Amadeus Refunds  - Amadeus Selling Platform Connect
Amadeus refunds allows you to refund sale documents and electronic tickets quickly and easily. The refund transactions you enter search for data stored in the central ticketing server's document database. If the data is still available, the system uses it to create a refund record. Following are the Amadeus refund types: Manual Basic Refund: Allows you to refund fully open or partially flown e-tickets. All remaining open coupons (coupons with status O: Open or A: Airport Control) can be refunded. Manual Full Refund: Allows you to process the refund of fully open e-tickets without displaying the refund record first. Manual No Report Refund: Allows you to process the refund with the airline without displaying the refund record first. Manual Tax only Refund: Allows you to refund the taxes only. Manual Zero Refund: Allows you to process a refund with a total refund equal to zero. For example, you can refund an e-ticket with its TST total set to zero. Automatic (ATC) Basic Refund: An automated refund that automatically populates the refund record with refund data. Unlike ATC Full refund, you must then process the refund record. Automatic (ATC) Full Refund: Similar to ATC Basic but the refund is processed directly. You cannot update the refund record before processing. This type of refund is only applicable to fully open e-tickets.

A sample business day with Square Point of Sale: cash drawer management, accepting payments, and issuing refunds. Full transcript: "Let’s take you through a sample business day with the square register app. Before you open, make sure that your ipad is on, has sufficient power, and that you’re running the latest version of the square register app. If you accept cash, you should update your cash drawer. To do so, tap the three horizontal bars in the lower left hand corner to access your menu, Then tap “reports.” Then “current drawer.” Enter your starting cash amount, Then start the drawer. Now tap the menu icon again, And select “register.” In the “favorites” menu, or the “list” menu, you can tap any item you would like to add to the sale. Make modifiers or notes if necessary, [tap “pickles”] then tap add. To add a charge amount that’s not already assigned, tap the calculator in the lower right hand corner. Type in the dollar amount, [enter “5.00”] then tap the red plus sign. A running tally of items appears on the right-hand side. To delete an item from the tab, swipe left on the item name. Once you’ve rung up all the desired items, tap “charge.” Select the tender type or split the bill between cash and credit. If a customer is paying with credit, simply swipe the card like so. Next, the customer can tip and sign depending on your selected settings. Tap “new sale” and you’re ready for the next customer in line. As the day goes on, there’s bound to be a customer who asks for a receipt or refund. Just tap the three horizontal bars [tap menu] and select activity. If it was a recent transaction, scroll to the transaction you want. To locate older transactions, you can swipe the customer’s credit card, enter the receipt number, or the last four digits of the card. When you find the sale, you can re-send a receipt, Or issue a refund. Tap here to enter the amount— You can do a full or partial refund. Select a reason for the refund, And then tap the “refund” button on the top right. At the end of the day, tap the menu icon and go to reports. Select “current drawer” Then “end drawer,” Enter the actual amount at the bottom, And then tap “end drawer.” And “confirm.” Select “drawer history” to view all past drawers, Including details such as start time, end time, and expected dollar amount in the till. To email a drawer report, tap the mail icon in the top right corner, Enter an address, and tap send. And that should give you a good idea of a day in the life with square register."

BSE Bombay Stock Exchange, Dalal Street, Bombay. This is where ALL the action takes place in Mumbai! Even after the city's name was changed to Mumbai, they have gladly not changed it to the MBE. Imagine calling it the Mumbai Stock Exchange. It just doesn't sound right! As per Wikipedia: The Bombay Stock Exchange is the oldest exchange in Asia. It traces its history to the 1850s, when four Gujarati and one Parsi stockbroker would gather under banyan trees in front of Mumbai's Town Hall. The location of these meetings changed many times, as the number of brokers constantly increased. The group eventually moved to Dalal Street in 1874 and in 1875 became an official organization known as 'The Native Share & Stock Brokers Association'. In 1956, the BSE became the first stock exchange to be recognized by the Indian Government under the Securities Contracts Regulation Act. The Bombay Stock Exchange developed the BSE SENSEX in 1986, giving the BSE a means to measure overall performance of the exchange. In 2000 the BSE used this index to open its derivatives market, trading SENSEX futures contracts. The development of SENSEX options along with equity derivatives followed in 2001 and 2002, expanding the BSE's trading platform. Historically an open outcry floor trading exchange, the Bombay Stock Exchange switched to an electronic trading system in 1995. It took the exchange only fifty days to make this transition. This automated, screen-based trading platform called BSE On-line trading (BOLT) currently has a capacity of 8 million orders per day. The BSE has also introduced the world's first centralized exchange-based internet trading system, BSEWEBx.co.in to enable investors anywhere in the world to trade on the BSE platform. The BSE is currently housed in Phiroze Jeejeebhoy Towers at Dalal Street, Fort area. This is provided by an Identity Provider. Services like Facebook are able to create a claim about a user which holds some information about the user. For example, the user can then use their Facebook login to access other sites. Let's consider an example of a shopping center that allows free parking for those people that have travelled a long distance to shop there. In order to get their free parking, all they need to do is show their driver's license which has their address on it. The identity provider in this case would be the institution that issues driver's licenses. The user would be the person wanting free parking. The service would be the shopping center who has made the decision to allow free parking for people outside the area. Security Token Claims are generally packaged inside a security token. This allows the details of the claim to be checked to ensure they have not been changed. When working with Federation Services you may hear the term security token and claim used interchangeable. Essentially they are referring to the claim which may be packaged in a security token. Fictional Example In this example, a person is given a voucher to a cinema in order to obtain a movie ticket. The movie ticket can then be used to enter a cinema to see a movie. Federation Services often work in a simple way. Token Example In some cases you will hear wording to the effect that a server consumes claims. When Federation Services are setup like this, the following generally happens. The Federation Server will issue a claim to the user. The user will then give this claim to another Federation Server. Once this Federation Server is able to verify that claim is valid, the Federation Server will destroy the claim and create a new claim. The new claim is free to change the information in the old claim and add to it. For example, it may add which servers the user is allowed to access. This kind of information is subject to change and thus the original server creating this claim does not know this information when the first claim is created. Protocols There are a lot of different protocols that make Federation Services work. Federation Services is also very customizable so even though there are some key protocols to make the system work, depending on how it is configured will determine which protocols will be used. For example, there are a number of different protocols that can be used to create a security token. WS-Trust In order for Federation Services to exchange information between different Federation Services there needs to be a common protocol between the systems. The WS-Trust protocol is designed to allow the Federation Services to communicate with each other and exchange information like security tokens. There are a number of different versions of the protocol so it is a matter of making sure that both sides are using the same protocol. SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) SAML is one of the protocols that can be used to create security tokens. It is an open standard for authentication but can be used to create tokens. Once the token is created, it is transported to the other server using WS-Trust. It is possible to use other protocols however this one is the most common.
