't have to have a personal broker or a disposable fortune to do it, and most analysts agree that average people trading stock is no longer a sign of impending doom. The market has become more accessible, but that doesn't mean you should take online trading lightly. In this article, we'll look at the different types of online trading accounts, as well as how to choose an online brokerage, make trades and protect yourself from fraud. Review of Stocks & Markets Review of Stocks & Markets Before we look at the world of online trading, let's take a quick look at the basics of the stock market. If you've already read How Stocks and the Stock Market Work, you can go on to the next section. A share of stock is basically a tiny piece of a corporation. Shareholders -- people who buy stock -- are investing in the future of a company for as long as they own their shares. The price of a share varies according to economic conditions, the performance of the company and investors' attitudes. The first time a company offers its stock for public sale is called an initial public offering (IPO), also known as "going public." When a business makes a profit, it can share that money with its stockholders by issuing a dividend. A business can also save its profit or re-invest it by making improvements to the business or hiring new people. Stocks that issue frequent dividends are income stocks. Stocks in companies that re-invest their profits are growth stocks. Brokers buy and sell stocks through an exchange, charging a commission to do so. A broker is simply a person who is licensed to trade stocks through the exchange. A broker can be on the trading floor or can make trades by phone or electronically. An exchange is like a warehouse in which people buy and sell stocks. A person or computer must match each buy order to a sell order, and vice versa. Some exchanges work like auctions on an actual trading floor, and others match buyers to sellers electronically. Some examples of major stock exchanges are: • The New York Stock Exchange, which trades stocks auction-style on a trading floor • The NASDAQ, an electronic stock exchange • The Tokyo Stock Exchange, a Japanese stock exchange Worldwide Stock Exchanges has a list of major exchanges. Over-the-counter (OTC) stocks are not listed on a major exchange, and you can look up information on them at the OTC Bulletin Board or PinkSheets. When you buy and sell stocks online, you're using an online broker that largely takes the place of a human broker. You still use real money, but instead of talking to someone about investments, you decide which stocks to buy and sell, and you request your trades yourself. Some online brokerages offer advice from live brokers and broker-assisted trades as part of their service. If you need a broker to help you with your trades, you'll need to choose a firm that offers that service. We'll look at other qualities to look for in an online brokerage next. trade forex, how to trade forex, trading forex, forex trading, currency trading, how to trade options, foreign exchange trading, online forex trading, how to trade, free online trading, options trading, forex trading platforms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRVBMm9nYes

Trade Middle East Currencies

04:17
http://www.theforexnittygritty.com/forex/trade-middle-east-currencies Trade Middle East Currencies By www.TheForexNittyGritty.com Is now the time to trade Middle East currencies? The region is in a turmoil which typically leads to currency volatility. Wars raging in Syria, Iraq, Libya essentially make these countries failed states. So is the only choice to flee to safe haven currencies? Forex exchange trading can be the most profitable in times of high volatility and it can also be the most dangerous. First of all what are the currencies most likely to be affected by events in the Middle East as well as North Africa? Trade Middle East Currencies The Middle East encompasses a majority of Western Asia excluding the Caucasus and Egypt. These are the nations of the region, their currencies and currency symbols. We have added Libya as it lies next to Egypt and is part of the chaos that currency plagues the Middle East. For a comprehensive list of Middle East currencies, visit www.TheForexNittyGritty.com. Libya is a major oil producer. Its currency commonly trades close to the value of the US dollar. Despite the overthrow of the Kaddafi government and civil unrest the value of the Libyan Dinar had been rising in the eighty-two cent range and then took a fall with the current fighting. Nevertheless, it appears that the strength of the oil driven economy is such that traders are not bailing out of the Libyan Dinar. The Egyptian pound has historically traded at about a sixth of the USD. Since the overthrow of the Morsi regime the pound fell to 1 EGP = 14 cents. But the strong military government seems to be bringing calm to currency markets and the EGP is currently stable. One Syrian pound is currency worth 67/100 of a US cent. Five years ago before the country fell apart in civil war one Syrian pound was worth 2.25 cents. The value of the SYP could fall father if the civil war worsens and the Islamic Caliphate takes over the region covering eastern Syria and western Iraq. Iraq’s currency used to trade one IQD = 9/100 of a cent five years ago and the lowest it has traded in five years is one IQD = 8/100 of a cent. Its price curve is very irregular consistent with a thinly traded currency. The Saudi Arabia currency, the SAR, routinely trades at 1 SAR = 27 cents. The fact that Saudi Arabia is one of the world’s major oil producers is likely why this currency remains so stable. And there is no war directly on Saudi borders. Despite the war in Gaza the Israeli new shekel has been going up from 25 cents in mid 2012 to more than 29 cents today. Intraday trading has been up to $0.2926 and down to $0.2911. If you are going to trade foreign currencies in the Middle East for a profit there is intraday variation much like that of the Israeli new shekel. And there is the risk that any of these currencies could bottom out in response to current events. The nations that are most at risk to see their currencies plunge seem to be Iraq, Syria and Libya. Cyprus is spared the troubles in local currency markets as it uses the Euro, which has its own set of problems and its own potential for profit. http://youtu.be/81z3q6akwRk

