08:36
The Naval arms race of the early 20th century certainly meant that battleships got ever bigger and more powerful. But there is a David to every Goliath and so Motor Torpedo Boats were developed and used for "hit and run" style operations by both the British and the Italian Navy. Especially, the Italians used their Motoscafo armato silurante (MAS) with great success against the Austro-Hungarian Navy. » HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOUR CHANNEL? While the regular British forces were advancing towards Jerusalem and Baghdad, T.E. Lawrence and the Arab Revolt were causing havoc behind the lines. This week 100 years ago, they were continuing to attack the important Hejaz railway which was one of the vital supply routes for the Ottoman Army. On October 4, the Battle of Broodseinde was fought near Ypres and the costly British victory there caused real headaches for German general Erich Ludendorff. » HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOUR CHANNEL? The Finnish collision

The Finnish crypto exchange Prasos has developed the methods of customer identification that comply with anti-money laundering laws. Since 2012, Prasos has increased the volume of transactions tens of times, which reached 185 million dollars in 2017. The growth of the indicators of Prasos has aggravated the competition with local banks. According to the executive director of Prasos Henry Brade, representatives of these banks do not have “a system of rules for working with crypto-currencies.” The authorities of Finland do not currently intervene in the activities of crypto exchanges. Recall, in late February it was reported that the European Commission will consider the introduction of cryptocurrency regulation at the EU level. The Ultimate Astra GTE 16v with One Owner and Just 18,097 Miles from New. SOLD!

03:46
SOLD - SIMILAR REQUIRED CALL 01733 425140 The ultimate Astra GTE 16v with one owner and just 18,097 miles from new. EQUIPMENT Aerodynamic sill mouldings, body coloured bumpers, red bumper inserts, NACA bonnet air ducts, body coloured front spoiler and rear aerofoil, body coloured door mirror housing, black finish to B-pillars and rear panel, alloy road wheels, halogen headlamps, high pressure headlamp washers, integral driving lamps, body coloured sunroof, anti-lock brakes, power steering, electric aerial, sports front seats, driver's seat height adjustment, Liquid Crystal Display (LCD), seven-function check control panel, tinted rear view mirror, electric windows, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors. EXTERIOR This astounding Astra GTE is finished in Vauxhall Glacier White (code 10L) and retains an incredible pure shine from the original factory paint. The vehicle has never received any replacement panels or welding work, and there is no rust on the car whatsoever. The paintwork is in flawless condition aside from a very small area to the lower front offside wing where the paint has rubbed thin. This can be considered the only extreme minor imperfection that can easily be rectified, but has been left unaltered in order to preserve the cars true originality. All bumpers, factory fit glass and lights are in perfect condition, as are the correct GTE 16V decals and badges. There is a light scratch to the nearside door mirror and a small touched in scratch to the offside door mirror. Upon raising the bonnet you are greeted with a truly exceptional engine bay, being standard and correct in every manner with all manufacturer stickers present. INTERIOR Trimmed in Rainbow and Anthracite arrangement with matching door cards, the correct specification for Glacier White GTE's. The seats and door cards are completely free from wear and deterioration, commensurate with the remarkably low mileage covered. The colour keyed velour carpet is beautiful clean, full and taut. The dashboard and incorporated switchgear is perfect and fully functional, including the factory fitted Phillips security coded stereo cassette player (model DC670). Further GTE specific equipment extends to the fantastic Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) instrument cluster and additional separate 7-function check control panel, both of which perform exactly as the manufacturer intended. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The 150PS C20XE engine with double overhead camshafts is one element that certainly set the Astra GTE 16v well ahead of its competitors. The engine was originally released in Europe where it developed 156PS (153.9 bhp), but when the GTE 16v arrived in the UK it was subject to stricter emissions regulations whereby a mandatory new exhaust manifold robbed the engine of 6PS, and gave a true output of 148 bhp and maximum torque output of 144.6 lb.ft. Top speed of 135mph is reached whilst 0-62 is dealt with in a mere 8.0 seconds. The 5 speed manual gearbox with final drive ratio of 3:42:1 feels positively tight and offer excellent progression up the range. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES The white alloy road wheels fitted as standard to all Glacier White GTE 16v cars are in immaculate condition having suffered no damage or age related wear. The beautiful and delightfully period wheels are shod in the original fit Uniroyal Rallye 185/65/R14 tyres which have excellent tread remaining. The braking system incorporates 10.1in ventilated front discs and 10.2in rear discs and features electronic anti-lock brake assist (ABS) to install the utmost confidence for enthusiastic use, allowing the car to be enjoyed just as Vauxhall intended. HISTORY FILE This superb one owner vehicle was registered new on 8th March 1990 by company director Mr J English and promptly transferred into his private name after just three months of ownership, where it has remained ever since. The astonishingly low mileage 18,097 is fully supported and verified by absolutely every MOT certificate from new. All handbooks, service record, radio guides and Vauxhall supplements are present in the original grey plastic wallet. Further elements to delight the purist include the original radio code security sticker booklet which is complete and unused. The original old style log book and a host of service and maintenance invoices complete the history file. HPI Clear, Approved Used Car Check Certificate. Thinking of selling? Our proven commission sale or SOR (Sale or Return) program is a great way to utilise and access our professional services and facilities while still maximising the return from your vehicle with minimal hassle, stress and time, If you’d like to take advantage of this then please get in touch for further information. The General Affairs Council were given an update by the Commission regarding the situation with regard to rule of law in Poland. Since the Law and Justice party (PiS) took power, the Polish government has repeatedly undermined the country’s Constitutional Tribunal, is clamping down on the independence of the media, the freedom to associate and the independence of NGOs. Last week at the UN OHCR - Nations Human Rights Council’s 185 recommendations were made to Poland. France, Germany, and Sweden, spoke strongly on the damage done to Poland’s constitutional court in particular.

