Why is oil priced/traded in USA dollars?

02:52
Why is oil priced/traded in USA dollars? Is a strong dollar bearish for the oil price? Why? Gaurav Sharma, an Independent Energy Analyst comments. A global commodity requires a global reserve currency. Historically oil prices were priced in pounds sterling in the day of the Empire when the UK was trading with three quarters of the world. Slowly the global scenario changed and the USA dollar emerged as the global reserve currency, and it was fairly obvious that the oil markets would turn to USD $. At one point during the financial crisis, some OPEC members even suggested the adoption of the EUR If you've found this video useful, please click the like button and share it with your friends and remember to SUBSCRIBE to remain up-to-date!

Commodities on 29.11.2018: BRENT, WTI, USD/RUB, USD/CAD

02:16
Nothing can prevent oil prices from falling. The report from the Energy Information Administration has only reinforced a further decline in quotes. The official data showed a weekly rise in the stockpiles of crude oil of 3 million 577 thousand barrels. Though market participants expected a slower increase, they were not surprised by the published figures. So, they just continued selling oil futures. WTI crude benchmark retreated from the level of 50 dollars per barrel and is now trading slightly below this mark. Brent crude benchmark also came off the level at 59 dollars per barrel and is heading lower more actively. Reportedly, the OPEC and non-OPEC states are ready to cut the output in order to balance the oil market. However, this news did not encourage investors to buy oil futures ahead of the G20 summit. Forex traders are also waiting for this event. The US dollar lost momentum amid comments of Jerome Powell, so other major currencies managed to offset losses. The commodity currencies also benefited from the greenback’s weakness. The dollar-ruble pair declined and settled near 66.70. However, the ruble’s rise is limited by the political factors regarding Ukraine and uncertainty over the meeting between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump. At the same time, loonie traders are cautious today. The USD/CAD pair plunged by almost 1%, but then retreated slightly, settling near the level of 1.3285. As for now, the commodity assets totally depend on the US dollar. Therefore, as soon as the key political event takes place tomorrow, traders can change their choice. Meanwhile, let us closely watch macroeconomic publications and political news. https://www.instaforex.com FX Analytics - https://www.instaforex.com/forex_analytics Forex Calendar - https://www.instaforex.com/forex_calendar Forex TV from InstaForex - https://www.instaforex.com/instaforex_tv Forex charts - https://www.instaforex.com/charts Instant account opening - https://www.instaforex.com/fast_open_live_account Forex Trading Contests - https://www.instaforex.com/forex_contests List of official InstaForex blogs: https://www.facebook.com/instaforex https://www.instagram.com/instaforex/ https://twitter.com/InstaForex #commodity_market #oil #instaforex_tv

The Top 3 Forex Pairs to Trade

Click here to talk to us on WhatsApp: https://traderoomplus.com/s/wa Click here to talk to use on Telegram: https://t.me/traderoomplus We're often asked, 'What are the best Forex pairs to trade and why?' In this concise video, we answer those questions by looking at the best Forex pairs to trades and why. It'll provide you with three pairs which to learn to trade and also the most relevant news and events to look at. The Forex market is the most liquid market in the world with other 5 trillion $ traded per day. This video is best for: Beginners looking to learn about profitable Forex trading, Traders deciding which Forex / currency pairs to trade, Traders wanting to understand what moves the Forex markets, Forex traders looking for help, Contents: - Why people trade Forex, - The major world currencies, - Forex basics, - What moves Forex markets? - EUR/USD, - USD/JPY, - GBP/USD (Cable), - Conclusions. There are many pairs of currencies to choose from as you can see here. With many markets, comes many opportunities. The Forex markets are nearly open 24 hours per day from Sunday evening to Friday night. Because the markets are nearly continuously open, it allows a trader to focus upon currency pairs which suit their own personal circumstances and work / life balance. There are different economic drivers for different currency pairs. For example if you like to trade commodities like oil, you may like currency pairs which are linked to oil trading. Forex pairs are highly technical in nature and favoured by technical analysts. If you need to know more about technical analysis, click here to see our video on the best technical indicators for trading. These are the four major world currencies, the Pound, the US Dollar, the Euro and the Japanese Yen. You should always aim to trade currency pairs which has one of these currencies within them. Some basics: Forex and Currency trading are used interchangeably and mean the same thing. The currency displayed on the left is the ‘base currency’. So if you see this pair, with the Pound on the left and the US Dollar on the right – the currency pair known as ‘cable’ – you now the base currency is the pound. The currency on the right is called the ‘counter currency’. What you are betting on is whether or not the base currency will strengthen, or weaken, against the counter currency. For example, if you think the Pound will strengthen against the US Dollar and increase in value, then you would go long. What moves the Forex markets? It depends on which pair you’re looking at. The top 5 we recommend are primarily concerned with the activities of the major central banks. Central banks control monetary policy, affect inflation and employment and set interest rates. The Federal reserve in the United States has major influence over currency pairs involving the US Dollar. FOMC meetings are held 8 times per year and particular focus is upon interest rate policy. Make sure you know when these meetings occur. The Bank Of England is the central bank based in London. Meetings are regular and inflation rates are especially important to the Bank Of England as it sets an annual benchmark and target to keep inflation at a set figure. Deviations away from this figure can trigger intervention including interest rate rises and falls which cause volatility for currency pairs with Pound within them. The bank of Japan meets around 12 times per year and carries out many of the same functions as the other central banks we have mentioned. Anyone based in the UK or Europe should take note of when the meetings will occur and consider their trades and exposure if they are trading any currency pair containing the Yen. The top 3 pairs we like to look for opportunities upon are the currency pairs that are traded the most. There’s a reason they are traded the most, because they are the best to trade. With them being traded the most, it means they are the most liquid, meaning less risk of big gaps and not being filled by your broker, and you will also receive a tighter spread with your broker. The pairs offer near 24/7 trading and there are key events most traders can be around for, including the FTSE and European open, as well as the US open and close. Hardy: How I'm trading commodity currencies as gold oil prices tank

