If you are a user of furniture polish, you might want to re-think things. Furniture polish is a 'catch all' product which really doesn't effect much, aside from a streaky and hazy finish over time. Instead, here are the right ways to care for wood furniture! I've even included a DIY furniture polish recipe for you.
Aside from mayo, I can't stand milk or Jell-O. What food aversions do you have?

I spilled milk today the whole cup and my dad was really mad and then I spilled again that same day and I didn’t want him to find out so I cleaned it up with dry paper towels and disinfecting wipes big mistake because now it looks worse😬
Great video! How do you clean white spots, stains, splatters on black legs of wood chairs. Not sure what they are from, but over time I tend to get them and cant get rid of them. What to use when your black furniture is dirty? Yours looks very clean so I can see how a simple wipe would clean them. Also how do you clean/what's the best way to clean hard to reach crevices on chair corners and their slatted backs?
I can't stand garlic and absolutely dislike Brussels Sprouts - as my husband would say "Honey that are only baby cabbages". When I roast some vegetables the next time I am going to add just a few brussel sprouts just for him!
Thanks for the furniture tips. I can't stand seafood, has a weird sense to it, ruins my appetite. Other foods not so bad but I can shove down my throat are eggplant, asparagus, beans with the pod and lamb/sheep meat.
Thank you for your helpful videos. I am going to clean my furniture with your recipe using the black tea, can I apply it as you directed with the enzyme (spray, let sit for 2’ and buff with a dry cotton cloth)? Or needs to be done with a wet cloth...? Thank you for your reply.
Do you have any tips for cleaning rough cut wood? A cloth gets caught on the surface and leaves lint behind. I’m also afraid of adding any moisture. We have rough cut cedar walls throughout the house, including the bathroom where toothpaste has splattered. Please help! Love your videos.
Cilantro! Tastes like soap to me. I was relieved to find out 10% of the population has this food aversion and it’s just our taste buds betraying us. Some of my favorite cuisine is still Mexican, Indian, and Thai.... I just have to check if I can skip the cilantro when eating out.
I know, I'm late here but it was a MUST to look for cleaning hacks. And your choices are better than others. What do you use to clean Appliances? Like TVs, Cable Boxes? 🤦That's something I've messed up because of the dust getting back into the application. And the only way I learned to clean was from Top of the room to Bottom. My mom told me to first, sweep the floors then undust. But she never buys the right products. She thinks, if it says 'Wood' it's for all kinds. And I never heard of the Microfiber Cloths. So 'I AM' getting them. She also buys those Feather dusters and the stupid sprays and she says I'm using them wrong 😡. Plus, I don't like the way she cleans but she does like mine. Or so she makes it seem so she won't clean. Which is no problem.🤷 And things are rough so money is a priority. Ty for all. I have to keep watching.
Olive oil will spoil over time. Cold pressed walnut oil is what master woodworkers use on handmade wood items. Food safe for use on cutting boards, spoons, bowls, ect. I highly recommend not using olive oil! It will seep into the grain of unfinished wood and spoil.
What about a finished wooden kitchen table? I like to clean and disinfect but I've never been sure on how to take care of my table. It's messed up now from being in storage and it has like some scrapes and whatever maybe from me trying to clean it with water and soap so I would like to get it refinished but in the meantime I'd like to clean it properly without doing any more damage
Hello from Australia. I watched one of your videos and think you might be able to help me. (Sorry but I don't have the patience to look through all your videos for a possible answer.) I have one question/dilemma. The first time I entertained with my new cube coffee tables, a little girl spilled some soda pop, possibly lemonade (7 Up). I of course wiped it up immediately with a damp cloth but I think the fizzy component removed some of the shine. If I am able to post a photo, you can see one side of the top is a different colour and actually does not feel smooth like the rest. What can be done to restore the look and feel to the finish?
Oh yeah! mayo is disgusting! nobody understood me...until now! so glad you mentioned it. Seriously now, i have a question about my dining table...its made from an indonesian exotic wood..cant remember what exactly, and i used polish on it just yesterday and it came up with a beautiful shine...should i be wary of the build up you mentioned? Thanks for your very informative vids as always i trust your advice for everything! blessings x
Yay! I've had the same bed frame since Was 2, and it's good and all, but I need a bigger bed (The bed is twin sized). But...you guessed it, the bed frame looks disgusting. I need to clean it so I can sell it.
Hi I just wanted as about your thoughts on using wax on wood furniture? I'm getting a table soon I think it's dark oak and it has some wear signs and I was advised to use briwax. I know this wouldn't be used regularly but as a first treatment when I get it. Thanks if you do answer this for me
