Best known as the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad—the #1 personal finance book of all time—Robert Kiyosaki has challenged and changed the way tens of millions of people around the world think about money. He is an entrepreneur, educator, and investor who believes that each of us has the power to makes changes in our lives, take control of our financial future, and live the rich life we deserve.
With perspectives on money and investing that often contradict conventional wisdom, Robert has earned an international reputation for straight talk, irreverence, and courage and has become a passionate and outspoken advocate for financial education.
Robert’s most recent books—Why the Rich Are Getting Richer and More Important Than Money—were published in the spring of this year to mark the 20th Anniversary of the 1997 release of Rich Dad Poor Dad. That book and its messages, viewed around the world as a classic in the personal finance arena, have stood the test of time. Why the Rich Are Getting Richer, released two decades after the international blockbuster bestseller Rich Dad Poor Dad, is positioned as Rich Dad Graduate School. Robert has also co-authored two books with Donald Trump, prior to his successful bid for the White House and election as President of the United States.
Thank you Robert. The people who see this as a way for you to get rich on them, for they missed the whole point ! It’s about them. being able to choose a different way, a different mindset , and lifestyle if they Want It .
Wow! this lesson it is just amazing!
I never been so financially educated in just 17 minutes of watching a video!
this lesson has been the best that I haver had in my life. one second and I already know that I dont have to work for money,
I dont wanna be a looser and I will try hard to build my assets.
I m in UK, do you know any great assets that i can start with to get financially indipendent?
Many thanks for this life changing advices!
You are for real one of the best business man and mentor out there. ,Many blessing to you
The title “getting a job is for losers” clearly makes you an idiot and greedy for money. So a hard working father to feed his kids is a loser? Or a hard working employee is a loser? or a diligent, responsible individual? You may have all the money you want, but lack peace of mind, love, or kindness. Think twice before you spit out your words. Shout out to all the hard workers ♥️ whatever your job is, become the best at it and live your dreams :)
Best mentor ever. I bought a copy of every publication Robert produced around Y2K. Shared it with family and had a wonderful learning experience. It was still difficult to overcome the pressure to be an employee because none of my peers had the courage to grow. I saw how this was toxic to me and cut ties as needed. Even so I still had to deal with my habit of not giving up and held onto the job I had for another fifteen years. Today I own my own business and only employ myself so far. I feel unimaginably better now and can't fathom ever going back. I am finally beginning to accumulate assets and it is wonderful.
Lucky student getting this wisdom from a genius. Future world will be so different. Todays young people will have a huge challenge in coming years, real estate will not be able to give much of capital appreciation. Therefore cash flow will be so crucial. For this mortgages will have to be paid by the tenants. Unfortunately vast majority of people think their house is an asset.
Life is a lifetime of learning. If you stop learning, you stop living. Some people including our neighbor still have to learn basic, 1 plus 1.. A,B,C...common sense etc. because he doesn't even know how much money he burn each day in smoking, plus he does not know where to put his dogs poop.

Its a good lesson...but she is "SO CUTE", I cannot focus! Just think how proficient and knowledgeable she will be in money; 10 years from now with all her education...She is going to be a Future CEO in a top 500 company.
+Stuffandthings There is a lot of speculation about the identity of Rich Dad. Surely he would be dead by now so revealing the identity would possible. Like I said it is good to help and sell books etc.
If nobody was willing to work in a job then there would be no big businesses with thousands of employees? If everybody was an entrepreneur who would collect the garbage from outside his house, wash his car and build the computer he is using to be the entrepreneur? Does Mr. Kiyosaki have employees in his business. I like to work for a boss that thinks I am loser. Gives me a great feeling of being appreciated.
A lot of these financial people act like they're so fucking smart when many of them are actually just frauds. If they were so smart they wouldn't have created a Great Recession 10 years ago that was the worst recession since the Great Depression and even affected the global economy.
ron Sylvia First of all, nobody asked you anything dude, this isn't a debate... Second of all, how do YOU know that the majority of the wealthy people in the establishment came from nothing? Do you know them all personally or grow up with them??? Just because someone started out with no money doesn't mean that they came from nothing, there's a BIG DIFFERENCE there... 3rd of all, most people who get rich don't get rich in a lifetime, so people who actually came from NOTHING (Meaning no money, no well-to-do parents with any funds to pass down, and no one willing to loan them any capital) are NOT categorized in the MAJORITY of the wealthy... People like Bill Gates, that's once in a while, Oprah, that's once in a while, Steve Jobs, once in a while (Not Lottery Winners, Athletes, Rappers, Actors, Athletes or any other celebrities)... The actual MAJORITY of BILLIONAIRES (Wealthy people, not just rich people) had generational wealth PASSED DOWN TO THEM, regardless of what kind of articles you've read or stories you've heard online... No one is gonna openly say with pride to a working middle class or poor individual that they were born with a silver spoon... Unless they're just intentionally being a dick, like our current president, or something to that effect. Sorry, I disagree, maybe you should go speak with someone else who believes the hype like you do...