03:04
With WTI crude trading close to USD 50 and gold hitting a five-year low, Saxo Bank’s John Hardy says low commodity prices are starting to be felt in FX markets. If prices continue to tank, it could have big implications, he says. Commodity currencies like CAD and NZD have already been hit by the slump in commodity prices and, Hardy expects AUD could be next, saying the market is complacent about the Reserve Bank of Australia’s desire to see a weaker Aussie. Hardy has paired four commodity currencies with the G4, and looks at how they could be traded as low commodity prices starts to drive inflation down which could impact monetary policies.
Which Markets To Trade? Trading the Forex Markets! 👍

07:54
Which Markets to Trade? FOREX http://www.financial-spread-betting.com/forex/spread-betting-forex.html PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS VIDEO SO WE CAN DO MORE! The foreign exchange market, also known as forex, currency trading, spot forex and FX; can offer attractive opportunities to spread traders, even during turbulent market conditions. The currency markets are highly liquid with the global forex market being worth some $4 trillion-a-day. If you are interested in forex trading, you can actually trade forex through financial spread betting and currencies like the euro/pound have always been popular with traders. Most spread betting providers offer trading on a wide range of major and even exotic currency pairs. The added advantage is that with your same spread betting account you can trade a wide range of other financial markets that are often impacted by fluctuations in the forex market. Trading Forex Markets: A question that always comes up when someone starts trading is what market should I trade in? And what financial instrument(s) in that market are best? It can be very confusing for a beginner, as there are just so many markets and ways of trading, and you can trade in virtually everything (even the change in house prices, if you include products such as spread betting). To start with, let’s look at the four main markets. First we have Forex, or the foreign exchange market. This is concerned with currency conversions, such as how many dollars my pound sterling can buy. Secondly, there are stock markets in all major countries, with some countries such as the US having several, and on these you can trade stocks and shares. The terms are used interchangeably, but often the word stocks is used when you have interests in several different companies, and shares when you’re talking about a particular company, e.g. shares in IBM. The third major market is indices, such as the DAX, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the FTSE, etc. These are combinations of stock prices, calculated in different ways for each and giving a general reflection on the health of a country’s economy. And fourthly, we can consider trading on commodities, which you may recognize as oil, gold, wheat, and other major goods. Which market you choose depends on a variety of factors. When you are trading, you need a measure of volatility, which is price changing, so that you can make your profit. The only exception to this is if you trade options on the underlying financial instruments, when you can make money when prices don’t move – but discussion of that is beyond the scope of this course. It is a matter of personal preference how much you want to see the price change. If you are daytrading, you need the price to move fairly often to a significant extent, but with swing trading you may be satisfied with steady price changes over several days. It comes down to how you trade and also your personal disposition. Within each of the four markets you will see differences between different products. Some will move smoothly, the prices of others may move in a jagged and erratic way. This will also vary over time, so you need to learn the market that you are trading in. Considering first the Forex market, this is huge. There are exchanges all around the world, and the market is open 24 hours a day, closing only at weekends. A large market is good for trading, because you have liquidity, which means you can easily trade at any time, and the fees and spreads will tend to be small, saving you money. The most common currencies traded on Forex are the Great British pound, the US dollar, the euro, and the Japanese yen. These can be traded in all sorts of combinations such as the EUR/USD, GBP/USD, etc. There are many other currencies available, including some called the “exotics”, but it is as well to start off trading the big ones.