Wall Street's Cryptocurrency Headquarters: Inside Bitcoin Center NYC

03:16
"I was in college, and now instead of going to college I'm doing Bitcoin," says Louis Parker, an entrepreneur who has set up shop at the Bitcoin Center NYC, a cavernous storefront in lower Manhattan's financial district that's become a central gathering spot for New York City's cryptocurrency traders, programmers, and enthusiasts. "There's no college class on Bitcoin, except in Cyprus, and I wasn't ready to move there," he says. Every Monday night, the Bitcoin community holds a meet up called Satoshi Square, named in honor of Satoshi Nakamoto, the mysterious creator of Bitcoin, in which traders exchange virtual currencies for U.S. dollars. Before Satoshi Square relocated to the Bitcoin Center NYC a couple weeks ago, it was held in the shopping aisles of a Whole Foods grocery store on the Lower East Side. Why convert Bitcoins to dollars in person when it's simple to do so on the web? For one thing, online trades require a bank account, which some Bitcoin users lack. Trading in person also reduces transaction fees and enables haggling. "There's a lot of benefits to coming together on an exchange," says Scott Tuddenham, who helps manage the order book during Satoshi Square. "Commerce has been conducted in city centers since the beginning of time," he says. The cofounder of the Bitcoin Center NYC is Nick Spanos, a tech entrepreneur and the owner of the New York City real estate brokerage firm Bapple. He says his interest in Bitcoin and other virtual currencies is partly driven by concern that over printing of money by the U.S. government could lead to runaway inflation. "Maybe people just by learning about Bitcoin will slowdown the dollars being printed as an educational function of its existence," says Spanos. About 3.15 minutes. Produced by Jim Epstein and hosted by Naomi Brockwell. Russian Pres. Putin confident of currency stabilization

03:30
Russia says its national currency will soon stabilize although the Ruble has lost nearly a quarter of its value so far this year. Putin was addressing the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Beijing. He blamed the speculation in money market for the Ruble's recent plunge to dollar and euro. The Russian president assured international investors that the Ruble's fall has nothing to do with his country's economic situation. Also, the Russian Central Bank has stopped intervening in Ruble's price letting the currency to fall freely. The bank says it would intervene only if Russia's financial stability was threatened. Ruble has climbed to 45.7 for the dollar and more than 57 for the euro. CURRENCY of the FUTURE?! World's First BITCOIN ATM in Cyprus [INFOWARS - Nightly News]

