If you can't access EMC Exchange 2010 do the following: Resolutions: Method 1: Close all MMC/EMC instances before proceeding. Open Registry Editor (regedit) as the user you run the EMC under. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14\AdminTools Look for value NodeStructureSetting. If it is there, back it up and then remove it. Method 2: Close all MMC/EMC Instances before proceeding. Open Powershell or Powershell IDE as the user you run the EMC under and execute the following command:. Remove-ItemProperty -Path HKCU:\Software\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\v14\AdminTools\ -Name NodeStructureSettings Close Powershell After performing either of the methods above to remove the registry entry you should be able to open the Exchange Management Console and it will discover another Exchange server and connect. fast fix trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed

02:16
How to solve "The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed." in an orderly fashion! now: Login as local administrator. start - run - cmd as administrator - TYPE THIS IN CMD: netdom resetpwd /s:DC1.fq.dn /ud:dn\administrator /pd:* enter the domain admin password, and you are good to go! If the command throws an error try exchanging /s: to /server: /ud: to /userid: and /pd: to /passwordd:* -yes it is correct Obviously exchange dc1.fq.dn with YOUR domain controllers fully qualified domain name, and dn\administrator with YOUR domain name and domain administrative account For this you need to have the netdom tool (if you dont have it pre-installed) which is a part of the RSAT from microsoft, found here https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee649281%28WS.10%29.aspx (along with some info and links to each RSAT corresponding to your OS version. Remember to enable the tool via control panel before you can start using it) works with server 2008, server 2012, server 2016 and every windows OS that has the RSAT tool installed. I Hope you find this useful! Thank you. :)

DAG failover Scenario - Mailscape - Exchange Server Monitoring Software

02:44
In this scenario, the DAG has had a switch over or fail over and the database is now on the wrong node. A DAG failover can cause performance issues especially in virtualized environments where one physical server is hosting several databases and there may not be sufficient CPU ram and other resources to run multiple active databases for extended periods of time. In this demonstration we will look at how Mailscape proactively tests every component of a DAG, or Database Available Group, in Exchange 2010 and 2013 to make sure they are functioning properly. A DAG failover does not always indicate a serious problem in and of itself, but it is one that you want to know about ASAP so you can deal with it and make sure it does not become a much bigger problem leading to an outage. Try Mailscape for FREE for 21 Day! http://enowsoftware.com/products-and-solutions/exchange-management-tools/ ENow Software

01:15:31
Exchange Server 2019 releases at the end of this year and we want to tell you about it! Come and learn what's new in 2019 and how our engineers changed the way they build the software. We talk about the features from the cloud we've added to on-premises, and tell you why this is the most reliable and dependable version of Exchange ever. Will we reduce disk IO AGAIN? Maybe. Will you be able to take advantage of bigger servers with more processors and memory? Perhaps. Will we finally make Exchange PowerShell easy to use? Unlikely, but it's worth coming to find out, isn't it?

Exchange LogParser - Manual task activation

02:12
Dump logs file to database at any time. In this video you'll see how to start database dump task manually (i.e. it's possible to do it at any time) in order to import these data to the previously configured tables (column names should configured as well). Software operation may be monitored using Windows Event Log Viewer. Built-in database log viewer displays 100 most recent events (ordered by entry's timestamp field). Since this is still a prototype , the software just imports data in log files stored directly in the filesystem and then moves it to a different folder (depending on whether it's processed correctly or if something failed). This will be different in the final release.

Windows Server 2008: create dns records

04:42
This video also works on Server 2003. We so frequently install DNS with Active Directory, we forget that it is a full featured service on its own. This video is just one aspect of many features available from Windows DNS. This how-to video on Microsoft Windows Server 2008 domain name service (DNS) shows how to manually create DNS records. The types of records are A and AAAA records for normal lookups in a IPv4 or IPv6 environment. (Glue record) PTR records for a reverse lookup zone. This is the opposite of DNS. It's IP Address mapping to DNS name. MX records for mail exchanger CNAME for canonical name records. These resolve one name to another name. It's like a nickname for machines. NS records to specify other name servers. SOA records to identify the server in charge of the domain. Providing training videos since last Tuesday. http://www.technoblogical.com Thanks for watching.

Debugging Email Bouncebacks in Google Apps

This videos is brought to you by Cloud Sherpas In Cloud Sherpas first video they discussed how to perform a MX Record Lookup on a Windows machine. The next step you should perform when you encounter failed email delivery is debugging the bounceback. In this video they go over a common email bounceback and all of the corresponding error messages. For example, a user may experience an error message, simply because the email address was typed incorrectly. Be sure to review the error message in its entirety! It's like that the error may be caused by reasons outside you domain, but it's important to make sure that your domain isn't causing the error (just to be safe).

DEF CON 22 - Dan Kaminsky - Secure Random by Default

01:38:53
Secure Random By Default Dan Kaminsky Chief Scientist, White Ops As a general rule in security, we have learned that the best way to achieve security is to enable it by default. However, across operating systems and languages, random number generation is always exposed via two separate and most assuredly unequal APIs -- insecure and default, and secure but obscure. Why not fix this? Why not make JavaScript and PHP and Java and Python and even libc rand() return strong entropy? What are the issues stopping us? Should we just shell back to /dev/urandom, or is there merit to userspace entropy gathering? How does fork() and virtualization impact the question? What of performance, and memory consumption, and headless machines? Turns out the above questions are not actually rhetorical. Just because a change might be a good idea doesn't mean it's a simple one. This will be a deep dive, but one that I believe will actually yield a fix for the repeated *real world* failures of random number generation systems. Dan Kaminsky has been a noted security researcher for over a decade, and has spent his career advising Fortune 500 companies such as Cisco, Avaya, and Microsoft.Dan spent three years working with Microsoft on their Vista, Server 2008, and Windows 7 releases. Dan is best known for his work finding a critical flaw in the Internet’s Domain Name System (DNS), and for leading what became the largest synchronized fix to the Internet’s infrastructure of all time. Of the seven Recovery Key Shareholders who possess the ability to restore the DNS root keys, Dan is the American representative. Dan is presently developing systems to reduce the cost and complexity of securing critical infrastructure.

Modifying & Updating Contact Information for Your Domain Name

02:05
The Update Contact Information section enables you to update information for your domain name. The contact information cannot be changed for domains that are private or have a pending status. Provide accurate contact information and keep it updated. Failure to do so may result in your domain name's cancellation or prevent you from transferring ownership. In addition to your basic contact information (registrant info), you are required to provide technical, administrative, and billing contacts. By default, we use your registrant information for all of these contacts. Registrant is The person or organization which owns the domain name Technical Contact is The contact for technical questions regarding the domain name Administrative Contact The contact with administrative control of the account Billing Contact The contact for billing questions regarding the domain name Modifying the registrant locks your domain name for 60 days, which rejects any transfer requests. To Modify the Contact Information for Your Domain Name 1. Log in to your Account Manager. 2. In the My Products section, click Manage Domains. 3. Select the domain names you want to modify. 4. Above your list of domain names, click Contact. 5. In the Update Contact Information section, you can change your Registrant, Administrative, Technical, and Billing contact information. If your updated contact information is the same for all of your contact types, select Copy to all contact types. 6. Click OK.

We'll review how cross-site request forgery, cross-site script inclusion and SQL injection attacks work and discuss their impact on Web 2.0, AJAX, mashup and social networking applications. We'll present industry-wide statistics on security vulnerabilities, cover emerging security trends and discuss the current state of security education.