Why commodity trading is the comeback kid

01:44
http://goo.gl/5WgtCj Hedge funds continue to rush into commodities according to the Commitment of Traders report covering the week of February 18. The bullish bets on 24 US traded commodities jumped by 15 percent to 1,659,000 contracts of futures and options. This the seventh weekly increase in a row has driven the exposure to the highest since April 2011 and an unprecedented 23 out of 24 commodities tracked in this were bought. Gold net-long jumped by 31 percent following the recent break above USD 1,300/ounce. WTI crude oil net-long rose and is now just 2,237 contracts below the record from last July. Soybeans traders added another 10 percent resulting in the net-long reaching the highest since September 2012.Arabica coffee longs jumped to the highest since October 2011 as the price began to take off in response to the drought in Brazil. Many other interesting changes during a week which again signaled the potential return of commodities as an investment class worth taking a closer look at. However a word of warning; many of the these current bullish moves are driven by the adverse weather in the US and Brazil. There's the imminent danger of a correction once that situation stabilises.
The pros and cons of trading futures

04:04
The pros and cons of trading futures is the topic of conversation on this video today. Trading futures is what I specialise in and started learning when I was just 18 years old. I, now do believe that futures is one of the best markets to trade. However, I don’t wish to paint a picture of unicorns and rainbows. People do need understand that the as with any market there are both good and bad things that can happen, so let’s get started. One of the first pros of trading futures I find is that you can get started very easily with very low barriers of entry. You can start an account with just $1000 which is much lower than other marketplaces. There is also a lot less manipulation in the markets, comparted to places like the Forex market. That doesn’t mean to say there is not any manipulation, but it is a lot more of a level playing field. This is great for beginners as it allows you trade in a regulated market, meaning you have less chance of being stung due to unfair conduct. The E-mini S&P 500 is the highest traded market by professional retail traders. Retail traders are people like you and me, sitting at home trading in front of our computers. Now, moving on to the cons in our pros and cons of trading futures discussion. With trading futures, it is a little easier to make more money, however with that in mind it means you are able to lose just as much money. Because the leverage is a lot higher, it is a bit riskier if you don’t know what you are doing. There are ways to make sure you are on top of your game, using stop losses, high probability strategies to make sure your winners are bigger than your losers. These are some quick points on the pros and cons of trading futures, there aren’t a lot of cons as it is easy to get started and it has a more level playing field. However, you need to make sure you have a good strategy and be on top of your game to make sure you don’t get stung in this large market. Commodities and Currency Exchange Rate

04:19
http://www.forexconspiracyreport.com/commodities-and-currency-exchange-rate/ Commodities and Currency Exchange Rate By www.ForexConspiracyReport.com According to Bloomberg currencies of commodity exporters are falling as raw material demand from China falls off. Currencies of commodity-exporting nations including Australia fell as a gauge of raw materials slid to a five-year low on speculation demand will drop after China signaled slower economic growth. The Australian dollar sank to a seven-month low against its U.S. counterpart, dropping against most of its 31 major peers. South Africa’s rand and Brazil’s real weakened, and an index of emerging-market currencies reached the lowest level since 2009. Commodities and currency exchange rate are connected because a major source of income for nations like Brazil, South Africa and Australia is selling their raw materials to nations like China. As the Chinese economy slows so do those of their raw material suppliers and commodities and exchange rate are so connected that the real, rand and Aussie dollar are taking a hit as well. Australia Coal Exports and Pollution Control Efforts in China The Sidney Morning Herald notes that there is an Australian export risk due to an impending ban on dirty coal in China. Australian coal exporters are scrambling to clarify the fallout from changes to China's coal import rules, which could expose the industry to billions of dollars in lost sales as China seeks to cut air pollution. The Chinese government is to limit the use of imported coal with more than 16 per cent ash and 3 per cent sulfur from January 1, 2015, in a bid to improve air quality, especially in the major cities such as Beijing and around Shanghai. Apparently the only issue tying commodities and exchange rate for the Aussies is not just a fall off in Chinese manufacturing. Pollution in major Chinese cities has become a big issue and may be a driving force to reduce imports of low quality coal. The net effect for Australia either way will be a reduction in exports and a hit to the AUD. Trading Exporter Currencies The Financial Times reports that the export dip weighs on Australian growth. Australia’s economy slowed in the three months to end of June as a dip in exports cooled growth that had reached its fastest pace in two years during the previous quarter. Official figures on Wednesday showed gross domestic product had risen 0.5 per cent in the second quarter, slightly above analysts’ expectations but below the 1.1 per cent rate recorded three months earlier. Year-on-year growth moderated to 3.1 per cent over the financial year to June 30, against 3.5 per cent on the previous quarter, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics. A ten percent fall in economic growth is sufficient to drag down the value of the Aussie dollar because of the connection of commodities and currency exchange rate. Trading Exporter Nation Currencies To profit in Forex trading from the connection between commodities and currency exchange rate the trader needs to follow the world of commodities and commodity trading. Many times options traded on commodities give a hint as to where commodity values are going. And knowing who produces what and who they sell it to will help a trader make money in the world of commodities and currency exchange rate fluctuations. http://youtu.be/IH-FT2LIS9k