03:41
While European politicos negotiate in Brussels, deciding the fate of other people's money in Cyprus, the free market has already moved in to help Cypriots get access to their money via other means... Banks have been closed for the last week in Cyprus and if they do re-open on Tuesday, it has now been announced that daily withdrawal limits at ATMs will be 100 euros per day. As the Cypriot Drama unfolds before our very eyes, I began pondering what tangible solutions there are to bank holidays and bank runs. What could I do to help in Cyprus and all other countries (like Spain, Greece and Italy) for which, as we have predicted at TDV, bank closures are coming? The answer wasn't hard to come up with. If these people had simply bought bitcoins with their savings, not only would they currently have 100% access to their funds, but also they would have enjoyed a parabolic move to the upside over past months. -... AN ENTREPRENEUR has announced he is keen to introduce in Cyprus the world's first ATM for virtual currency, bitcoin, which is not regulated by a central bank but has instead been growing via its online peer-to-peer community. Jeff Berwick, founder of StockHouse.com and CEO of TDV Media said on his blog on dollarvigilante.com that he plans to set up the world's first Bitcoin ATM in Cyprus to enable people to deposit flat currency into it and get bitcoins in their account, as well as put bitcoins in their account and get flat currency back. Bitcoin, which was designed and implemented by a mysterious programmer known by the pseudonym of "Satoshi Nakatomo," is based on a peer-to-peer network similar to the BitTorrent protocol for sharing files over the internet, the European Central Bank (ECB)has said in an October 2012 report on virtual currency schemes. It can be used as currency for a number of transactions, from internet services and online services to buying clothes, electronic goods, while a small number of restaurants, hotels and retail stores across the world do accept bitcoins. With restrictions likely in place when the banks do reopen, Berwick said he "began pondering what tangible solutions there (were) to bank holidays and bank runs." "If these people had simply bought bitcoins with their savings, not only would they currently have 100 per cent access to their funds, but also they would have enjoyed a parabolic move to the upside over past months," Berwick said. The currency is not pegged, with supply and demand determining the exchange rate. People need to download a free and open-source software to start using bitcoins that can be purchased using a currency, and are then stored in a digital wallet on users' computers or via online services. Transactions are not restricted by a Central Bank, are faster, and cheaper or free. Although users are drawn to the currency for transaction privacy and anonymity, the system has been criticised for being vulnerable to cyberattacks or for being attractive as an alternative currency to fund illegal activities. The ECB said in its report that it considered bitcoin "as a high-risk system for its users from a financial perspective" citing a number of issues that "raise serious concerns regarding the legal status and security of the system, as well as the finality and irrevocability of the transactions, in a system which is not subject to any public oversight". On the other hand, Berwick said that individuals have suffered "through the confiscation and devaluation of their savings through techniques like taxes, levies and inflation" by the ECB, the International Monetary Fund, and the German Federal Government. "I am convinced bitcoin will be the currency of the future... and all the attacks on it by governments and central banks shows they know it," Berwick said. finance yahoo, how to finance your money, finance 101, finance 101 wharton, finance 101 lecture, finance 1, personal finance 101, finance 240 sdsu, finance 201, finance 2014, finance 2, bitcoin finance 2014, finance 301, finance 5 program, finance 5, american economy animation, american economy collapse, american economy collapse 2014, when will american economy collapse, american economy documentary, american economy explained, american economy history, american economy may 2014, american economy shrinks, american economy today, how the american economy works, american economy 1950s, american economy 2014, global economy animation, global economic collapse, global economy documentary, global economy explained, global economy journal, global economy kagundu, global economy mean, global economy news, global economy outlook, global economy pdf, global economy ryan harvey, global economy reset, how does the global economy work, global economy zimmer, global economy 2014,

C/U Broken exchange rate board SCRIPT: Cyprus: Cypriots empty ATM machines after proposed tax levy As banks remain closed in Cyprus due to the national holiday, inhabitants of Nicosia rush to ATMS to withdraw their money after hearing about a European Union bailout on Saturday, 16 March. The Cypriot government was to decide later today, March 17, whether to seize up to 10% of deposits held in national banks however the debate and vote has been postponed until tomorrow. The 10 billion EU bailout deal was agreed between the newly elected government of Cyprus and the so-called Troika, consisting of the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The deal proposes that people with less than 100,000 EU in their accounts will pay a 6.75% tax. Those who earn more than the 100,000 EU threshold, will have to pay 9.9%. Cyprus will be the first country in the eurozone to finance their bailout by putting a tax levy on people's savings. Hasan Abul, inhabitant of Nicosia, expressed his feelings by stating: "I definitely am angry because they didn't give us any notification, what will happen with the rest of the amount?" Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades gave a televised address on Sunday night by explaining that the levy on bank deposits was a necessary measure to prevent the country from exiting the euro zone, which would result in total bankruptcy for Cyprus.