I think getting job is not for losers for many reason Cause if a person has skills and if educate him/herself about money plus he has methor to guide his/her plan he shouldn't be a loser because First you need to set a goal second, ,if you hv no income or assets, you need to find or get a job first and save money then if you hv enough capital execute ur plan. Job isn't bad . In my experience, I had no degree or good education that's why I get a job first while I'm learning and someday if I have enough capital, then STARt my plan to reach my goals.the the things here is if you remain yourself in employment for the rest of ur life..
+Devin Rumer That is not entirely true the credit crisis was created by unscrupulous city traders bundling up low credit loans as triple AAA rated loans and selling them to Pension investments and Low risk funds arounds the world.... they increased getting people to do these low credit loans as they were making incredible money from it selling it on.... When the shit hit the fan Global government could not let the banks running these AAA investment go under as the world as we know it would just dissolve and so that had to bail them out... but anything related to selling these toxic investment in the first place or as middle men went to the wall.......
not at all, it was the government intervention requiring banks to loan to credit risky ppl. Then, when they couldn't or didn't pay, the debt was spread to the others who had ARM loans to offset the losses. If the government wouldn't have stepped in, it would never have happened.

Believe it or not, but every person working a job is not living pay check to pay check. Working the right job can be very fullfilling, and way less stressful and painful than being an entrepreneur. It really depends on what you want.
The truth is that humanity never relied on “jobs” until the industrial revolution began. The human race was filled with self sufficient farmers and crafts people/tradesmen. The problem is that it is getting nearly impossible to BE your own boss in today’s world. Consumerism and capitalism cannot have everyone doing their own “thing” and not being indebted and not — collectively — paying taxes. It is all now far beyond twisted and unrealistic to live the way we have been living. Pretty much the only millionaires paying true taxes are lottery winners — because they are still winning upward rather than slaving away their weeks, hours, months, and years of their lives. Our society is sooooo fractured. In the meantime it will be “pipe-dreams” of popular media to subdue the emotional tirades that afflict the working classes to “tide them over.” So, can a person only be ultra happy when they are ultra rich??
Also, I understand the idea of minimizing tax reduction but that also hurts the public doesn’t it? I guess I can understand and partially agree with due to corrupt politicians. I mean we need taxes for road works but we all know roads are worked on that really don’t need it and then the one that do don’t when it doesn’t provide the most profit.
I am going to implement these strategies and evolve my strategies over time as well but I am still going to pursue my dream. That dream is becoming a neurologist and thankfully I am on my way to that dream. Also, it’s not because of the money or anything beside passion. I love medicine and helping others. I’ve already interned for a year and seen patients with the attending physician who was a neurologist specializing in the treatment of stroke. I’ve never enjoyed something so much so that’s what I’ll be one day. I’ll use these strategies but still have the loans for school and I’m just willing to accept that because of passion.
He speaks the truth. The thing I wanted to say is this, not everyone can or will be an entrepreneur. Some people "have" to work for money in order for people like Robert Kiyosaki to not "work" for money. This tells me that rich people need people to go to college and get a job because it keeps them rich. If everyone worked for themselves without any employees, no one would be rich at all. It'll be like bartering from each other. You have spices, I have clothes, let's trade. My question is, how can we as a society change this social structure to where we all can benefit? I would say getting away from greed would be the first step, but we all know us humans will never let that happen lol.
I’m not certain but I think the only opportunity the poor have to improve their outlook is through the mercy of the rich; by that I mean not treating them with injustice and exploiting them. The rich will always be more powerful. Their power comes with an attendant responsibility. If the powerful are greedy and exploit the poor, only the rich benefit. If the rich have integrity, and don’t add interest to their loans to the poor, and don’t underpay them because they are poor and voiceless, don’t underpay them because of market forces meaning there is an excess of workers, and if the same opportunities can be provided to the poor then those who are wise can pull themselves out of poverty. Eg life gets cheaper when you have money to some extent: if you live in a rich country, you have internet access to trillions of dirt cheap goods on Amazon or wherever; you have access to mass produced cheap food; you can buy in bulk and save money in the long run etc. The poor don’t have opportunities and instead of cheap deals they resort to paying the full price (eg mobile pay as you go, or high interest emergency loans) , or even if they do have access, perhaps a corrupt postal service or import tax duty or theft etc prevent them from benefiting. So their costs are kept high. Another point is that there will always be the poor; sometimes due to injustice and other times due to bad life choices leading to bad mental and physical health, bad financial health and joblessness/ homelessness. Eg, getting into bad company, using drugs, turning up high at work and losing your job. We can only help those who are willing to take opportunities; but to me the worst thing to observe is someone willing to work hard and improve their life but they are blocked from benefiting due to injustice and exploitation. I was a bit taken aback to hear that the lower and middle classes pay the taxes, it’s true too. But maybe it’s always been this way since times of feudalism or serfdom. The peasants did all the work...
You are the man! Completely set me on an entirely different path in life. I would have been trapped in the earners mentality my whole life had I not read your book which has sparked a fire for me to consume investing material etc..
He's right, this is not the 50's grand economy with balance, work for a bos and slave and struggle or become your own bos and have even wealthy time. Why make someone else rich that you can leave nothing for your children.

The government wants to make the economy strong with assets. I buy $1 million worth of equipment supposedly I get a break🙄 that is what the reason I’m thinking this is what that makes USA growing internally. Taxpayers need more breaks and incentives for buying large equipment from the government.
