In Informatica Developer, you can create a workflow and add a mapping to the workflow when you want to run multiple mappings sequentially. Or, you can add a mapping to a workflow when you want to run commands to perform steps before and after the mapping runs. The Data Integration Service uses the instructions configured in the workflow to run the objects. In this demo, we will create, deploy, and run a workflow. The workflow first runs a mapping. Then, it runs a command to print a summary of the mapping run to a text file.

Backing up your files is a hugely necessary and sometimes frustrating step in your photography and video workflow. I show you my backup solution that keeps me moving forwards and all my files safe. Drives fail, data corrupts and if you only have one copy you are vulnerable. So from the start, I’m out in the field and I am photographing, filming and creating my content. With some cameras the backup starts straight away with dual cards. With cameras like the Canon 800D or a drone they only have one card slot so as soon as that picture or footage is captured I’m vulnerable. I want to move onto the next step as soon as possible. I get home or back to where I’m staying and I want to dump the cards as soon as possible and transfer the files to the computer. Laptops now don’t have massive storage capacity so if I’m travelling I’ll take something like an SSD to copy the files to. I can now relax a bit because I have two copies, on the computer and on the cards. I will then generally try to edit my footage or images from the internal SSD of my laptop because it’s faster. After that it’s then time to transfer the files to the main external hard drive or server. Until very recently I was using using a 5TB drive. It’s decent but it’s one drive and it’s slow compared to an SSD which makes re-edits unpleasant to do to and slow. So I’ve recently upgraded to this the Drobo 5D3. This uses a kind of RAID 5 which increases speed because it’s writing data to all the drives at the same time and also gives you redundancy. If one drive fails I can just pull it out and pop in another and my data is safe. This one is thunderbolt 3 so it’s also nice and fast and you can actually edit 4K footage straight off this. In the Drobo I’ve got three 10TB seagate drives which gives me 18TB of storage with that redundancy. This is pretty expensive and that’s where the pain comes. All this time and money spent is not glamorous but you need to spend it to keep your files safe. Now the next step is to backup all this on a separate drive to again give us that redundancy with two copies. You can use time machine or Acronis to do this and you need to do this even with a RAID system like The drobo because if the drobo unit itself fails then your data is gone. At the moment I am using an 8TB seagate drive and I’ve copied all previous years work to the separate drives. I then back all this up again using the cloud. Offsite backup is important in a case of fire or theft. I am currently using Backblaze which is a kind of set it and forget system that you get for a small monthly fee and you can back up and restore your files. You can access them online like Google drive or dropbox. I’ll put a link down below for you to check that out and you can store unlimited data and that includes external HD’s. Now the last step with your photos that we don't immediately think of is to print them. There is a theory blowing around that modern human history and knowledge is currently at massive risk because it is all stored digitally. Printing your pictures guards against this and it also just an extremely satisfying thing to do anyway. I created this diagram a little while ago to show my backup workflow so feel free to screen shot it and use it as a reference. Anyway please share this video with someone who needs to hear the backup message and leave a comment down below to let me know what you think. Out.

When fulfilling a change request, there is often a need to split the workload between multiple people or teams. On a process driven change it is important to allow these activities to run in parallel in order for the change to be implemented in a timely and structured fashion. The Parallel Processing in Hornbill’s Business Process Manager allows a process owner to easily configure multiple process streams within a single workflow. Parallel processing is designed using start and finish parallel processing nodes which can be included at any point within a workflow. The Start Parallel Processing option lets you branch out into multiple streams of processing, and the Finish Parallel Processing option brings all the streams back to a single point where all processing from each stream must be completed before continuing. This simple configuration brings efficiency into your process, making sure that activities can be coordinated to make the best use of time.

Forgot to mention: 1. When your 25 minutes is up, the red apple will change to green. You must click on the green apple to start your 5 minutes free time. 2. Changing the options sometimes doesn't work with a right click and you will inadvertently start the timer. The problem is, once the timer starts, the only way to stop it is to disable or delete the extension in your Chrome Extensions settings. Or, if you have a Chrome Extension manager like Extensity, you can also disable the extension from there.

4 tips for a better workflow In this video I go over four things I do inside the MPC LIVE standalone that I feel save me some time and give me a better workflow. #1. change your startup screen you can bypass the factory demos on start up or use an option that gives you access to your most recent projects. #2. organize samples/create a favorites folder I put all my go to samples in a favorites folder at the top of the list in my SD card drive, you can also easily save all your best sampls to the internal/mydocuments/samples location by default. #3. ditch the midi/sample your performance set your output of a keygroup program to 3/4 and plug those outputs back into the LIVEs inputs. Sample yourself rather than recording midi notes. This overtime will improve your timing and help you make musical decisions a lot faster. #4. templates are the best way to eliminate repetitive steps everytime you start a beat. In this video we're going to show you how to create a simple task management workflow. Our workflow will allow us to put a new task to our backlog, mark it as being executed when we start working on it, submit the task for review, and mark it as completed, if the review was successful. Also let’s add an option to reject execution of a task and remove it from the backlog, and an option to send the task back from review if not done properly. Before you proceed, we recommend getting acquainted with the Visual Designer's UI in our previous video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0gKSew-ivs