The euro (sign: €; code: EUR) is the currency used by the Institutions of the European Union and is the official currency of the eurozone, which consists of 18 of the 28 member states of the European Union: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.[3][4] Lithuania is adopting the euro as its official currency in place of the lithuanian litas on 1 January 2015.[5] The currency is also officially used by a further four European countries, and unilaterally by two others, and is consequently used daily by some 334 million Europeans as of 2013.[6] Outside of Europe, a number of overseas territories of EU members also use the euro as their currency. Additionally, 210 million people worldwide as of 2013—including 182 million people in Africa—use currencies pegged to the euro. The euro is the second largest reserve currency as well as the second most traded currency in the world after the United States dollar.[7][8][9] As of August 2014, with more than €995 billion in circulation, the euro has the highest combined value of banknotes and coins in circulation in the world, having surpassed the U.S. dollar.[note 14] Based on International Monetary Fund estimates of 2008 GDP and purchasing power parity among the various currencies, the eurozone is the second largest economy in the world.[10] The name euro was officially adopted on 16 December 1995.[11] The euro was introduced to world financial markets as an accounting currency on 1 January 1999, replacing the former European Currency Unit (ECU) at a ratio of 1:1 (US$1.1743). Physical euro coins and banknotes entered into circulation on 1 January 2002, making it the day-to-day operating currency of its original members.[12] While the euro dropped subsequently to US$0.8252 within two years (26 October 2000), it has traded above the U.S. dollar since the end of 2002, peaking at US$1.6038 on 18 July 2008.[13] Since late 2009, the euro has been immersed in the European sovereign-debt crisis which has led to the creation of the European Financial Stability Facility as well as other reforms aimed at stabilising the currency. In July 2012, the euro fell below US$1.21 for the first time in two years, following concerns raised over Greek debt and Spain's troubled banking sector.[14] As of November 2014, the euro–dollar exchange rate stands at ~ US$1.25.[15] dollar to euro Contact: Christos Pittis website: www.christospittis.com https://www.udemy.com/u/christospittis/ twitter: https://twitter.com/CPITTIS facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/christoscpittis email: [email protected] https://www.udemy.com/u/christospittis/ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClqulZeiMIfgPv_LirylA0g/videos

BITCOIN ATM Launches in EUROPE - Is This the FUTURE for BITCOIN?

Bitcoin exchange Safello will unveil Sweden's first bitcoin ATM next week, after announcing their work on the Lamassu machine just three weeks ago. The ATM will be on display next Monday at Stockholm's STHLM TECH Meetup -- converting users' cash into bitcoin and depositing it in their wallet addresses. For now, the machine is operating in Safello's office while the company puts the finishing touches to its service. It will move to a more permanent location soon. "We are in discussion with a big mall in the centre of Stockholm. We aim to cooperate with them for the first ATM deployment," said Frank Schuil, CEO and co-founder of Safello. He added: When the company originally described their ATM, Stockholm mall Gallarian was cited as a target. Safello will be operating the ATM, which will be owned by 19-year-old bitcoin entrepreneur Ludvig Oberg, an angel investor in the company. Oberg and Safello will share revenue from the machine. Schuil says the financial authority in Sweden sees bitcoin as a "high-risk event", requesting additional KYC (Know Your Customer) Manufactured by Lamassu, the bitcoin ATM cost $5,000 to build (this includes the Google Nexus tablet used for its display). Safello is moving quickly to market bitcoin. The company was founded in July, and its online trading site only went live back in August. It began promoting its plans for an ATM in mid-November. So far, ATMs have seen great success: bringing bitcoin into the public arena in a way that wasn't possible before. Canada's first ATM, developed by US-based firm Robocoin, took over $1m in its first month of operation in a Vancouver coffee shop. europe world's first Bitcoin ATM. On its 29th day of operation at the Waves Coffee House in Vancouver B.C., Robocoin's Bitcoin ATM exceeded $1,000,000 CAD in volume from 1,576 transactions. Operated by Las Vegas-based Robocoin and Vancouver-based Bitcoiniacs, the ATM scans your palm and allows you to exchange cash for Bitcoin, or do the reverse. Bitcoins exist only online, can be transferred right away and are not controlled by a central authority like the Federal Reserve. Here in Seattle, a Seattle grilled cheese foodtruck is now accepting Bitcoin. Meanwhile, a university in Cyprus just announced that it is now accepting Bitcoin for tuition fees. A number of Bitcoin investors and cryptocurrency enthusiasts have teamed up to create a "Bitcoin Black Friday," where hundreds of retailers and charities, including OkCupid, an online dating service, City Wine Cellar, Reddit and GOOD Magazine, which promotes progress, will accept the currency on Black Friday. Exchange rate