How the U.S. Dollar Impacts Other Currencies, Commodities, Oil & Gold - Forex (2009)

29:39
The 6th paragraph of Section 8 of Article 1 of the U.S. Constitution provides that the U.S. Congress shall have the power to "coin money" and to "regulate the value" of domestic and foreign coins. Congress exercised those powers when it enacted the Coinage Act of 1792. That Act provided for the minting of the first U.S. dollar and it declared that the U.S. dollar shall have "the value of a Spanish milled dollar as the same is now current". The table to the right shows the equivalent amount of goods that, in a particular year, could be purchased with $1. The table shows that from 1774 through 2012 the U.S. dollar has lost about 97.0% of its buying power.[60] The decline in the value of the U.S. dollar corresponds to price inflation, which is a rise in the general level of prices of goods and services in an economy over a period of time.[61] A consumer price index (CPI) is a measure estimating the average price of consumer goods and services purchased by households. The United States Consumer Price Index, published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, is a measure estimating the average price of consumer goods and services in the United States.[62] It reflects inflation as experienced by consumers in their day-to-day living expenses.[63] A graph showing the U.S. CPI relative to 1982–1984 and the annual year-over-year change in CPI is shown at right. The value of the U.S. dollar declined significantly during wartime, especially during the American Civil War, World War I, and World War II.[64] The Federal Reserve, which was established in 1913, was designed to furnish an "elastic" currency subject to "substantial changes of quantity over short periods", which differed significantly from previous forms of high-powered money such as gold, national bank notes, and silver coins.[65] Over the very long run, the prior gold standard kept prices stable—for instance, the price level and the value of the U.S. dollar in 1914 was not very different from the price level in the 1880s. The Federal Reserve initially succeeded in maintaining the value of the U.S. dollar and price stability, reversing the inflation caused by the First World War and stabilizing the value of the dollar during the 1920s, before presiding over a 30% deflation in U.S. prices in the 1930s.[66] Under the Bretton Woods system established after World War II, the value of gold was fixed to $35 per ounce, and the value of the U.S. dollar was thus anchored to the value of gold. Rising government spending in the 1960s, however, led to doubts about the ability of the United States to maintain this convertibility, gold stocks dwindled as banks and international investors began to convert dollars to gold, and as a result the value of the dollar began to decline. Facing an emerging currency crisis and the imminent danger that the United States would no longer be able to redeem dollars for gold, gold convertibility was finally terminated in 1971 by President Nixon, resulting in the "Nixon shock".[67] The value of the U.S. dollar was therefore no longer anchored to gold, and it fell upon the Federal Reserve to maintain the value of the U.S. currency. The Federal Reserve, however, continued to increase the money supply, resulting in stagflation and a rapidly declining value of the U.S. dollar in the 1970s. This was largely due to the prevailing economic view at the time that inflation and real economic growth were linked (the Phillips curve), and so inflation was regarded as relatively benign.[67] Between 1965 and 1981, the U.S. dollar lost two thirds of its value.[60] In 1979, President Carter appointed Paul Volcker Chairman of the Federal Reserve. The Federal Reserve tightened the money supply and inflation was substantially lower in the 1980s, and hence the value of the U.S. dollar stabilized.[67] Over the thirty-year period from 1981 to 2009, the U.S. dollar lost over half its value.[60] This is because the Federal Reserve has targeted not zero inflation, but a low, stable rate of inflation—between 1987 and 1997, the rate of inflation was approximately 3.5%, and between 1997 and 2007 it was approximately 2%. The so-called "Great Moderation" of economic conditions since the 1970s is credited to monetary policy targeting price stability.[67] There is ongoing debate about whether central banks should target zero inflation (which would mean a constant value for the U.S. dollar over time) or low, stable inflation (which would mean a continuously but slowly declining value of the dollar over time, as is the case now). Although some economists are in favor of a zero inflation policy and therefore a constant value for the U.S. dollar,[66] others contend that such a policy limits the ability of the central bank to control interest rates and stimulate the economy when needed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_dollar#Value

