🔴CHINA STOCK MARKET CRASH 2019| China's Stock Market Crash Explained🔴
CHINA STOCK MARKET CRASH 2019| Global Trade War. Today I would like to discuss the Chinese stock market crash-and huge market moving news we have upcoming next week. China has set a date for a new round of talks between the United States and China aimed at ending a trade war that is spooking global markets. China will be meeting with US Deputy trade representative Jeffrey Gerrish on January 7-8 in Beijing. It’s impossible to know what the outcome will be in these trade negotiations, but this will without a doubt me a market moving event that we must be aware of. Now keeping that in mind why are Chinese stocks collapsing? Idea #1-Share prices reflect not only today, but the the future. With the ongoing trade war between the United States and China investors have become incredibly concerned about a a huge slowdown in economic growth in China. Idea #2 to consider- How will tariffs impact consumer spending and buying power? The fear is that people in China are going to have significantly less income the direct result of the ongoing trade disputes between the United States and China. Idea #3 Investors have become very concerned about Chinese companies profitability. One of the key reasons Chinese stocks are crashing is because investors are questioning these companies spending sprees. Are companies in China unnecessarily spending billions of dollars quarter after quarter to diversify into businesses that won’t pay off over the long term? Or will these investments translate into massive profits over the long term? Trump, who campaigned in 2016 on cracking down on what he called Chinese trade abuses, came into the G20 summit with a specific set of demands. He wanted to address alleged Chinese theft of intellectual property, forced technology transfers, ownership of American companies in China, and tariffs and nontariff barriers, among other issues. Intellectual Property China must stop forcing transfer of U.S. technology. Many U.S. companies are compelled to establish joint ventures with Chinese-owned companies, which are designed so that China can gain technological know-how. A senior Chinese official recently admitted as much, stating: “China’s offer to the world has been straightforward: Foreign companies are allowed to access China’s markets, but they need to contribute something in return: their technology.” But that’s precisely wrong. Under the deal China signed with the WTO, foreign companies get access to Chinese markets in exchange for China’s firms enjoying access to other nations’ markets — not their technology. Trump should insist that China immediately abandon forced joint-venture and technology-transfer requirements. China currently limits access to its markets in a wide array of sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, cloud computing and other information-technology industries, and entertainment. A real world example: Costco is in the process of opening a Costco in Shanghai. China forces companies interested in expanding in China to share all of their trade secrets/businesses practices to replicate their intellectual property for themselves. Visa, and Google who have sought on and off over the years to expand in China, and yet again these companies are forced to “partner” with Chinese firms. We have to ask ourselves is this fair? Should United States companies be forced to share their intellectual property (all of the inner workings” of their underlying businesses in order to conduct business in China? This is a practice that must be addressed before the trade war with China will end. Is Wall Street right in their assumption that economic growth in China is coming to a screeching halt? This is the million dollar question. This shift in thinking by the investing community has directly contributed to the massive slide in stocks throughout China and we have to ask ourselves is the voting power of the investing community getting the story right, or will these investments translate into massive profits over the long term? These three ideas along with many other factors such as the depreciation of the Yuan vs the dollar have contributed to a huge decline in the share price of Chinese stocks. Is growth in China slowing? Are companies like Alibaba, Baidu, JD, IQ etc overspending in a desperate attempt to diversify? Are investors assuming the worst? Are China stocks oversold? Are they do for a massive rebound? Is the investing community getting the story right?

