Ascent Resources: Massive scope for Gas Production in Slovenia

20:25
Malcolm Graham-Wood, Oil Analyst & MalcysBlog discusses the latest with Ascent Resources CEO, Colin Hutchinson. What is Ascent Resources? Ascent Resources are a European Focuses AIM listed Oil & Gas exploration, production company. They currently control one project, the Petišovci tight gas project in northern Slovenia. They have been there for 10 years, they have discovered a commercial volume gas. It took a while to get the gas to market; mainly due to the bureaucracy issues in Slovenia.  They had a breakthrough last year, when they acquired a company that has pipeline access rights which runs in to Croatia. They then signed a deal with the largest Croatian gas company, INA, to sell them their gas untreated at the border. Giving them a route to market for the gas, and allowed them to fund raise to continue their projects and continue digging two wells. Which are now tied in to an existing processing facility. Which has been refurbished which can cope with the increased amount of gas. At the start of this month, they were able to start selling the gas to Croatia. Furthermore, this week, they got the news that they will be able to build their own processing plant. This is going to increase their market opportunities. They currently have two wells, PG10 & PG11A. Drilled in 2011, they have been completed and fully tied in. PG10's flow test in February flowed in 8 to 9 million cubic feet of gas per day. Whilst PG11A flow test showed it could flow around 2 million cubic feet of gas per day. There are a number of other wells in the plan that they can bring in to production soon. These wells were originally drilled in the 70's with less effective technology. Colin believes that going back and drilling them now, will allow for more success; much in the way they re-drilled PG10 & PG11A. They have completed some geological tests which suggests that there is 456 billion cubic foot of gas; which could be 20 years of gas extraction. However they are limited by the production agreement signed with INA which has an upper and lower limit to the amount of gas produced over the next 12 months. The reason for the upper limit was due to cautious estimates of what they could produce over the 12 months. There is scope to increase this upper limit however. Once they are comfortable with the well and processing plant behaviour, then they will increase the output. Malcolm then discusses the timeline for the new wells coming to production with Colin, and the predicted step up in production to around 35 millions cubic feet per day. Malcolm also discusses revenues and the future of Ascent resources with Colin. Get Recruitment Notifications of all private and govt jobs , Mock test details ,Previous year question papers only at Freshersworld.com – the No.1 jobsite for entry level candidates in India. (To register : http://freshersworld.com?src=Youtube ) – This video is all about “Careers and Training courses for Big Data There are a handful of working definitions for big data, but to me it is most simply put as data sets so large and complex that it becomes difficult or impossible to process them using traditional database management applications. Granted, the term may apply differently to different organizations. For a smaller company, facing hundreds of gigabytes of data for the first time may trigger a need to explore new tools. Other companies that generate tons of transactional data, like UPS, wouldn't flinch with their existing toolsets until they hit tens or hundreds of terabytes. For freshers who wants to start learning big data here are a few tips: 1. Begin with the basics: If you are looking at building a career in big data, you can start with developing the core aptitudes such as curiosity, agility, statistical fluency, research, scientific rigor and skeptical nature. You have to decide which facet of data investigation (data wrangling, management, exploratory analysis, prediction) are you looking at acquiring. The first step to learning big data is to develop basic level of familiarity with programming languages. 2. Experience in programming languages: Begin with developing basic data literacy and an analytic mindset by building knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Pig Latin and HiveQL. Figure out where you want to apply your data analytics skills to describe, predict, and inform business decisions in the specific areas of marketing, human resources, finance, and operations. 3. Expertise in Hadoop: Developing knowledge about Hadoop Map-Reduce and Java is essential if you’re looking to be a high-performance data software engineer. 4. What are you looking for? If you are looking for a career switch to big data, begin with developing the skill sets required to work with Hadoop. A well-rounded understanding of Hadoop requires experience in large-scale distributed systems and knowledge of programming languages. 5. Data Analytics Skills: If you want to learn the fundamentals and want to get an indepth understanding of every aspect of Big Data, the resource material provided by Apache’s library is very useful. The Hadoop programme offered by Apache is an open-source software for reliable, scalable, distributed computing. Some of the other programmes offered are HBase Hive, Mahout, Pig ZooKeeper. 6. Online Courses: The big data universe is still very young, to get a well rounded expertise in big data it is important to learn and hone skills related to the subject. Decide on the course based on the skill set you're looking to get. Just by dedicating some time and energy, you can tackle learning big data with these free online classes. Applications of Big Data Big data includes problems that involve such large data sets and solutions that require a complex connecting the dots. You can see such things everywhere. 