Please help me for overcoming the error -F0035 in ACS 150
GalcoTV (8 months ago)
Then it is most likely the drive itself has failed.
Sunil Lohani (8 months ago)
I check voltage between each phase and ground. This is OK. And also disconnect motor wires but error is coming continuously.
GalcoTV (8 months ago)
Did you measure each phase to ground? If so and the voltage to ground is equal, the drive may be faulty and need repair.
Sunil Lohani (9 months ago)
Input power supply OK
GalcoTV (9 months ago)
Please reference the terminal numbers

Hello Katie. Could you please tell me how to synchronise two motor?
GalcoTV (10 months ago)
No problem ajay
ajay rawat (10 months ago)
Thanku Katie....lots of respect from india....I will keep asking questions, hope you will support.
GalcoTV (10 months ago)
This is probably a question for our engineering department, but yes you can run both same rated motors off of a single drive. However, you MUST add the horsepower of the 2 motors for total power of the drive. In other words, (2) 5HP motors will require at least a 10HP drive, ok? Also you will need to provide separate OL relays for each motor.
ajay rawat (10 months ago)
Question 3: can we run two same rated motor by single drive.if YES ,how?If NO,why?
ajay rawat (10 months ago)
Let 's ignore duty of drive.we have 75 hp motor ,so in terms of Kw rating what should be drive rating?

What does U and I stand for on the input switch?
GalcoTV (1 year ago)
The U stands for voltage input (0-10volt input), and the I makes it a current input (0-20ma).

Where does Katie connect the +24V Source to in her setup? Trying to wire up the ABB ACS150 for a momentary contact paddle switch.
GalcoTV (1 year ago)
5th terminal from left should be the +24volt output but you will also need a jumper from com to gnd so you can use the internal 24volt supply for your inputs.
Electrical hub (1 year ago)
i had installed pot but it is not controling, which parameter should i change that speed could be controled by pot and i am using acs5050-01-045a-4
GalcoTV (1 year ago)
Ok if you have keypad ACS-CP-A first make sure you have the "REM" symbol in the upper left corner of the display, (remote mode) if not simply push the LOC/REM button to put back into remote mode of operation. If still doesn't work you may have to default the drive.
Electrical hub (1 year ago)
yes it is acs550. i had downloded its user manual from abb website. It was running on remote mode by using speed pot but person who was handling this drive before me had done something to it and now pot is not working some parameters are also missing i can only change rpm by drive keypad prameter 11 ,1105. please help
GalcoTV (1 year ago)
Ahh well let me assume that you mean the ACS550, because there is no such drive as ACS5050, ok? The drive defaults to the Analog input 1 or AI1 at X1 terminals 2, 3, and 4. Do you have a copy of the User manual for this dirve?

hello Katie i am not able to start this drive,is it necessary to connect AI I have connected 3 phase mains & motor connection but drive not starting
Cristito Jimenez (1 year ago)
good luck
shrikant kale (2 years ago)
yes sure
GalcoTV (2 years ago)
Hey Shrikant, If our instructions end up not working, there may be a chance that the drive is defective since the display is lighting up but not actually showing anything. Keep us updated!
GalcoTV (2 years ago)
You're welcome, we hope you can get it working!
shrikant kale (2 years ago)
yes thank u & I'll try it tomorrow

Is this machine suitable for a 5 pin UK 3 phase plug? 3 Phase + N + E.
GalcoTV (2 years ago)
Yes this drive can be used in the UK, it meets all US, UK and European stardardsWe suggest connecting the Neutral and Earth ground wires together at the drives chassis ground terminals. Connect the line phases L1, L2 and L3 to U1, V1 and W1 terminals on the drive only. There is also an EMC filter built into the drive, depending on your particular power feed system, you may want to change the plastic screw to metal screw to connect the EMC filter and make it active. Hope this helps.