NYSE Big Board: Chinese tariff retaliation causes Dow Jones to plunge
FULL stream of the Dow Jones Big Board for the trading day of May 13, 2019. Escalating its trade war with the U.S. and sending world financial markets into a slide, China announced higher tariffs Monday on $60 billion worth of American goods in retaliation for President Donald Trump's latest penalties on Chinese products. The announcement unnerved investors, which led to The Dow Jones industrial average to fall than 600 points, or close to 2.5%, in daily trading, while the Standard & Poor's 500 also sank nearly 2.5%. Mandarin/Nat United States President Bill Clinton was welcomed with a rousing applause when he visited China's biggest stock exchange on Wednesday. Clinton spent time at the new Shanghai Stock Exchange - billed as the most modern trading floor in the world. His visit wraps up the Shanghai leg of his nine day China tour, and follows a speech to the American Chamber of Commerce in which he urged China to open its trade markets. Anxious to get a glimpse of U-S President Bill Clinton, excited locals lined the streets as the motorcade moved through the city to the plush Shanghai Stock Exchange. Clinton's visit followed a breakfast with American business leaders and a quick coffee at an Internet cafe. Enthusiastic cheers greeted the President as he entered the new towering steel and glass building, billed as the most modern stock exchange in China. During the leader's visit, trading was suspended and the computerised trading board interrupted with 'big screen' coverage of the President as he strolled through the trading floor. As a memento of his visit, Clinton was presented with a red floor jacket by young excited traders. The President was clearly overwhelmed by the excitement of his presence. Accompanying him was National Security Adviser Sandy Berger, U-S Trade Representative Charlene Barshefsky and U-S Commerce Secretary William Daley. The Shanghai Stock Exchange is seen as a new symbol of China's march towards a market economy. And that was the main topic of discussion earlier in the day when Clinton had breakfast with American business leaders. While he praised China's market reforms, he also took the opportunity to call on the country to open its markets to foreign trade. As well as this he urged American investors to help China's battle with huge environmental problems - without slowing its economic growth. Clinton also expressed disappointment that there was little progress in an agreement for China's entry into the World Trade Organisation (W-T-O) - the group which sets rules for global trade. He had said China must agree to "strong terms" to qualify for membership in the W-T-O including opening its markets and allowing investment opportunities. That trade barrier has been the biggest sticking point in negotiations - but it did little to dampen the excitement of the President's visit here. Floor activity was bustling as indexes climbed more than 10 points. It triggered new confidence among traders who say continued strength in the market will improve investor confidence. SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) "Today we reached a very high point. More than 10 points. We feel very confident in our Chinese stock market. If the Chinese stock market continues to develop and improve it will be good for us." SUPER CAPTION: Shanghai Stock Exchange Trader SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) "In Shanghai it is all computerized. It calculates on its own and each person can be responsible for their own stock. This is different to New York. There they have a different way of controlling their stock and keep the market from swinging to much one way or the other." SUPER CAPTION: Shanghai Stock Exchange Trader The Shanghai Stock Exchange was founded on the 26th of November, 1990 and was open for business a month later. Seven years on, it is now the largest and most extensive securities market in China. By the end of 1997, the Shanghai Stock Exchange boasted 3-hundred-and-83 company share listings and more than 17 (m) million registered investors. The only exclusion are companies from Taiwan. 2018's stock market gains wiped out
The gloom-and-doom on Wall Street has wiped out the stock market's gains for the year. The Dow dropped 552 points, or 2.2%. Plunging retailers like Target and Kohl's led the S&P 500 1.8% lower. Tech stocks once again got hit hard, with the Nasdaq sinking 1.7%. Apple retreated another 5% after Goldman Sachs dimmed its price target on the iPhone maker for the second time in a week. All three major indexes have given up their gains on the year. The Dow is nearly 2,500 points off its peak. The Dow lost nearly 400 points on Monday as well. This week's sell-off marks a continuation of a glum two months on Wall Street. The S&P 500 is down nearly 10% from its record high, flirting with official correction territory. The losses have been sparked by a flurry of concerns about everything from higher interest rates and crashing oil prices to the US-China trade war. But the overarching theme is that investors are bracing for the end of the fantastic economic and profit growth that marked the past year. Analysts expect a deceleration in 2019 driven by tariffs, the fading impact of the tax cuts and higher borrowing costs caused by the Federal Reserve. Why The Stock Market Dropped Today & This Week – China Balance Of Trade
The stock market crashing is once again on investors minds after this week. With March starting off down for stocks, 3 main reasons were at play. INVESTING in CHINA 2017 - How to Invest in China Stocks for Beginners
"Investing in China" - How to Invest in China Stocks for Beginners. The video cuts through the hype and offers practical ideas on how to invest in China without the risk associated with buying stock directly from Chinese owned companies whose accounting practices are not up to the same standard as companies in the United States. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) that apply to US companies do not necessarily apply to companies in China. However, investment opportunities abound, and this video explains a couple of different ways in which investors may take advantage of great investment opportunities without all that naked risk. China has approximately 20% of the world's population and it is experiencing impressive economic growth. As the population becomes more urbanized, the economic growth potential is enormous. Also, China is opening its doors to foreign investors and allowing greater access to its stock markets in an effort to receive much more capital from investors. Until recently, a lot of companies had been cut off from international investment money. Stocks trade on the Shanghai Stock Exchange or the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. See how investing in US companies doing business in China, or investing in Exchange Traded Funds (ETF) is an economically healthier alternative to purchasing direct stock in individual China-owned stock. This is a primer for beginners who are new to the stock market, new to investing, and new to Exchange Traded Funds, and shows newcomers where to go to invest in China stocks for beginners. Knowledge is Power. Investing in China. Stocks for beginners.