1. Quora and Facebook use Big data tools to understand more about you and provide you with a feed that you in theory should find it interesting. The fact that the feed is not interesting should show how hard the problem is. 2. Credit card companies analyze millions of transactions to find patterns of fraud. 3. There are similar problems in defense, retail, genomics, pharma, healthcare that requires a solution. The companies offering jobs on Big Data are : Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd, Accenture, Dev Solutions So let us summarize as Big Data is a group of problems and technologies related to the availability of extremely large volumes of data that businesses want to connect and understand. The reason why the sector is hot now is that the data and tools have reached a critical mass. This occurred in parallel with years of education effort that has convinced organizations that they must do something with their data treasure. Project Management Simplified: Learn The Fundamentals of PMI's Framework ✓

✅The best jobs no longer go to the best candidates. Times have changed. They now go to the people with the best strategies. We transformed over 5,000 careers. Join me at LIG and let me show you how yours will be the next career transformed; https://goo.gl/chwjpr Welcome to this week's episode where I make project management simple for you. To make it applicable to the majority of the audience, I am teaching Project Management Institute's (PMI) project management framework. ________________________________________________ Textbooks and frameworks are always boring. So, to make project management more interesting for you, I ran a project to demonstrate what steps to take and when. You won't regret spending 50 minutes to learn the basics of a wonderful practice called project management. You can also download all the templates I used in the session here (no need to register); https://thecareermastery.com/career-tips/project-management-simplified/ Although I strongly recommend you watch the entire session without skipping, for those of you who are just looking for snippets of information, you may find below the index of the video; 03:03 What is a project, program, and portfolio and how are they different from operations? 04:08 Project = Project Life Cycle + Project Management Process 04:43 Project Life Cycle 06:52 Process Groups 09:27 LIG, PMP certification or CAPM certification, which one is right for you? [Hint: I am biased!] 11:53 Process Groups - Initiation 13:06 Process Groups - Initiation - Project Charter 16:50 Process Groups - Initiation - Stakeholder Identification 18:17 Process Groups - Planning 20:30 Process Groups - Planning - Collecting Requirements 22:45 Process Groups - Planning - Defining the Scope 24:41 Process Groups - Planning - Scope Baseline 25:12 Process Groups - Planning - Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) 32:22 Process Groups - Planning - WBS Dictionary & Scope Creep 34:39 Process Groups - Planning - Time Management / Developing a Schedule 36:00 Process Groups - Planning - Gantt Chart 37:38 Process Groups - Planning - Fast Tracking a Project & Project Crashing 38:52 Process Groups - Planning - Cost Management 39:42 Process Groups - Planning - Budget development (for PMP or CAPM takers) 41:02 Process Groups - Executing 42:04 Process Groups - Executing - Gold Plating 43:16 Process Groups - Monitoring and Controlling 45:00 Process Groups - Monitoring and Controlling - Earned Value 47:57 Process Groups - Closing Process Group _______________________________________________________________ What is even a project? It definitely has a sexy tone to it right? Project… I just love the way it sounds. I wonder how cool it must sound in French. Proje… Well, project is a temporary endeavor to create a unique solution. Yeah that’s operations. No Well, the difference between a project and operations is fairly simple. A project ends. So, it’s temporary. You implement your project, you close it, you create a unique product/service/ or whatever outcome you wanted then you are done. Whereas in operations, it’s on-going and repetitive. You may have also heard about the terms program and portfolio. Let me just quickly explain them here. Program is multiple projects put together. Combined. And Portfolio is similarly. Multiple programs put together. So, it’s project, program, portfolio. Now before I go further, and dive deep. You need to understand something crucial. To run any project, you need 2 methodologies. The first one is a project life cycle and the second one is project management process. Most people confuse these 2. And if these are not clear, you can kiss the PMP certification goodbye. It’s absolutely amazing how many content creators in YouTube confuse these two. They are not interchangeable. You cannot afford to confuse a project life cycle with a project management process. Don’t worry I am going to make it very simple for you. Let’s start with Project Life Cycle. Project Life Cycle is unique to a project, to an industry, to your needs. It’s highly customizable. Think of it like this; a human development is a project. So, your life cycle is; 1) Conceiving 2) Birth 3) Childhood 4) Teenage hood. Teenage hood. Is that a word? Teenaging? 5) Adulthood 6) And death Easy stuff right? So, now if it was an IT project. I am not an IT but it would like something like this; High-level design Detailed Design Coding Testing Installation And Turnover This is project life cycle. The term cycle is a bit confusing here. I think. But who knows. This video covers; project management project management institute pmp project management professional certification project life cycle project management PMI managing a project project management fundamentals fundamentals of project management project management for beginners project management course

What is Big Data?

