Hedge Funds are often viewed as investments that achieve very large returns and with the amount of money that the managers charge, they should. However, this is not the case and has not been in recent years.
Today, Tom Sosnoff and Tony Battista tear apart the industry that is based on little. The guys discuss all of the problems that investors in hedge funds face. Some of these problems, such as lack of liquidity and high risk, might be accounted for if the funds returned the high levels that they promised. This, however, is not the case. Tom and Tony see that Hedge Funds only returned 2% this year, well below the markets return of almost 14%!
Nobody rants like these ex-floor traders. Tom Sosnoff and Tony Battista touch on topics nobody else wants to go near.