Indias biggest stock exchange (Mumbai) performs much better than the stock exchanges of all the other major countries! It is a very positve sign for the future of the economy of India and a promise for more investments in India. Today I am going to compare the performance of the largest stock exchange in India, that is the Mumbai stock exchange, to the performance of the stock exchange indexes of New York City, Shanghai, Tokyo, Moscow and Frankfort. Spoiler alert; India beats all of them. The biggest stock exchange of India easily wins from all the other superpowers. India gains the largest profit in both a 5 year timeframe and in the short timeframe being the year to date. Other spoiler alert; the western media, as usual, give me the impression that they try to avoid the conclusion that India has the best performing stock exchange of all the major economies in the world. Because there have already been news reports to downtalk the success of the Indian stock exchange. So predictable. Thanks for watching! Like this video if you like India! And subscribe to this channel if you want me to make more video's with a positive approach towards India!

Stock Market US China Trade War Panic!
Just as the mainstream media had gotten used to the stock market rallying towards new all time highs into the end of April. Suddenly, out of the blue TRADE WAR PANIC hits the markets and apparently is responsible for the ongoing downturn in the US and world general stock market indices. This illustrates the way the mainstream media tends to work where the big news story of the day is used to explain the direction of a market, with the same news usually spinned as an explanation for either when the market goes up or down! And Mays big news story to explain the downswing is the latest saga in the US / China trade war, namely increased tariffs from 10% to 25% to kick on $200 billion of Chinese goods today (Friday 10th May) triggered by China trying to pull a fast one on the US by backtracking on earlier promises, which illustrates that NO ONE can trust what China says, not even the worlds Super Power! Mandarin/Nat Taiwan's chief envoy Koo Chen-fu is pressing his practical agenda in China, as he continues his visit to Shanghai for talks with Chinese counterpart Wang Daohan. Taiwan wants to focus the talks - the first for five years - on economic issues. After touring Shanghai's Pudong district on Thursday, Koo was shown around the city's fledgling stock exchange. Koo Chen-fu continued to push his agenda during a sightseeing tour on Thursday. Taiwan's top negotiator visited the stock exchange after touring Shanghai's Pudong district, a swathe of farmland transformed over the past decade into a collection of factories and office towers. The stock exchange here opened at the beginning of the year. China has plans to transform this district into the financial centre of the country. Koo marvelled at Shanghai's fast paced, high-rise growth. He encouraged a more open system of trading in China. SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) "We need an open and fair business dealings, a stricter legal system should be established as well as a transparent management in order to establish a normal order, however we always know that the stock market always suffers setback from problems with the economic infrastructure. We have to get fully prepared to overcome it." SUPER CAPTION: Koo Chen-fu, Taiwan negotiator At present, only one or two Taiwanese companies are listed on the Chinese markets. This is because China has strict barriers preventing them from investing here. As a result, new stock exchanges, such as this one in Shanghai, remain flat. Experts say increased investment from healthy Taiwanese businesses would lift the markets and benefit the flagging state-run companies already in existence. SOUNDBITE: (English) "Most of the companies here are the previously state-owned enterprises. These state- owned enterprises - some of them are good companies but most of them are yet to learn how to operate in an international market, whereas in Taiwan, where we see a lot of good electronics companies as well as a lot of manufacturers, mass manufacturers who have been very successful internationally, and if they were to be able to court their investment in the domestic stock market to raise their liquidity here, it would definitely, in the other way, help to raise the quality of the different companies in China." SUPER CAPTION: Hoong Yik Luen, Director of Chinese research for ING Barings Securities Taiwanese business executives - who have committed 35 (b) billion U-S dollars in investment in China over the past decade - met Koo over lunch. Again, Koo alluded to his practical agenda - the importance of economic ties between the two rivals. SOUNDBITE: (Mandarin) "The two sides should be discussed with each other to comply with the interests of the two people. In the agreement it is mentioned that the benefit of the Taiwanese investors should be further discussed. We hope that we can at an early point, hold consultations to establish a normal order for economic and trade relations between the two sides that will allow each of you to feel secure and at ease in investing on the mainland." SUPER CAPTION: Koo Chen-fu, Taiwan negotiator Taiwan's top negotiator then prepared to meet his Chinese counterpart to try anew to bridge differences that have chilled relations. The envoy was scheduled to meet, dine and watch a traditional Beijing opera with Wang Daohan. In an indication of the hopes China is placing on the visit, Koo will meet Chinese President Jiang and Vice Premier Qian Qichen over the weekend in Beijing. Both sides are under pressure to achieve an accommodation. Better ties would likely help the Nationalists win business support in December's general elections. Invest in the Hong Kong Stock Market