05:47
What is Big Data (2018)? (In 5 mins) Big Data basically refers to, huge volume of data that cannot be, stored and processed using the traditional approach within the given time frame. The next big question that comes to our mind is? How huge this data needs to be? In order to be classified as Big Data? There is a lot of misconception, while referring the term Big Data. We usually use the term big data, to refer to the data, that is, either in gigabytes or terabytes or petabytes or exabytes or anything that is larger than this in size. This does not defines the term Big Data completely. Even a small amount of data can be referred to as Big Data depending on the context it is used. Let me take an example and try to explain it to you. For instance if we try to attach a document that is of 100 megabytes in size to an email we would not be able to do so. As the email system would not support an attachment of this size. Therefore this 100 megabytes of attachment with respect to email can be referred to as Big Data. Let me take another example and try to explain the term Big Data. Let us say we have around 10 terabytes of image files, upon which certain processing needs to be done. For instance we may want to resize and enhance these images within a given time frame. Suppose if we make use of the traditional system to perform this task. We would not be able to accomplish this task within the given time frame. As the computing resources of the traditional system would not be sufficient to accomplish this task on time. Therefore this 10 terabytes of image files can be referred to as Big Data. Now let us try to understand Big Data using some real world examples. I believe you all might be aware of some the popular social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus and YouTube. Each of this site, receives huge volume of data on a daily basis. It has been reported on some of the popular tech blogs that. Facebook alone receives around 100 terabytes of data each day. Whereas Twitter processes around 400 million tweets each day. As far as LinkedIn and Google Plus are concerned each of the site receives tens of terabytes of data on a daily basis. And finally coming to YouTube, it has been reported that, each minute around 48 hours of fresh videos are uploaded to YouTube. You can just imagine, how much volume of data is being stored and processed on these sites. But as the number of users keep growing on these sites, storing and processing this data becomes a challenging task. Since this data holds a lot of valuable information, this data needs to be processed in a short span of time. By using this valuable information, companies can boost their sales and generate more revenue. By making using of the traditional computing system, we would not be able to accomplish this task within the given time frame, as the computing resources of the traditional system would not be sufficient for processing and storing, such a huge volume of data. This is where Hadoop comes into picture, we would be discussing Hadoop in more detail in the later sessions. Therefore we can term this huge volume of data as Big Data. Let me take another real world example related to the airline industry and try to explain the term Big Data. For instance the aircrafts, while they are flying keep transmitting data to the air traffic control located at the airports. The air traffic control uses this data to track and monitor the status and progress of the flight on a real time basis. Since multiple aircrafts would be transmitting this data simultaneously to the air traffic control. A huge volume of data gets accumulated at the air traffic control within a short span of time. Therefore it becomes a challenging task to manage and process this huge volume of data using the traditional approach. Hence we can term this huge volume of data as Big Data. I hope you all might have understood, "What is Big Data". In this section we’re going to look at Budget Costs. I’m going to explain to you why people use Budget Cost, why you may want to use Budget Cost and how you can compare progress on a project with a project budget, with specific reference to costs. Now I should point out that you can pretty much do the same thing with Budget Work. And the approach with Budget Work is actually very similar but we’re going to concentrate here on Budget Costs. So I’m back here at the house build project. This is version 03. If I go to the Resource Sheet you’ll see that currently the Resource Sheet is empty. And in fact there are no costs or resources assigned at all on this project yet. So one thing that I might do very early on in a project like this is prepare a budget. Now this wouldn’t necessarily relate to any very accurate estimate of cost but I might say, for example, well I think that the labor costs are going to be $40,000 and the material costs are going to be $30,000 and the legal costs are going to be $10,000 and so on. So I might come up with some budget figures. And then during the course of the project I’m going to want to see how the project is progressing against my budget. Now rather than do all of those all I’m going to do is take one element and show you how you might deal with one element and then the other elements would be dealt with in an equivalent way. Now one thing that I must make very clear at this point is that you shouldn’t confuse budget costs with baseline cost. A baseline is a copy, a saved copy of a detailed schedule at a point in time. In fact it can be a detailed or perhaps not very detailed schedule, but it’s a copy of the schedule which will include details of start dates, end date, costs, etcetera, whatever has been added at that point. Budget costs are assigned at the project level. And although we can compare the budget cost with our actual costs in whatever categories we’ve set up it’s not the same as comparing progress, actuals that is, with a baseline. So let’s use as our example a budget cost for services. And by services we mean things like connecting the house to main services and getting an inspection by a local building inspector. So first of all let’s go to the Resource Sheet and we’re going to set up a resource called Service Costs. The type is Cost and I’m also going to create a group. I’ll explain the use of the group in just a moment. Sorry, we couldn't fit the entire video transcription here since YouTube only allows 5000 characters.