For more info: http://www.easymarkets.com/gtw/6288142.aspx The modern day world presents us with an environment which is overly noisy and congested. The international markets are often no different. However, like in life, if you can take the time to clear you head and focus to understand what traded instruments actual are and what drives them, then you can often see a clearer picture. This is often how I approach the markets. Hi my name is James; I would like you to join ME as I look into discovering the markets. Today’s subject, I will be focusing on one of the most traded commodities in the forex market and that is GOLD, with the hope that at the end of this video you will have a more of an understanding of the driving factors behind this yellow metal. Now, there is an old wall street saying, “Put 10% of your net worth into gold and hope it doesn’t go up”. As when gold flies, it often means things are going wrong elsewhere. However, though this saying really relates to the physical gold market, today we are looking at the GOLD spot market though this principle can also relate to the spot market, the spot market is in many ways very different. Gold spot is a trading instrument which you can trade practically 24 hours a day on the forex market. Unlike its physical counterpart where you have to purchase gold from a licenced distributor or licenced exchange and make arrangements for receiving and storing it and find either a buyer and seller; with spot you are simply speculating on the price movements, where if you get the direction right you can benefit from both buying and selling it. Now one of the first things, many market analysts will always say about gold, is that it is a safe haven. Now a safe haven is an investment that is expected to retain its value or increase its value during times of market uncertainty. With this in mind, the market often looks towards Gold when there is a lack in confidence in currencies and higher risk assets groups such as indices. Due to this, the market often tends to monitor the performance of indices (TXT ON SCREEN: S&P500, FTSE, the DAX, DJIA and the NIKKEI), as in the past if they have fallen, you could see GOLD prices rise and vice versa if these instruments have risen in value. Now though gold is traded against other major currencies, the key relationship has always been with the USD, which can be dated back to the Bretton Woods agreement established in 1944. Though this agreement was ended in 1971, you can often see the love and hate relationship between the two. Over the long term, a declining dollar has often meant a rise in gold prices. In the short term, this is not always true and though there is a special relationship between the USD and gold, gold is a global commodity and the price of the metal can often reflect the global sentiment, that’s why it has often shined for investors during times of both political unrest and conflict. But there is no doubt USD strength can play a major role in the value of gold so here are some key economic indicators from the US you have to keep in mind. US Initial Jobless claims Consumer Price Index US GDP FOMC announcements FED Base rate decisions US Non-Farm Payroll. Also another fundamental issue to bare in mind, is though we are talking about GOLD CFD’s, Gold is still a physical commodity and prices can be effected by supply and demand, so it’s often a good idea of being aware of the amount of supply coming from exporters of GOLD as well as the demand there is from the major central banks in the world. So in Final analysis, the key areas you need to be aware of when looking at gold is as follows: Global economic sentiment Performance of the stock market. Global political issues and conflict. The special relationship with the USD Key US Economic indicators. Supply and demand for Gold. Join me next time as I take a look at some key technical analysis behind GOLD as well as placing a trade. For now, thanks for watching and you trade safe.

But materials of daily use are also great investment options. Some examples are commodities like cotton, wheat, and copper. Commodities play a key role in spurring economic growth. They connect countries through trade and commerce. Like stocks, commodities trade as investment instruments at commodities markets around the world. In fact, these markets complete trades worth billions of dollars each day. Commodities market traders come from diverse backgrounds. They can be farmers who want to protect themselves from falling food grain prices, or brokerage houses who want to make big profits for their clients. They may also be business owners who use commodities as production inputs. They trade in commodity futures to protect themselves from an increase in the price of their input commodities. Whatever your interest may be – risk minimization or profit maximisation – the commodity futures market can cater to it. Commodity Futures also have some structural attributes that make them an important component of an investor’s portfolios. One of these attributes is that they let you take bigger positions than your means allow. Taking bigger positions means that investing the same amount in commodities can earn you higher returns than investing it in a conventional investment option. In India, commodity trading is relatively new. The country’s two biggest commodity exchanges only came up in 2003. But individuals and institutions are fast realising the benefits of commodities trading. An increasing number of investors are now setting aside a portion of their investment portfolio for commodities trading. At present, commodities can be traded on three national-level exchanges in the country: Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (MCX), National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX) and National Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd (NMCE). There are also 21 smaller exchanges that offer commodities trading at the regional level. The annual turnover of India’s five leading commodities exchanges stands at over Rs. 65 lakh crore.