http://www.profitableinvestingtips.com/stock-investing-tips/invest-in-the-hong-kong-stock-market Invest in the Hong Kong Stock Market By www.ProfitableInvestingTips.com. The Hong Kong stock market is at a seven year high. Reuters talks about money inflow hopes as China allows mutual funds to invest in the Hong Kong exchange. Hong Kong's bull kept raging on Monday, with the benchmark Hang Seng Index jumping nearly 3 percent to fresh seven-year highs on expectations more money will pour in to hunt for bargains. Brokerage BOC International forecast that about 100 billion yuan ($16.09 billion) will be raised by mainland fund managers and become available for Hong Kong investment as early as May. China recently allowed mutual funds to buy Hong Kong stocks under the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect scheme. On Monday, investors are also encouraged by a report in Hong Kong's Oriental Daily that speculated that the daily quota for Hong Kong stock purchases by mainlanders under the Connect scheme will be nearly quadrupled to 40 billion yuan. Is it time to invest in the Hong Kong stock market? The hype in Hong Kong is that Chinese investors will find cheap valuation and more in Hong Kong. Another reason for mainland investors to want to invest in the Hong Kong stock market are plunging real estate prices and dwindling exports. Simply put there may be better ways to make money than investing directly in mainland China these days. Is This the End of the Chinese Economic Miracle? Over the last forty years China has mimicked the economic experience of the United States in the latter half of the 19th century. China routinely experienced ten percent economic growth or better. Now economists expect China to be happy with seven percent growth this year and perhaps five percent growth by the end of the decade. The Wall Street Journal weighs in on weak first quarter growth in China. According to data released Monday by the General Administration of Customs, Chinese exports fell 15% and imports fell 12.7% last month in dollar terms as weak domestic and foreign demand weighed heavily on Chinese factories. Beijing faces growing pressure to pare interest rates, cut bank reserves and increase government spending following a string of weak property, industrial production and other economic data in recent weeks, said Mizuho economist Shen Jianguang. He said he expected first-quarter growth to be around 6.8% or 6.9%. “But the real fundamentals, industrial production, could be even weaker,” Mr. Shen added. The point is that there may be better places to invest right now than in mainland China. To invest in the Hong Kong market will give investors another more viable option. What Are the Problems in China? The Australian looks at the Chinese economy from the viewpoint of how Australia will need to look offshore as demand for raw material exports to China diminishes. China’s 2014 GDP growth rate of 7.4 per cent was the lowest since 1990, and is forecast to drop to about 7 per cent. The long-term factors behind slower growth for China include: China’s ageing population and a shrinking workforce. Rising real wages, as regional and sectorial labor shortages enhance labor bargaining power. Over-capacity in many Chinese industries, as a long-term consequence of policies that have favored investment ahead of consumption. Visible pollution of air, water, soil, food: resistance from consumers and residents increases, and pollution control will mean higher costs for many companies. As a first step many Chinese may choose to invest in the Hong Kong stock market. Other investors may wish to look totally outside China for investment opportunities. http://youtu.be/VtACcYjfZSI

For the past week or so the Shanghai Composite Exchange [Chinas Stock Exchange] has been dipping a goo 10-20 points then recovering then going down. This is affecting the US, London, German and other exchanges around the world. Everyone thinks Chinas exchange is on the verge of collapsing or at the very best another 2008 bubble is right around the corner. Whether this one does us in no one knows. 📉Stock Market Crash December 2018. Why Are Stocks Crashing?📉
Stock Market Crash December 2018. Why Are Stocks Crashing? Yield Inversion+Trade War with China Update U.S. stocks suffered the biggest rout in almost two months Tuesday, and among the primary culprits is a shift in how bond investors view risks to the economy. Known as the inversion of the yield curve, where short-term interest rates climb above longer-dated ones, the signal is considered among the best predictors of a future slowdown. One relationship, the spread between three- and five-year Treasury yields turned negative for the first time in more than a decade Monday. New developments in the trade war between the United States and China. China and the United States have very different summaries on the key takeaways from the ongoing discussions. Was there really a trade deal?