04:26
https://acadgild.com/big-data/big-data-development-training-certification/ Big Data and Hadoop Developer 2018 | Big Data as Career Path | Introduction to Big Data and Hadoop Big Data is growing explosively bigger & bigger every day. Get to know what makes Big Data the next big thing. What is Big Data all about? Big Data has been described in multiple ways by the industry experts. Let’s have a look at what Wikipedia has to say. Big Data is a term for datasets that are so large or complex that traditional data processing applications are inadequate. To put it in simple words, Big Data is the large volumes of structured and unstructured data. Did You Know? • According to Wikibon and IDC, 2.4 quintillion bits are generated every day? • Did you know, the data from our digital world will grow from 4.4 trillion gigabytes in 2013 to 44 trillion gigabytes in 2020? • In addition to that, data from embedded systems will grow from 2% in 2013 to 10% in 2020 The sheer volume of the data generated these days has made it absolutely necessary to re-think how we handle them. And with growing implementation of Big Data in sectors like banking, logistics, retail, e-commerce and social media, the volume of data is expected to grow even higher. Other than its Sheer size, what else makes Big data so important? • Mountains of data that can be gathered and analyzed to discover insights ad make better decisions. • Using Big data, social media comments can be analyzed in a far timelier and relevant manner offering a richer data set. • With Big Data, banks can now use information to constantly monitor their client’s transaction behaviors in real time. • Big Data is used for trade analytics, pre-trade decision-support analytics, sentiment measurement, predictive Analytics etc. • Organizations in media and entertainment industry use Big Data to analyze customer data along with behavioral data to create detailed customer profiles. • In the manufacturing and natural resources industry, Big Data allows for predictive modeling to support decision making. What is Big Data and its importance in the near future Gartner analyst Doug Laney introduced the 3Vs concept in 2001. Since then, Big Data has been further classified, based on the 5Vs. • Volume – The vast amounts of data generated every second. • Variety – The different types of data which contribute to the problem, such as text, videos, Images, audio files etc. • Velocity – The speed at which new data is generated and moves around. • Value – Having an access to Big Data in no good unless we turn it into value • Veracity - Refers to the messiness or trustworthiness of the data. Why is Big Data considered as an excellent career path? According to IDC forecast, the Big Data market is predicted to be worth of $46.34 billion by 2018 and is expected to have a sturdy growth over the next five years. Big Data Salary: As per Indeed, the average salary for Big Data professionals is about 114,000 USD per annum, which is around 98% higher than average salaries for all job postings nationwide. And Glassdoor quotes the median salary for Big Data professionals to be 104,850 USD per annum. Big Data professionals get a high percentage of hike in salary and Data scientists get a very good hike up to 8.90% YOY. As the Big Data market grows, so does the demand for the skilled workforce? According to Wanted Analytics, the demand for Big Data skills is to increase by 118% over the previous year. Do you need more reasons to believe in the power of Big Data? EMC, IBM, Cisco, Oracle, Adobe, Amazon, Accenture are just a few of the top companies who are constantly looking for Big Data skills. Characteristics central to capitalism include private property, capital accumulation, wage labor, voluntary exchange, a price system, and competitive markets. In a capitalist market economy, decision-making and investment are determined by the owners of the factors of production in financial and capital markets, and prices and the distribution of goods are mainly determined by competition in the market. Economists, political economists, and historians have adopted different perspectives in their analyses of capitalism and have recognized various forms of it in practice. These include laissez-faire or free market capitalism, welfare capitalism, and state capitalism. Different forms of capitalism feature varying degrees of free markets, public ownership, obstacles to free competition, and state-sanctioned social policies. The degree of competition in markets, the role of intervention and regulation, and the scope of state ownership vary across different models of capitalism; the extent to which different markets are free, as well as the rules defining private property, are matters of politics and policy. Most existing capitalist economies are mixed economies, which combine elements of free markets with state intervention, and in some cases economic planning. Market economies have existed under many forms of government, in many different times, places, and cultures. The development of capitalist societies, however, marked by a universalization of money-based social relations, a consistently large and system-wide class of workers who must work for wages, and a capitalist class which dominates control of wealth and political power, developed in Western Europe in a process that led to the Industrial Revolution. Capitalist systems with varying degrees of direct government intervention have since become dominant in the Western world and continue to spread. Capitalism has been criticized for establishing power in the hands of a minority capitalist class that exists through the exploitation of a working class majority; for prioritizing profit over social good, natural resources, and the environment; and for being an engine of inequality and economic instabilities. Supporters believe that it provides better products through competition, creates strong economic growth, yields productivity and prosperity that greatly benefits society, as well as being the most efficient system known for allocation of resources...