16:48
In finance, an exchange rate (also known as a foreign-exchange rate, forex rate, FX rate or Agio) between two currencies is the rate at which one currency will be exchanged for another. It is also regarded as the value of one country’s currency in terms of another currency. For example, an interbank exchange rate of 91 Japanese yen (JPY, ¥) to the United States dollar (US$) means that ¥91 will be exchanged for each US$1 or that US$1 will be exchanged for each ¥91. Exchange rates are determined in the foreign exchange market, which is open to a wide range of different types of buyers and sellers where currency trading is continuous: 24 hours a day except weekends, i.e. trading from 20:15 GMT on Sunday until 22:00 GMT Friday. The spot exchange rate refers to the current exchange rate. The forward exchange rate refers to an exchange rate that is quoted and traded today but for delivery and payment on a specific future date. In the retail currency exchange market, a different buying rate and selling rate will be quoted by money dealers. Most trades are to or from the local currency. The buying rate is the rate at which money dealers will buy foreign currency, and the selling rate is the rate at which they will sell the currency. The quoted rates will incorporate an allowance for a dealer's margin (or profit) in trading, or else the margin may be recovered in the form of a "commission" or in some other way. Different rates may also be quoted for cash (usually notes only), a documentary form (such as traveler's cheques) or electronically (such as a debit card purchase). The higher rate on documentary transactions is due to the additional time and cost of clearing the document, while the cash is available for resale immediately. Some dealers on the other hand prefer documentary transactions because of the security concerns with cash. This video is targeted to blind users. MAX KEISER & ALEX JONES talks about BITCOIN - Is Cryptocurrency the FUTURE?

Alex and Max Keiser continue on the topic of rigged global markets and fiat currency vs bitcoin. Imagine a world in which you can buy anything in secret. No banks. No fees. No worries inflation will make today's money worth less tomorrow. The digital currency Bitcoin promises all these things. And while it's far from achieving any of them — its value is unstable and it's rarely used — some have high hopes. "There will be alternatives to the dollar, and this might be one of them," said former U.S. congressman Ron Paul. If people start using bitcoins en masse, "it'll go down in history as the destroyer of the dollar," Paul added. Bitcoin hit a new milestone today, passing the $1,000 mark for the first time. The virtual currency is currently trading above the four-digit figure, with its highest at $1,030 on Mt. Gox, one of the largest exchanges. Last week, Bitcoin's high for the day was $632. That means its trading value has surged 62.83 percent in a week, assuming we're looking at just its high points. That figure could of course rise even further if Bitcoin continues to push further up throughout the day. That's certainly possible; in the last month or so, the virtual currency seems to have seen no bounds. At the same time, it has also fluctuated quite a bit: less than three weeks ago it was still in the $200 range. Federal officials announced the largest-ever seizure of bitcoins on Friday night, securing $28 million worth of the digital currency from the alleged owner of the online drug marketplace Silk Road. Bitcoin, which allows users to conduct online transactions while obscuring their identities, was the only currency accepted on Silk Road. Law enforcement officials arrested the site's alleged proprietor, Ross Ulbricht, earlier this month, and have shuttered the operation. Bitcoin has been in the news a ton and it's possible to mine it on your Mac. But unless you purchase dedicated mining hardware (which is expensive) Bitcoin mining isn't cost-effective. A better choice is Litecoin. basics of Bitcoin (BTC) and its easier-to-mine competitor, Litecoin (LTC). Since investing in dedicated Bitcoin mining hardware (ASICs) I've mostly ignored other competing crypto-currencies until now. Although Bitcoin is the media darling, Litecoin is a better option for the average user wanting to get into crypto-currency mining. As I mention in my mining post, Bitcoin mining isn't cost effective without expensive, dedicated mining hardware. However Litecoin, the second largest crypto-currency by market cap, is exponentially easier to mine with the Mac that you're reading this on right now. And at around US$30/LTC, it's more affordable to outright purchase too. Bitcoin Before I get into Litecoin a brief history of Bitcoin (BTC) is in order. For background I recommend the original paper (PDF) by Satoshi Nakamoto proposing Bitcoin. bitcoin litecoin cryptocurrency "max keiser" anonymous "jp morgan chase" patent system "mine bitcoin" 2014 encryption revolution u.s. The idea behind "mining" coins as a way to validate transactions and at the same time reward early adopters was brilliant. It quickly strengthened the network and took care of distributing coins to interested parties. Mined coins on the network are distributed to whomever presents the solution first. As soon as it got competitive, people started mining pools whereby the pool instead presents the winning solution to the network, receives the reward, and redistributes to everyone in the pool. Most people prefer this since they'll at least receive something. For Bitcoin mining, if your computer can do this calculation faster than anyone else, you represent a greater share of the work going towards each solution. However, the rate of coins being distributed is roughly constant, so more people involved means less for everyone participating.

