Today we will show you how to set up Corporate Exchange Email with the Samsung Focus® 2. First we will show you how to configure an email account. To begin from the Start screen, tap Email setup. Please Note: E-mail setup will only be displayed for users who have not yet configured an email account. If you already set up an email account, from the inbox, tap Setting and then select Add email account. Now tap Outlook. Next enter the entire Email account address and password, and then tap sign in. Please note: Contact your company IT Administrator for settings or additional support. Here enter the domain if requested, and then tap sign in. Please note: For users with a blank domain, leave this field empty, and then tap sign in. If a notification screen is displayed, tap advanced to enter additional account information. Please Note: Tap Try again to edit the previous screen. Now enter the remaining account information, and then tap sign in. • Email address: Tap this to change your email address. • Password: Tap this to change your email account's password. • User name: Tap this to change your email account's user name. • Domain: Tap this to change your email server domain. Please note: For the users with a blank domain, leave this field empty. • Server: Tap this to change your email account's server address. • Server requires encrypted (SSL) connection: Tap this to check this option to enable SSL. Please Note: This option is hidden by default. Tap Show all settings to display. • Account name: Tap this to change the title for your email account. Please Note: This option is hidden by default. Tap Show all settings to display. • Download new content: Tap this to change the desired email synchronization intervals. Please Note: This option is hidden by default. Tap Show all settings to display. • Download Email from: Tap this to change the oldest age of the email to synchronize. Please Note: This option is hidden by default. Tap Show all settings to display. • Content to sync: Tap this to check the desired contact to synchronize for this account. Please Note: This option is hidden by default. Tap Show all settings to display. If your corporate e-mail server requires a device security password to be created, a screen similar to this one may be displayed. If so tap set. Here you will be prompted to enter the desired password, and re-enter the password for confirmation, and then tap done. For First time users you will be taken to your email inbox. New messages will be downloaded and displayed here. You can now test the setup by sending an email.