Make Money Trading Markets - Tips to winning in Stocks, FX & Commodities 2013

03:17
http://www.fintraders.com Here are some tips from Vince Stanzione on How Anyone Can Make Money Trading Shares, Stocks, FX, Commodities and more with a simple to follow trading system that takes 15 minutes a day. Financial Trader's Guide to Spread Betting: A guide to making money from shares in up or down markets. If your new to Financial Spread Betting, CFDS or FX trading then Vince Stanzione can help you with over 27 years of experience.Want to know the difference between what winning financial traders and losing one's do? Well here are a few pointers from Self Made millionaire trader Vince Stanzione and author of Maximum Trading profits in minimum time: 1. Winning traders trade what they SEE not what they think. If the price goes to 50, 51, 55, 60, it is going up, it doesn't matter what the indicator or news says or what you THINK should be happening, the price tells you the truth and should always be obeyed. Many new traders lose larger amounts of money trying to pick the top or a bottom, this is risky and not required to succeed -- unless you have psychic powers then stick to a trading system and don't guess. 2. Don't get carried away by technology It's easy to get blown away by all the great software, on-line trading, real time data, charts, business channels, apps and bells and whistles. The truth is, less is more, and information overload makes you a worse trader. The more complicated your system, the less chance it will work or that you will follow it. The majority of technical trading indicators are a total waste of time and you do not need to waste money on expensive trading software that claims to predict markets. The most important factor when trading any market is the price. 3. In trading and investing we are dealing in unknowns and factors out of our control -- what you can control is the amount of money you risk on any one investment. How ever sure you are that XYZ is going to soar make sure you only invest a percentage of your trading bank that should it not turnout as you hoped you can still live to fight another day. If you money manage and keep losses small and your wins big then you can lose more times than you win and still make money. 4. When Vince was a broker he had access to 1000's of client accounts and could see how they traded -- the majority would cut winning trades very quickly but let losing trades run "hoping " that they would turn around. You cannot afford to trade and invest like this -- if something is not working out as planned cut it and get out -- taking a small lose now is less painful than taking a big lose latter. 5. Don't have a directional bisis. Many want to either always to just buy and go long a market, others are always bearish and want to go short -- a good trader should be natural and happy to trade markets either way. For example Vince may be long a stock for many months that is in an up trend and then when it breaks that trend he will sell and go short, allowing him to profit from Up and Down moves. If you too want to make Maximum Trading Profits in Minimum Time an profit regardless if the markets are rising or falling then visit www.55trader.com and put the odds in your favour.

[BCS] Forex. Commodity currencies. Australian dollar and gold

00:41
Australian dollar is one of the commodity currencies actively traded on the Forex market. The reasons of such popularity of the volatile AUD are the Australian high key interest rate, stability of the national economy, and close relationship between the currency and gold. Australia is one of the world’s largest producers of gold. The precious metal’s share in the country’s exports is about 7 percent (ranked third after coal and iron ore exports). An increase in global gold prices boosts Australian economic growth and strengthens its national currency. Read more: http://www.mt5.com/commodity_currencies/quotes/australian_dollar/

Forex is the largest financial market in the world. It is how individuals and businesses convert one currency to another. Each day over 4 Trillion dollars are traded. Unlike stocks or commodities there's no central exchange. Instead, currencies are traded by a global network of banks, dealers and brokers, which means you can trade any time, day or night, Monday to Friday. Because of the sheer volume of currency traders and the amount of money exchanged, price movements can happen very quickly, making currency trading not only the largest financial market in the world, but also one of the most volatile. 85. Forex Trading - Characteristics of the Main Currencies

06:59
Practice currency trading with a free demo account: http://bit.ly/IT-forex-demo3 View full lesson: http://www.informedtrades.com/21156-forex-trading-overview-worlds-main-currencies.html Over 80% of all currency transactions involve the US Dollar. As you can probably imagine after hearing this, currency traders pay heavy attention to what is happening with the US Economy, as this has a very direct affect not only on the US Dollar but on every other currency in the world as well. Japan, which is the second largest individual economy in the world, has the third most actively traded currency, the Japanese Yen. After experiencing impressive growth in the 60's, 70's and early 80's Japan's economy began to stagnate in the late 1980's and has yet to fully recover. To try and stimulate economic growth, the central bank of Japan has kept interest rates close to zero making the Japanese Yen the funding currency for many carry trades, something which we will learn more about in later lessons. It is also important to understand at this stage that Japan is a country with few natural energy resources and an export oriented economy, so it relies heavily on energy imports and international trade. This makes the economy and currency especially susceptible to moves in the price of oil, and rising or slowing growth in the major economies in which it trades with. While the United Kingdom is a member of the European Union it was one of the three countries that opted out of joining the European Monetary Union which is made up of the 12 countries that did adopt the Euro. The UK's currency is known as the Pound Sterling and is a well respected currency of the world because of the Central Bank's reputation for sound monetary policy. Next in line is Switzerland's currency the Swiss franc. While Switzerland is not one of the major economies of the world, the country is known for its sound banking system and Swiss bank accounts, which are basically famous for banking confidentiality. This, combined with the country's history of remaining neutral in times of war, makes the Swiss Franc a safe haven currency, or one which attracts capital flows during times of uncertainty. When traded against the US Dollar, the Euro, Yen, Pound, and Swiss Franc make up known as the "major currency pairs" which we will learn more about in coming lessons. For the purposes of this course we will focus on currencies that trade actively 24 hours a day allowing the trader to move in and out of positions during the trading week at anytime as he or she pleases. Although not considered part of the major currencies there are three other currencies in addition to the ones just listed which trade actively 24 hours a day and which we will be covering in this course. Known as the commodity currencies because of the fact that they are natural resource rich countries, the Australian Dollar, New Zealand Dollar and the Canadian Dollar are the three final currency pairs we will be covering. Also known as "The Aussie" the Australian Dollar is heavily dependant upon the price of gold as the Australian economy is the world's 3rd largest producer of gold. As of this lesson interest rates in Australia are also among the highest in the Industrialized world creating significant demand for Australian Dollars from speculators looking to profit from the high yield the currency and other Australian Dollar denominated assets offer. Like the Australian Dollar the New Zealand Dollar which is also known as "The Kiwi" is heavily dependant on commodity prices, with commodities representing over 40% of the countries total exports. The economy is also heavily dependant on Australia who is its largest trading partner. Like Australia, as of this lesson New Zealand also has one of the highest interest rates in the industrialized world, creating significant demand from speculators in this case as well. Last but not least is the Canadian Dollar or otherwise affectionately known as "The Loony". Like its commodity currency brothers, the Canadian Economy, and therefore the currency, is also heavily linked to what happens with commodity prices. Canada is the 5th largest producer of gold and while only the 14th largest producer of oil, unbeknownst to most; it is also the largest foreign supplier of oil to the United States.