4/3/14 - Texas Banking Memo, China, Colombia, Vietnam, BitPay & PayStand

03:55
http://www.moneyandtech.com/apr3-news-update/ Here is your summary of today's top news stories in Money & Tech: The Texas Department of Banking released a Supervisory Memorandum outlining its policies on virtual currencies, in terms of the Texas Money Services Act. Saying that: "The Exchange of one cryptocurrency for another cryptocurrency is not money transmission." And that "Because cryptocurrency is not money or monetary value, the receipt of it in exchange for a promise to make it available at a later time or different location is not money transmission. This includes intermediaries who receive cryptocurrency for transfer to a third party, and entities who, akin to depositories, hold cryptocurrency on behalf of customers." Check out http://www.moneyandtech.com/ for our interview with Patrick Murck, General Counsel of the Bitcoin Foundation for his interpretation of the news out of Texas. Most of the major bitcoin exchanges in China have begun suspending payment services in response to the central bank's directive. BTC China announced Wednesday that it has suspended dealings with its payment provider Yijingdong. Huobi, OKCoin and FXBTC have likewise received notices from their financial partners and are halting customer deposits. And as we reported Wednesday, BTC38 will be suspending all bank transfers and fiat-to-crypto trading. But they aren't giving up yet. Bloomberg today quoted OKCoin saying, "We have prepared an emergency plan ahead of the April 15 deadline and will launch an overseas version soon. Please don't doubt us." BitPay reported Wednesday that they have opened yet another office in Amsterdam, and are adding another board member as well. Given how quickly they are growing, it's no surprise that they've also reportedly initiated another funding raise, this time aiming for $20 to $30 million. Watch our recent interview with BitPay CEO Tony Gallippi to learn more about their payment services and plans for growth. Swedish bitcoin exchange Safello is making a strong move to establish itself as Europe's leading bitcoin exchange, offering instant, direct payments from 86 European banks in 11 countries. The Banco Central de Colombia released their much-anticipated official statement on Tuesday, confirming that bitcoin is not considered a currency or means of legal tender in Colombia. That said, members of the local Colombian digital currency community are still optimistic, viewing this statement as a first step in relations with regulators. Online payment service PayStand has opened up from its private beta to offer payment processing in bitcoin, e-checks and credit cards to more online merchants for a monthly fee. VBTC, the first online Vietnam Bitcoin Digital Currency exchange, has been condemned as illegal by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which claims that Bitcoin is not a commodity or a service in current Vietnamese legal documents. Bitcoin Vietnam and Bit2C, the companies behind the exchange, counter that Bitcoin was never banned in Vietnam. Yet despite the nebulous regulatory landscape, bitcoin adoption has continued to grow among businesses and individuals in Vietnam, which will hopefully force more clarity on the subject soon. 18 of Europe's top kickboxers will go head-to-head this Saturday in the first Bitcoin Fight Night, competing in London's iconic O2 venue for a prize of 5,000 pounds in bitcoin. Among the matchups will be a celebrity bout with broadcaster and bitcoin enthusiast Max Keiser. And before the fights commence, the venue will host a free bitcoin meetup, featuring a panel debate titled 'How Bitcoin Can Fight Back Against the Hackers'. Following a successful CoinSummit, we got to sit down with organizer Pamir Gelenbe one more time to recap and reflect on the event. Find that interview, and a list of all of our CoinSummit coverage, on our website soon. Watch this episode on the Money & Tech website at http://www.moneyandtech.com/apr3-news-update/

What Is an International Driving Permit? The International Driving Permit (IDP) is a document that grants someone the privilege of driving a motor vehicle legally while abroad. It does not replace your government-issued driver’s license. Essentially, an IDP serves as a basic translation of your driver's license. It is translated in 10 languages and features your: Photo. Full name. Relevant driver information. The following requirements and restrictions apply: You must carry both your IDP and your driver’s license when driving abroad. You must obtain your IDP in the same country that issued your driver’s license. You can never use your IDP to drive in the country in which it was issued. It is valid for up to 1 year (provided your driver’s license is valid for the full year). International Driver’s License vs. International Driving Permit You may hear the term “international driver’s license” or “IDL” used; however, this is an incorrect reference to the international driving permit. When You Need an IDP Many countries require drivers from other nations to hold an international driving permit to drive within their borders. Showing an IDP in these countries can prevent legal hassles such as fines and bail fees if you are stopped or in an accident and are unable to show proof of your eligibility to drive. Note that while not all countries require IDPs, you might find it helpful to obtain one anyway. It serves as extremely useful identification because it is translated into 10 languages, so it can prevent communication issues during the process of ID checks. continue here: http://www.dmv.org/international-driver-permits.php keywords: how to get, how to obtain, us resident, uk resident, English, where to, get, world licence, lic, DL, drivers license, driving permit, drivers permit,

