First year Forex trading

240 ratings | 14732 views
https://www.robothousetrading.com/welcome So, how much did I make in my first year of trading Forex? Honestly, not a lot of money. But, I was profitable for the year so I consider that a great success. Secondly, all of this trading was robotic and automated. I didn't actually take any trades myself. So, this was a great proof of concept for that, which was very important for me personally.

So are you selling any software for tangible profits?
samrobin233 (4 months ago)
Hey I've been binge watching your videos. Great content. Just one question please. Why is it do you think that Scott Welsh closed down The Hornet and replaced it with The Heron? Reason I ask is because I see on your MyFxBook account that The Hornet is doing really well in comparison to Scott Welsh's MyFxBook which has The Heron running?

Profits is profits no matter the size of it. Im very new to trading myself and still learning new things as time goes by. I earned about $90 in less than 15 minutes acouple days ago, got greedy and lost about $100 right after that. Sure i lost money but i gained experience that hopefullly will help me in future trades. Atm in just trading with about $100-200 just to get the hang of things.

Sorry I am sceptical about this .. in your first year you are up .. I don't know anyone thats up in their first year or their second to be honest
Arnoud (7 months ago)
Lol my spelling is so bad , I did not know.. will check it out
Robot House of Forex (7 months ago)
You have every right to be skeptical. My trading performance is public on MyFxbook.

Do you plan to trade by yourself? You might be able to earn more if you trade yourself. How much money did you use for trading?
iForex Robot (8 months ago)
Best to trade yourself, then lose money and then trade with algorithms, no other way to make money in forex

if you only make $462 a year then you need to study more. ive made thousands of dollars in a demo account in 3 weeks
mystrodds (1 month ago)
Well clearly you missed out on the key phrases of his statement... this was his “year” total not day. Smh anyone can make that in a day but what does your overall look like in a year and on top of that it was his “first” year good job listening👎😂

Demo account? Doesn't count...not even close to real trading especially the psychology! However for the time put in Forex can really be a waste of time, however I applaud this guy but recommend that he makes his money work a bit harder, however he is happy with his results, and he's right, if you are still trading after a year then you are doing better than most! Well done!
Colonel Bastian (8 months ago)
i was having luck with the daily timeframes you know. the trend if your friend
Wavemaker (8 months ago)
I actually don't have any trouble whatsoever. As I mentioned, I earned more than $600 in just 3 days of trading and I used different timeframes (1 min, 5 mins, 30 mins, etc.). I haven't tried yet the 1 day timeframe. I did ask you what time frame you use so that I can have an idea what timeframe other traders use.

Well done! Staying in the green is something you should be very proud of. Only up from here! Keep managing that risk.

Great channel. I've discover it today and I think it's really interesting. Do you explain all clear . Nice to have a channel to hear real trading experiences, fed up of fucking gurus xD. Keep it doing it! Regards from a fx trader in Catalonia 😉

Do you know that with just an investment of $500, you can be making up to $2500 on a weekly basis through BITCOIN TRADING? Interested persons can contact/mail me on: [email protected] com Thanks
Bertrum Fawcett (11 months ago)
I earnt more than that in a day maybe spend less time making videos. lol
Sergio TL (5 months ago)
Bertrum Fawcett Exactly, "in a day". You probably blew the account the day after. The great thing about this guy is that he made some money after a whole year of trading. So, his trading strategy has proven to be profitable. Consistency is what matters.

What fucking site do u use bro???
CutieStare (1 year ago)
Hi I've just found your channel and you said how much you gained but didn't share your loss. Can you tell us how much you lost in the year as well? I've just started learning about Forex and just wanted to know as some sort of reference or so 😅
Robot House of Forex (1 year ago)
That was after losses. So, $462 net. I don't have time to look at the numbers now, but I would guess I lost around $700, made around $1162.
Rick Bell (1 year ago)
If you count those 150 hours or more of effort each month. Or maybe ten times that depending on how long it takes someone to learn and build such a skill. Losses are huge even if you make a few hundred bucks accidentally your first year. I think time value is reduced to owing money at a certaint point. Our time is super important in these days and days ahead. Even comments take time and so when doing these we are actually not productive and not making money. Where does it all end! :( Love the videos). However I'm looking to build a bit faster. I'm looking at getting a broker that will help ensure maximum feed and leverage. Sure I'm wanting long term residual income as well, only on a much more speedy platform. I believe if you with your knowledge were able to come out ahead in a year. Then it's possible to double down and easily double income. So instead of making $1.00 per day...make $2. Or $3. Or $10? I would need to start at making $10 per day for a $300 dollar pay off at the end of the month. And then roll each month back into the pot. Make sense? Thanks!

This is glorious, been searching for "is online forex trading real" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Harperzon Forexify Equalizer - (search on google ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my neighbour got excellent results with it.
You got this. I have blown out my account a couple of years back and now am starting back up, people need your channel. Not enough honesty out here, it's a trillion dollar market with plenty to go around.
Goofie Intuition (1 year ago)
Thanks for sharing. U didn't say how much u started at and how much u risk per trade. 462$ doesnt mean much. for example If u started with capital of 100$ and u risk 10$ per trade having 462$ is super great! but if u started with 400$ and you risk 100$ per trade, well 462$ is not that good hehe

I use various trade sizes for different robots. It all depends on the testing I've done. Some bots run with a trade size of $20 per pip. Other bots only 10 cents per pip. So, there's no real commonality.
Quickdraw1111 (1 year ago)
@ Robot House of Forex: I think he was asking in general how much you risk per pip. Is it more often than not something like ten cents per pip? ... 50 cents per pip? ... One dollar per pip? Or do you often risk in the area of ten dollars per pip? Again, we are just curious of the general, most often risked amount per pip that you tend to use (you don't have to calculate the exact amount you are using, but we are wondering VERY GENERALLY how much you risk per pip).
Robot House of Forex (1 year ago)
I don't spend much time on risk per trade analysis. The $462 was made from various accounts. The max I had invested that year was 5k.
Celtic Tiger (1 year ago)
Hey you did well, most traders loss everything in there first year, especially in FX, I made 570 my first year that was on stocks, I don't want to count the amount of hours I've studied this plus doing a professional course, then being offered a job on a trading desk running a portfolio, before that I was picking tomatoes.

Unfortunately, I cannot, as I've never paid anyone to code my systems.

I'm curious how far (near?) away you are from the 10K hours of studying the markets. :-)

I wish you well in your trading! I lost count with my hours put in lol, but if it helps you out I'd look into Market Profile. It helps me a lot. Cheers!
Robot House of Forex (1 year ago)
If I had to guess, I'd say I'm around 200 - 400 hours into my personal trading education. I've noticed this number to be around the time one begins to gain some competence in a new skill (I've tracked this for writing, drumming, programming, speed reading, etc...). The great thing is that this kind of education time really only takes a few months to a year depending on your schedule. Cheers!

Forex is nasty. I prefer trading equity futures with margin.
Konan Refer (1 year ago)
What combination of indicators do you use for your robots?
Robot House of Forex (1 year ago)
So far I've made use of moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands and price. Pretty much every robot I've made so far uses some mix of those.
Sweet job man! :)