The Gold & Silver Club Africa | Weekly Commodities Review | 22nd August 2014

14:16
LEARN TO TRADE COMMODITIES: http://bit.ly/GSCApplyNow GOLD / SILVER / PLATINUM / PALLADIUM / COPPER / CRUDE OIL / NATURAL GAS / COFFEE / CORN / SUGAR: The Gold & Silver Club Africa Weekly Commodities Review - 22nd August 2014. Presented by: http://www.thegoldandsilverclub.com GOLD PRICES rebounded on Friday, but still traded near a two-month low, as Commodity traders await the highly anticipated speech by Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen later in the day from the Annual Central Bankers Symposium in Jackson Hole, for fresh clues about the timing of U.S Interest Rate hikes. It is widely expected that Yellen will deliver a Dovish speech, whilst most probably underlining that there is still significant slack in the U.S Labor Market, which will be bullish for the Precious Metals and bearish for the USD. On the flipside should Yellen suggest that the more hawkish FOMC members are starting to influence her thinking then we could see significant volatility, which will be bullish for the USD and bearish for the Precious Metals. Regardless of the outcome, Yellen’s speech is expected to present traders with multiple highly lucrative trading opportunities across the commodities markets. Elsewhere, Oil prices surged following the latest U.S Inventories data. The current report from the U.S Energy Information Administration on Wednesday, showed a massive decrease in Crude Oil supplies versus demand. On Thursday, upbeat U.S economic data including The Philadelphia Fed Index, U.S Home Sales and Jobless Claims painted an optimistic picture, suggesting the world’s largest economy will consume more energy going forward – which drove Crude Oil prices up further as highlight in our top trades of the week. Watch Phil and Nik as they review the commodities markets, analyse charts in real-time and provide a trading plan for the week of 25 - 29 August 2014. Euro Options Trading

03:37
http://www.Options-Trading-Education.com - Euro Options Trading Euro options trading may be a better choice than directly trading the Euro as the Greek debt crisis staggers forward. The PIIGS crisis has plagued the European Union for more than a year. Sovereign debt issues in Portugal, Italy, Ireland, Greece, and Spain have threatened national solvency in these nations and have reached critical levels in Portugal and Greece. In fact wealthier European nations had to bail out Greece a year ago and are probably going to step in again. However, the haggling that is taking place prior to expected economic assistance is taking its toll on the Euro. How do options work on foreign currencies? Options in the Forex market function like stock options or commodity options in the US options market. Traders buy or sell puts or calls on one currency with another. However, because one buys options on one currency with another currency there is symmetry in Euro options trading that does not exist in standard stock or commodity options trading. In Euro options trading when a trader buys calls on the Euro with the US dollar it is the same as buying puts on the dollar with the Euro. A call option on the Euro purchased with dollars gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy Euros with dollars on or before the expiration date of the contract. A put option on the dollar purchased with Euros gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to sell dollars for Euros on or before the contract expiration date. This is the same trade! When to buy calls and when to buy puts on the Euro, dollar, Swiss franc, or Yen will depend upon how the trader analyzes the currency market. The general consensus is that if the European Union comes through with a workable solution to the Greek debt crisis the Euro will rally and stabilize. If the incessant haggling over details continues the Euro will likely remain unstable and likely to fall farther. The Euro is already at record lows versus the Swiss franc and only holds on versus the dollar because of the concerns about US debt and the long term value of the dollar. The issues in Euro options trading regarding restructuring Greek debt include the degree to which private investors will be involved the concerns about market turmoil in the case of a large debt swap. Also the recent global drop in industrial production has led many to start withdrawing from so called carry trade investments. These are investments in which an investor in a country with low interest rates will borrow money locally, convert to a foreign currency such as the dollar, and invest outside of their own nation where profits are higher. Investors concerned about the fall in the values of stock and in the value of the Euro, dollar, and other currencies are starting to sell foreign investments and return their money their home nations. This is affecting global currency exchange rates, especially in forcing down the value of the US dollar. Because of the continuing uncertainty of the Euro as well as other currencies Euro options trading remains the most secure means of trading the Euro. Engaging in options trading education regarding the Euro and other currencies could be profitable as the Greek debt crisis moves slowly towards resolution. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7q93XbjJdA