CWMFX Daily Market Report 10 Sep 2014

Fresh lows on both EUR/USD, AUD/USD and Scottish Referendum causing movement on GBP/USD. Hello good morning and welcome to CWM FX markets report, coming to you directly from London, Heron Tower 36th floor. Today 10th September 2014. We’re going to focus on Australian dollar this morning. We saw a drop to 6 months low against it’s US counterpart and this came from the back of very weak consument centre data out of Australia. Now an Asian trade we saw the Australian dollar US dollar hit it’s lows of 0.9156, however it retraced by 0.47%. Now in UK trade we saw a touch another low of 0.9126 so a key instrument to look out for for the rest of the training day. Now coming closer to home we’ve got the Scottish Independent Referendum on us at the moment and you’ve seen Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour leader Ed Miliband abandoned the weekly Prime Minister’s questions to hit up North to vote for the campaign –no. Now of the back of these obviously strong sell-offs you’ve seen the cable hits 1.60520. So we’re looking closer to the Eurozone now as well and we’ve seen Euro touch of psychological level of 1.29. Now this is 14th month support level and we’ve seen investors taking break from selling off the single currency. So the assets I want you to focus on for today: Australian dollar vs US dollar, the cable which is the GBP/ USD and also the EUR/USD as well . Now don’t forget to contact your account manager at CWM FX and always trade smart. Peter Schiff on BULLION BANKS, and the Hidden Trove of QE Money [PRIME INTEREST E024]

28:00
Peter Schiff on BULLION BANKS, and the Hidden Trove of QE Money [PRIME INTEREST E024] Subscribe here for more Max Keiser & Financial crisis news: Here's what's in your Prime Interest today: The world's most powerful monetary manipulator, Chairman Ben Bernanke, told Princeton grads over the weekend to "Call your Mom and Dad, once in a while." He also said "If your uniform isn't dirty, you haven't been in the game." Well, after four and a half years of near-zero-interest-rate-policy -- aka money printing -- we're afraid to see just how dirty the Chairman's uniform is at this point. But don't worry. After channeling poet Robert Burns and Forrest Gump, the Chairman closed -- in Truman-esque fashion: "Give 'em hell." And that's about what we can expect once the Fed "tapers" away the punch bowl. Perianne talks about the Fed and gold with Peter Schiff. And Prime Interest Producer, Justine Underhill presents a chart to explain just exactly what the Fed has been doing vis a vis QE. Also, in the US, the big banks have had to submit "living wills" to regulators -- basically, a blueprint for their wind-down should they become insolvent -- or, more insolvent, we guess. But the central bank of central banks, which is the Bank for International Settlements, just came out with its own plan for how to deal with too-big-to-fail. It's "simple," they say. Just let the creditors and depositors take losses -- a la Cyprus -- and force the creditors to recapitalize a new banking entity. This presupposes the creditors have the money to do this. After all, if a too-big-to-fail bank goes down, we're assuming all is not well in the land of Oz. commodity price inflation forex currency trading fx currency trading euro converter exchange euros money currency currency rate currency converters money rate currency credit credit consolidation credit credit the capital card credit creditcard debit how do i get a credit report credit history report debit card credit rating investment capital capital investment free credit report credit line capital mortgage financial news cibc mortgage rates obama mortgage relief mortgage protection stock exchange what is apr online gold trading forex gold gold trade trade gold gold mine price of silver gold future gold funds keiser max kaiser forex investment investment forex online investment account bank how to investment funds bonds savings investments invest mutual fund mutual funds commodities hedge fund investment banking property investment investment banks finance yahoo, how to finance your money, finance 101, finance 101 wharton, finance 101 lecture, finance 1, personal finance 101, finance 240 sdsu, finance 201, finance 2014, finance 2, bitcoin finance 2014, finance 301, finance 5 program, finance 5, american economy animation, american economy collapse, american economy collapse 2014, when will american economy collapse, american economy documentary, american economy explained, american economy history, american economy may 2014, american economy shrinks, american economy today, how the american economy works, american economy 1950s, american economy 2014, global economy animation, global economic collapse, global economy documentary, global economy explained, global economy journal, global economy kagundu, global economy mean, global economy news, global economy outlook, global economy pdf, global economy ryan harvey, global economy reset, how does the global economy work, global economy zimmer, global economy 2014,