Do You Have a Tourism Strategy? Tourism Talk with David Mora

27:34
What is tourism strategy? Do you have a tourism strategy? In this interview, we are going to talk with David Mora, tourism consultant, about tourism and he is going to share with us his knowledge, experience, and will also guide you more towards tourism strategy and having it. David Mora has been working in tourism for his entire career and he has even studied tourism in Spain, his hometown, and then he kept studying and even done his PhD also in tourism. "tourism is my passion and it is my work at the same time, here in Spain and also sometimes involves international travels." How did you become so much interested in tourism that it became your career now? "Well, I don't actually recall because its a long time ago already, but I think in the beginning I was more interested in foreign languages. Some of my relatives and friends were travelling and studying abroad and that somehow intrigued me and so when I was choosing between different careers I picked the tourism path." Can you tell us more about your role as a tourism consultant? "At the beginning, I was working as one of those tourism students in one of the hotels in my home town in Bilbao as a front desk agent and after two years I decided to do a masters degree in tourism management which gave me a much broader scope in the tourism industry in which there are many other roles that you could take. So I applied for a grand by the national government by the Spanish tourist board, I got it, and then I was moved to Germany and then Poland to work as a representative for Spain in Poland." "The consultancy role seemed to me very dynamic, very interesting, and so I applied for two different consultancy agencies in Spain and I got one job as a junior consultant, and that's when my consultancy career started back in 1999. Most of my work was for public institutions during those 18 years of work in the field." "The project that I developed was a strategic plan for touristic destinations, even though I have done other things and other stuff, but that's the most usual project that I have performed." Do you think that music in tourism or culture should be thought of or merged as one? "In Spain, we have a good climate and that makes it good to promote Spain as a music destination, especially those festivals that play along the seaside, there in the summer time, so I would say its a mass segment but its a growing one, so we are trying to diversify our interests and our resources, not just focusing on sun and sea but also trying to attract other types of visitors who are more interested in culture, heritage, food." What are your projects at the moment or how you run your consultancy organization? "Currently am a freelance consultant, I have been working for different companies, first when I was living in Barcelona and then about 40 years ago when I moved to Madrid, and now I went solo and even though its sometimes me who got hire, sometimes I got hired by other companies who presented a bit for an international tender and they need someone more or less who fits in my profile. Now, I work on two strategic plans for two municipalities." "I also teach very often in different business schools and universities, everything travel related." If you want to know more about tourism consultancy and even get to know a little bit about Spain for your travelling plans, you have to watch the full video with David More who is sharing his knowledge and expertise in the field. You could check some of the other videos related to tourism on our YouTube channel, such as the talk with Mike Ball who told us more about sustainable tourism and why it is that much important, you could check the video through this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mG6hdRT0XV4&t=6s). There is also another interview we have conducted with Cian Landers about Belfast tourism and hospitality management, which you could also check through this link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnJrJuEmCGs&t=970s). You could also visit our website www.profiletree.com for more general information. -- Who is a tourism consultant? A tourism consultant is there to assess clients wants and needs, and they can provide options about the best travel options for the visitors. They also work to understand their clients in order to build long-term relationships with them. The main job of tourism consultant is to make the client's trip as free of problems and enjoyable as possible. Tourism strategy on the other hand is defined as the temporary movement of people to destinations outside their normal places of work and residence, the activities undertaken during their stay in those destinations, and the facilities created to cater for their needs. If you have any questions, send us over through our website or else comment below your questions and we would be pleased to answer them as soon as possible. Enjoy watching this video about tourism consultancy and strategy.