Make Money Trading Forex

04:19
http://www.forexconspiracyreport.com/make-money-trading-forex/ Make Money Trading Forex By www.ForexConspiracyReport.com World and national events drive the relative values of the US dollar, British Pound, Euro, Yen, Russian Ruble, Brazilian Real, Indian Rupee and other currencies up and down. Currencies are traded in pairs, one for another. Thus one can make money trading Forex currencies. To make money trading Forex one uses the same sort of approach as with trading stocks or commodities. It is important to understand the fundamentals that drive currency values and it is important to use statistical tools to analyze market sentiment. Fundamentals are what eventually determine currency values but market sentiment can drive prices up and down on the way to a final price. And, because fundamentals can always change this is a constant matter of research and analysis. Nevertheless, in the end one can simply learn what to do, how to do it, pay attention and make money trading Forex. Here are a couple of examples of how to make money trading Forex with a currency trading system. The Mighty Dollar The US dollar is part of eighty-seven percent of all Forex trades, followed by the Euro, Yen and Pound. This table shows the most traded currencies in the world. United States Dollar USD 87.0% Euro EUR 33.4% Japanese Yen YEN 23.0% Pound Sterling GBP 11.8% Australian Dollar AUD 8.6% Swiss franc CHF 5.2% Canadian Dollar CAD 4.6% The seven currencies in the table are called the majors. They trade in higher volume and offer greater liquidity than other currencies. Because daily foreign exchange trading averages $5.3 Trillion even the lowest ranking Canadian dollar trades at $243.8 Billion a day as valued in US dollars. On an average day 4.6 Trillion US dollars are traded. Many traders make money trading Forex by sticking with the major currencies. Because of their high trading volume and liquidity statistical tools work well. Traders use Forex candlestick strategies or similar tools to accurately anticipate price changes. They enter the market and set their trading stops. Then they exit when they have a profit or to contain losses if their analysis is incorrect. Traders take advantage of the predictability of major Forex pairs to make predictable profits. Unique Insights and Hard Work Most Forex traders make money trading Forex in the major pairs. However, there is often more money to be made in trading the minor pairs as these currencies may be much more volatile. The problem is that these currencies may not be as transparent as the majors, information may not be as reliable and traders can lose a lot of money acting on tips when trading minor currencies. However, if you have unique insights into the economies and economic policies of China, India, Russia, Mexico, Brazil or any other nation you may well be able to make money trading Forex using the US dollar and that currency in a major to minor pair. In this case you will not be trusting high trading volume and liquidity to give you accurate technical analysis. Rather you will have unique insight into the economic policy, monetary policy and other factors that will drive the value of the minor currency versus the dollar. The current events in Russia and Ukraine are a case in point. Right now Russia is selling dollars because of a weak ruble. To the extent that you can forecast how events will unfold in this region you will be able to successfully trade the USD/RUB pair and make money trading Forex. http://youtu.be/iIVyKuRPfX0

Broker Signup: http://globaloptioncapital.com Candlestick Charts: http://www.investing.com/charts/real-time-forex-charts HOW TO USE THE SYSTEM Let me explain in detail system: Step Number One: Click on the Binary Options tab, then in Top Picks find EUR/USD check the Traders' Choice column in order to pick the right trading direction e.g. if you see that 69% of traders trade up, you also should trade up. Step Number Two: Chances for winning: 57.4%. Go to 60 seconds tab. First, choose EUR/USD in the box above the chart, then choose your investment amount. And finally choose your trading direction by clicking either CALL (meaning up) or PUT (meaning down). Now just click Start, OK, and wait for the outcome. If your trade is successful, go to step 1 again. If you lose a trade, go to step 3. Step Number Three: Chances for winning: 79.1%. Click the Binary Options tab again and check if the Traders' Choice column didn't change. Once you know in which direction you should trade, go back to 60 seconds and open another trade, this time your investment should be double the amount that you traded in your first trade in order to cover for the amount you've lost in the last trade. THE RULES Adhere to the rules below to increase your chances for success. Rule #1 If the Traders' Choice column indicates that both directions are traded with the same or almost same (even 2% difference) popularity, don't trade - it's too risky. The direction should be obvious in order for you to place any trades. Rule #2 You need to remember to trade quickly, there is no time to waste -- markets fluctuate very quickly. Try to trade in the same pace as I do in my video. Rule #3 Once you choose your trading direction, try to stick to it until you win. Changing the direction in between 3 steps might affect your chances for winning. Rule #4 Every time your trade is successful and before you enter another one remember to check the Traders' Choice column.