IGF 2012 Workshop 154 "What frameworks for cross-border online communties and Services?"

01:30:20
Panelists: • Chinmayi Arun, National Law University India and Fellow at CIS India • Brian Cute, CEO at PIR (.org) • Lee Hibbard, Media and Information Society Division at Council of Europe • Konstantinos Komaitis, Policy Advisor at Internet Society • Michael Niebel, Internet Policy Development at European Commission • Patrick Ryan, Policy Councel Open Internet at Google Moderator: Bertrand de La Chapelle, Director of the Internet & Jurisdiction Project Remote Moderator: Paul Fehlinger, Manager of the Internet & Jurisdiction Project More information at www.internetjurisdiction.net Video by the Internet Governance Forum Tension is growing between the cross-border Internet and a traditional legal and regulatory framework that bases jurisdiction on the physical boundaries of national territories. Conflicts of jurisdiction regarding personal data, freedom of expression, consumer protection, intellectual property and security are proliferating around the world, leading to broad legal uncertainty for all actors. In the absence of standards or common operational procedures for the governance of cross-border online spaces and attribution of jurisdiction, the growing patchwork of uncoordinated national regulations could threaten the universality of the Internet as a global network. The workshop aims at raising the awareness and understanding of this problem. The open dialogue will explore how this common concern of governments, private companies and civil society actors can be addressed collaboratively, in order to identify possible future frameworks and procedures. Moreover, the next steps of the Internet & Jurisdiction Project and the involvement of IGF participants therein will be discussed.

#3Blokes In A Pub... Talk THE BEST Brexit (Ep 2)

01:08:49
Like our podcast? Buy us a pint! https://www.gofundme.com/buy-a-round-for-the-3blokes Brexit Britain is fed up with experts. These days we only listen to the bloke down the pub. So in this controlled experiment, we put two blokes and a teddy bear in a pub and recorded the results for your viewing pleasure. Graham Hughes once won an island in a game show. (And that's the second coolest thing he's ever done.) He lived there off-grid for a few years, so when we leave the EU without a deal he'll probably survive for a few more weeks than the rest of us. Jason Hunter once represented the Hong Kong government in a massive trade dispute. Weirdly, he's not looking forward to the tsunami of trade disputes coming our way as a result on us reneging on every trade deal we've signed over the last 40 years. In this episode, we talk about the "best" Brexit that cold, hard reality makes possible. Naughty reality! Grr....! *** This podcast was brought to you by MAN OF THE WORLD by Graham Hughes, which is available in paperback, ebook and (yes!) audiobook versions here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Man-World-Book-Odyssey-Expedition/dp/B07FQTF1JC ***

House votes to reduce regulatory costs by 15 percent

02:02
Trump Breaking News Network -House votes to reduce regulatory costs by 15 percent. The House brought Republicans one step closer to significantly rolling back federal regulations on Wednesday, when it passed the Searching for and Cutting Regulations that are Unnecessarily Burdensome (SCRUB) Act by a vote of 240-185. The bill aims to reduce the cost of all federal regulations by 15 percent. It would establish a Retrospective Regulatory Review Commission charged with scouring the federal code for costly "major" rules. Commissioners would identify rules that have been in place for at least 15 years that they believe could be enforced more efficiently without loss of effectiveness. They would then recommend repealing those rules. Congress would have final say, as a joint resolution would be required before any rule is actually repealed. The commission would disband after five years. "We finally have a president in the White House who will put an end to the 'Washington knows best' mentality that has polluted our nation's capital for the past eight years," declared the bill's sponsor, Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo. "Our efforts in the SCRUB Act are to simply codify and make easier the process President Trump has already started." Smith maintains that compliance with all federal rules has cost businesses and others affected by them $2 trillion. "I am hopeful that Senate Minority Leader [Chuck] Schumer will allow Senate Democrats to vote their conscience and give the American people a say in the regulatory process," he said in noting the bill passed the House with some Democratic help. Ever since the first caveman figured out that wood floats, the sea has been a part of human history. From hollowed out logs to Roman Triremes, and from ships driven by the wind to the nuclear powered super carriers of today, man has had an impenetrable bond with ships. In fact, until the age of steam, they were mankind’s only practical means of moving goods around the world, making them an indispensable part of the civilization process. →Subscribe for new videos every day! https://www.youtube.com/user/toptenznet?sub_confirmation=1 Help us translate our videos: https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_queue?msg=10&tab=0 - Learn more why you might want to help: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6052538 Find more lists at: http://www.toptenz.net Entertaining and educational top 10 lists from TopTenzNet! TRIP through the 6,600 metres: „Westerschelde-Tunnel“ (NL) – EU-GAMBLING is SUCKING us