ON1 Layers will no longer be a separate module. Instead, the power of layers will be accessible within the non-destructive workflow inside of Develop and Effects. This will allow for creating or editing multi-layered files, including raw files, and keep the non-destructive settings for each photo layer. Customers will also be able to move, size, and mask each layer. More importantly, and a new concept, each layer has its non-destructive settings, all the way back to the original file. What’s most exciting is if you are working with raw files, powerful adjustments like exposure, highlights, shadows, and camera profiles can now be processed using the raw data in a layered photo workflow. All without having to change modules or applications. ON1 Photo RAW works as a standalone, Photoshop plug-in & Lightroom Plug-in. *How To Save Your Work in Snapseed From Google* The way that the *Save* button in Snapseed from Google functions differs between iOS and Android devices. I explore these differences and the way that they impact your mobile image processing workflow in this tutorial. I start with the options that Snapseed for iOS offers first in this tutorial and then I dig into how things differ on an Android device. Key Points: - I strongly recommend using the Save A Copy option whenever possible if you are improving your mobile images with Snapseed on an iOS device. Choosing the Save A Copy option in Snapseed for iOs protects your original photo plus it creates a new image that includes all of your Snapseed changes. On iOS devices, you can open up this file at a later date with Snapseed and continue to improve your image without losing any of your editing flexibility. - Snapseed on Android devices always uses a version of the Saves A Copy command. There is no option to overwrite your original image in Snapseed for Android. Unfortunately though, when Snapseed saves a copy of your work on an Android device it does not create a file that you can continue to revise. If you are using an Android device then you need to be aware that you cannot easily undo a mistake, without starting all over, after you have saved your edits and moved on to another photo in Snapseed. ------------ Learn Adobe Photoshop Lightroom, Adobe Lightroom CC for Mobile, Snapseed from Google, and more with our complete video training courses at http://www.focusphotoschool.com. This tutorial will show you how Premiere Pro will create and attach proxies so you can work on large frame sizes on slower systems. It also covers creating custom Ingest Presets in case you find the included presets don't fit your needs. Note from Adobe: The supported workflow allows Proxies with other frame sizes and combinations that are divisible by the full resolution clip (for example - 1920 x 1080 1.0 full resolution and 960 x 540 1.o PAR Proxy or 1440 x 1080 1.33 PAR Proxy), but other parameters such as fielding, frame rate, duration, and audio channels must match. The only enforcement of matching parameters for Proxy or Full Resolution clips is for the audio channels. When there is an audio channel mismatch Premiere Pro shows an 'Attach Failure' dialog. If you dismiss this dialog, it takes you back to the Attach dialog to choose a clip with matching audio channels. If the other parameters do not match between Full resolution and Proxy: frame rate, duration, fielding and/or non-divisible frame size/PAR combination, then these are allowed with no warning and result in several issues. Free Lightroom Preset Pack: http://geni.us/LightroomPresets Lightroom Presets Tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMX8q64nZ5M This is the basic workflow I follow to edit Instagram photos in Adobe Lightroom Classic. Let me know if you have any questions about it. FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM https://www.instagram.com/lex.ells/ 1. Import Shortcut Ctrl + Shift + I There’s a few ways to import photos, you can click import and look for the location, go to file then import, or drag and drop the image files from your folder into the library main window. 2. Select and Develop Shortcut D Select the image to edit and click Develop at the top right or use the shortcut. Opening up the develop module there are presets and history in the left column, the image window in the middle, and the editing parameters and sliders in the right. 3 Crop and Level Shortcut R Click the rectangle or hit R on your keyboard and crop the image. Level it by clicking and holding the cursor while rotating the image. 4 Basics White balance, temperature, and tint. Try auto it's a good way to start if you’re still figuring all of this out. Up the shadows and down the highlights. If you ever mess up the photo you can reset the individual slider by double clicking on the name or reset the entire edit by clicking reset at the bottom right. Note. It helps if you shoot raw image files but it’s not essential.By using raw images you can pull more detail out of them so you might be able to save some information from the shadows and highlights that you wouldn’t otherwise. There are a couple of downsides with raw. You will have to process them because not all devices can use raw and they occupy more space on your drive. 5 Tone Curve Make three points on the curve. Use a s curve and soften the blacks.Brightness and contrast of an image 6 Colors Hue, saturation, and luminance. Play around with all the sliders to see what you like and try to develop a style. 7 Calibration Going for a teal and orange look is common and helps provide a nice contrast between people subjects and their surroundings. Lift the red primary, lift the green primary and drop the blue primary to get the teal and orange look. Hit the backslash key to compare the edit to the original. 8 Detail Use color and luminance parameters to reduce noise. (Noise is digital and grain in for film) You can sharpen your image also. 9 Effects A vignette can help draw attention to the subject of the image. 10 Export Shortcut Ctrl + Shift + E When your done hit the l key to see the image isolated in black. Ctrl + shift + E to export your image. Select the file destination. When you’ve edited several photos you can start to find a style that you like and make presets to speed up your workflow.