SEC Stops Chicago Stock Exchange China Sale
Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday rejected the sale of the Chicago Stock Exchange (CHX) to a group led by China-based investors, saying there were unresolved questions about the ownership structure under such a deal and whether the SEC would have sufficient oversight of the exchange if it was sold. SEC staff had initially approved the sale of privately owned CHX for an undisclosed amount to a consortium led by Chongqing Casin Enterprise Group but the regulator put that decision on hold in August of last year for further review. http://feeds.reuters.com/~r/reuters/topNews/~3/Lx2--9rkLPU/sec-halts-chicago-stock-exchange-sale-to-group-led-by-china-based-investors-idUSKCN1G000H http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit Business using http://wochit.com

📉 Stock market continues to be vulnerable | The Closing Beat 🎵
Every day when the stock market closes we update our clients and subscribers about the important or interesting things that moved the stock market and your retirement investments. We leave the opinion out...mostly. Our goal is to educate briefly on what moved the stock markets, what may be coming up, and how your investments, or retirement portfolio may have been impacted by the day's news. Here's a look at what investors were focused on today: The markets were lower initially as earnings from Deere (NYSE: DE) and weak Chinese earnings held back the global markets. Mid-morning consumer sentiment numbers came in better than expected which pulled the markets into the positive. By the afternoon however as CNBC reported that China trade talks have officially stalled. This sent all the major indices back into the red. The Dow closed the day lower by 98, the S&P 500 sold off 16 and the Nasdaq closed the day down 81. Next week starts with Fed speak on Monday morning as well as the Fed Chairman talking in the evening. Healthcare investors will be focused on the UBS HealthCare conference which starts Monday as well. Sector News Semiconductors continued their weakness today following yesterday's Huawei news that the U.S. would ban them and their associates. The semiconductors are a vital part to the overall support of the market and were one of the culprits that held back the broad markets today. For the most part, many of the other areas of the market remain in a vulnerable position following this weeks volatility. Investors will turn to next week’s schedule of news for more clarity on the health of the Chinese markets, tariffs, and U.S. economic news. Stock News Pinterest (NASDAQ: PINS) shares were in focus today as the stock sold off double digits following their earnings report. In their first earnings report since being public the company showed a loss of $41 million on revenue if $201 million. The loss was blamed on adding new employees and they guided lower for the current quarter as well. Luckin Coffee (NYSE: LK) shares had a rather successful IPO today as the company sold more shares than anticipated raising $561 million. Luckin is technically the second largest coffee chain in China though it is a distant second to Starbucks (NASDAQ: SBUX) Baidu (NASDAQ: BIDU) along with many other Chinese names sold off hard today. Biadu shares saw a double digit sell off as the company showed a quarterly loss for the first time since 2005 when they IPO’d. The company also offered guidance for the current quarter that was below expected as they deal with a slowing Chinese economy. We're an investing service that also helps you keep your dough straight. Stocks Market Analysis April 2019| Stock Market April 2019
Stock Market Analysis April 2019. Stock Market April 2019. Stocks retreated as investors continued to buy bonds, pushing yields on longer-term government debt to levels not seen in more than a year. Fueling bond purchases and stock-market weakness were apprehensions over global growth emanating from Europe and China, as the eurozone’s top central banker voiced concerns Wednesday over the effects of negative interest rates, a policy the European Central Bank introduced nearly five years ago. Those comments come after the central bank lowered its forecast for eurozone gross domestic product this year to 1.1% from 1.7% and announced a fresh round of bank stimulus several weeks ago. Also fueling growth concerns was data released Wednesday by China’s National Bureau of Statistics, showing that profits at industrial firms fell by 14% in January and February, the largest decline since 2011. Yield Curve Inversion. Bank Stock Crash. President Donald Trump’s top trade negotiator, Robert Lighthizer, and Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin are due to visit Beijing on Thursday and Friday, while top Chinese negotiator, Vice Premier Liu He, plans travel to the U.S. the following week. The burst of diplomacy suggests both sides remain determined to reach an agreement that would avoid any escalation of the eight-month trade war that has seen them impose duties on $360 billion of each others’ imports. In a radio interview this week, Lighthizer said he wants to get a deal, but he’s “not necessarily hopeful” one will happen. “We’re working on it,” Lighthizer told National Public Radio. “If there’s a great deal to be gotten, we’ll get it. If not, we’ll find another plan.” U.S. negotiators have voiced concern that China is backtracking on earlier pledges, while officials in Beijing have shown resistance to proposals that they see as one-sided. Plans for a meeting between Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping to finalize an agreement has been pushed back by at least a month to late-April, at earliest.