In some cases, authors may be their own publishers, meaning: originators and developers of content also provide media to deliver and display the content for the same. Traditionally, the term refers to the distribution of printed works such as books (the "book trade") and newspapers. With the advent of digital information systems and the Internet, the scope of publishing has expanded to include electronic resources, such as the electronic versions of books and periodicals, as well as micropublishing, websites, blogs, video game publishers and the like. Publishing includes the stages of the development, acquisition, copyediting, graphic design, production -- printing (and its electronic equivalents), and marketing and distribution of newspapers, magazines, books, literary works, musical works, software and other works dealing with information, including the electronic media. Publication is also important as a legal concept: - As the process of giving formal notice to the world of a significant intention, for example, to marry or enter bankruptcy; - As the essential precondition of being able to claim defamation; that is, the alleged libel must have been published, and - For copyright purposes, where there is a difference in the protection of published and unpublished works... The process of publishing Book and magazine publishers spend a lot of their time buying or commissioning copy; newspaper publishers, by contrast, usually hire their own staff to produce copy, although they may also employ freelance journalists, called stringers. At a small press, it is possible to survive by relying entirely on commissioned material. But as activity increases, the need for works may outstrip the publisher's established circle of writers. For works written independently of the publisher, writers often first submit a query letter or proposal directly to a literary agent or to a publisher. Submissions sent directly to a publisher are referred to as unsolicited submissions, and the majority come from previously unpublished authors. If the publisher accepts unsolicited manuscripts, then the manuscript is placed in the slush pile, which publisher's readers sift through to identify manuscripts of sufficient quality or revenue potential to be referred to acquisitions editors for review. The acquisitions editors send their choices to the editorial staff... Unsolicited submissions have a very low rate of acceptance, with some sources estimating that publishers ultimately choose about three out of every ten thousand unsolicited manuscripts they receive. Many book publishing companies around the world maintain a strict "no unsolicited submissions" policy and will only accept submissions via a literary agent. This shifts the burden of assessing and developing writers out of the publishing company and onto the literary agents. At these companies, unsolicited manuscripts are thrown out, or sometimes returned, if the author has provided pre-paid postage. Established authors are often represented by a literary agent to market their work to publishers and negotiate contracts. Literary agents take a percentage of author earnings (varying between 10 to 15 per cent) to pay for their services... For a submission to reach publication it must be championed by an editor or publisher who must work to convince other staff of the need to publish a particular title. An editor who discovers or champions a book that subsequently becomes a best-seller may find their own reputation enhanced as a result of their success... Book publishing Book publishers represent less than a sixth of the publishers in the United States. Most books are published by a small number of very large book publishers... Within the book publishing industry, the publisher of record for a book is the entity in whose name the book's ISBN is registered. The publisher of record may or may not be the actual publisher...

Improve your leadership and negotiation skills: Value and seek trust-building ingredients essential to the creation of lasting agreements; Identify the various tactics used by coercive and strident negotiators; Develop constructive ways to prevent and manage hostility and deadlocks; Practice negotiations under increasingly complex situations, and with demanding negotiators; Detect how to call for a recess or a graceful exit when the face-to-face atmosphere is neither adding substantive nor relational value; Build valuable allies based on common interests; Act with integrity and never forget the common good and the needs of all constituencies, be they present at the negotiation table or not. 5. Prepare a Project Execution Plan (PEP) and implement accordingly: Develop a sound work-breakdown structure; Allocate scarce resources across multiple projects taking into account capability, technology, risks, cost, slack, free float, personal needs and strategic leverage; Estimate time and schedule work while taking into account time-related risks including downtime, delays, holidays and surprise events; Budget under uncertainty and explore different scenarios for commitment and cash flow; Integrate the project plan by linking schedules, resources and costs to quality and work progress; Prepare earned-value charts that integrate work accomplishment; Evaluate actual progress against projections, re-assess risks, and take corrective action; Exercise proper and selective control over the project destiny with an appropriate balance between soft- and hard-control measures.