14:22
Deutscher Titel: "FAHRT mit einem INTEGRA Wohnmobil durch den 6.600 Meter langen „Westerschelde-Tunnel“ (NL) – EU BETTELEI geht gehörig auf den NERV" This is an older Video with the background music of the TECHNO-Hype "WHITE SENSATION". I hope the music is suitable for this shown trip in the video.... The shown video is a holiday TRIP of Summer 2014 with an INTEGRA EURA-MOBILE (Camper) in southern direction to the „Westerschelde-Tunnel“ on the Netherlands side of the „Belgium-Netherlands motorway/Interstate (N57)“. This is „North Sea“ HIGHWAY. I hope I could find a suitable background-music to this video. At minute 11 of the video, I tried to show the fascination of building such a monumental tunnel with an exciting music at the end. It was fantastic, but also diabolic and scary..... The Westerschelde Tunnel is the longest traffic tunnel in the Netherlands. Length: 6.6 kilometres, Maximum speed: 100 km/h, Deepest point below the Amsterdam Ordnance Datum (NAP): 60 metres, The two tunnel tubes each have a diameter of 11 metres, Each tunnel tube accommodates two 3.5 metre lanes, Designed for cars, motorcycles and truck traffic, A vehicle’s height may not exceed 4 metres, The incline at both entrance and exit ramps is 4.5%, Time to reach the other side is five minutes, The tunnel is located below the Westerschelde between Borssele (Zuid-Beveland) and Terneuzen (Zeeuws-Vlaanderen), It provides an optimal connection between Zeeland, Flanders and West Brabant, To the north, the tunnel road connects to the A58 motorway and to the south to the N61, Agricultural traffic is permitted to use the tunnel under certain conditions, Monitored 24 hours per day by the tunnel’s operator, Two tubes with 26 communicating passages; one every 250 metres, An emergency station every 50 metres; 135 in total, 52 cameras, 40 fans, 135 emergency stop signs, 550 lighting points, 468 detection loops embedded in the asphalt and 185 loudspeakers for the public address system, In the European Union barriers to national markets and national monopolies are gone. This concerns not only cassis and wine, but also complex an incorporeal products and services you cannot touch, but you have to trust. Financial products and services (which might Pose serious financial dangers to customers) can now easily be offered inall Member States with a 'European passport' (thereby expressly confirming thecountry of origin principle). Consumer protection is dealt with by strict and very detailed regulation. If you look at the Financial Services Action Plan (FSAP) of the European Commision, the completion of an integrated internal market for financial products and services seems to becoming closer. Financial products are increasingly offered in cross-order situations. Even old-established monopolies, like state monopolies for postal services and telecommunication, are by-gone or bound to vanish thanks to the European Union. Yetis it really the case that all barriers to cross-border services and all national monopolies are really gone? Unfortunately not. A turnover of several billion Euros inlotteries, sports betting and all other kinds of gambling (among them gaming machines, scratch cards and poker) - indeed a very large and steadily growing business segment-remain in the hands of such state monopolies. Most of the European lottery andsports betting market is dominated by monopolies that realise a yearly turnover of more than Euro 50 billion. Only a few Member States allow private operators to offer sports betting, the United Kingdom being the one with the longest tradition (and with several publicly listed companies). ~Project infopowerment Truthers Alliance~ Creating New kind of Unity against Tyranny Network of independent Thinkers Rebels dissidents activists artists writers researchers rappers web-masters talkshow-hosts video-editors protesters conference-organizers lecturers musicians deejays all eXposing & dismantling NWO Mafia Tyranny in their own unique way ~founder EXOMATRlXTV Appreciating DIFFERENT angles & tactics Being different is not a "crime" staying in your own integrity being appreciated for your talents. Russia in the European energy sector

05:20
The Russian Federation supplies a significant volume of fossil fuels and is the largest exporter of oil and natural gas to the European Union.