4/4/14 - Neo & Bee, Cryptorush fraud, BTC China, eBay, M-Pesa to Romania

03:46
http://www.moneyandtech.com/apr4-news-update/ Catch up with today's top news stories in Money & Tech: Police are now investigating two customer's fraudulent claims against bitcoin company Neo & Bee, as concern grows around the absence of CEO Danny Brewster. The two police reports involve the purchases of digital currency with Neo & Bee to the tune of 35,000 euros which were never honored by the company. Also, despite having claimed that threats were made against his family, police have noted that Brewster never filed any formal complaints. Shanghai-based exchange BTC China has published a statement reassuring Chinese investors that its operations will resume despite looming regulatory uncertainty, confirming that they have yet to actually receive any official word from the People's Bank of China. Payment platform Moolah has accused digital currency exchange Cryptorush of fraud, claiming the companies mostly anonymous management have been aiding the fraud of the exchange's users by pumping and dumping certain coins, and offering a questionable in-house coin CryptoRushShares to pay back users who have suffered significant losses. After revolutionizing banking in Africa, Vodafone is expanding its M-Pesa mobile money service into the Eastern Europe market, starting with Romania. Less than one third of Romania's seven million people have access to conventional banking. But now Vodaphone users in the country will be able to transfer money via text messaging at participating retail outlets and through authorised agents. The Bulgarian National Revenue Agency released new tax guidelines for digital currencies Thursday, which states that a typical 10% capital gains tax will be applied to all income earned from the sale of digital currencies such as bitcoin. The new NRA guidance does not require taxpayers to submit any documentation verifying their bitcoin trading income, which could open the door for money laundering practices. The Sacramento Kings NBA Franchise, which became the first professional US sports team to accept bitcoin this past January, has now also launched their bitcoin-only online marketplace KingsBitcoin.com, where Kings fans can now buy gear, merchandise and tickets for bitcoin. Following suit, Californian soccer team, the San Jose Earthquakes, will also start accepting bitcoin payments with BitPay for merchandise and tickets in their upcoming season. And the Chicago Sun-Times has partnered with Coinbase to become the first US newspaper to accept bitcoin payments, allowing readers to pay for subscriptions with the digital currency. eBay has added a new category for 'Virtual Currency' on its popular online auction site in the US. Consumers can now browse through listings for dozens of bitcoin and altcoin-related activities, such as mining hardware, and even per-gigahash shares in mining operations. EBay is still not accepting BitCoin as payment, but as PayPal President David Marcus has said previously they are "kind of thinking about it". Virtual currency marketplace, the Bitcoin Shop, announced Thursday that is has begun accepting dogecoin on its ecommerce platform. Shoppers can now search through over 140,000 products in over 400 categories to purchase with either bitcoin, litecoin or dogecoin. And tonight in Los Angeles, Meltdown Comics will be hosting a donation-based party just for Dogecoiners. Such party. Much charity! We interviewed Bitcoin core developer Mike Hearn earlier this month about some of upcoming changes to the BitcoinJ protocol. [101] Euro Politics behind Greek Bond Sale w/Yanis Varoufakis & Fed Policy w/Tim Duy

27:59
Our lead story: Lawmakers are looking to crackdown on high frequency trading. In the European Union, regulators are poised to approve some of the toughest restrictions yet. Meanwhile, here in the U-S. The world's largest futures market, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, is being sued by three of its users who allege that the company sold high speed traders access to information ahead of other market participants. Erin takes a look. We sit down with Economist Yanis Varoufakis for his view on the Greek bond sale and the future of the European recovery. He argues things are terrible in Greece, and that these bonds are de-coupled from the rest of Greece's debt. Then we move onto Economist and blogger Tim Duy who gives his take on the Fed and Fed policy. Finally, in today's Big Deal, Edward Harrison and Erin look at frothiness in the tech world. How bubbly is the market? Or is it bubbly at all? Don't miss it!
